@Quthulhu The legendary quest is completely optional, so you do not HAVE to buy anything. You can if you want to, but there is no requirement to do so...the choice is entirely yours and it has no impact on being able to complete your weekly progress.

@JamesStPaulESOL @Quthulhu As mentioned in the blog, this is the very first iteration of the system. It will be expanded upon a lot in the coming months and these Legendary quests will include a lot more options as well.
