714s | obviously serpent Moon ended today at 4 |

723s | yeah I mean uh I think everyone is |
725s | really aware of that that this has been |
727s | so far our longest live event and as |
731s | such and you can see by the numbers by |
733s | the snake dance looted and the set snake |
735s | sacrifice basically the total eight |

738s | totally even points I mean competition |
741s | was fierce and so we had over 5 billion |
745s | even points in total and thanks for |
747s | everyone for playing the game and really |

753s | that's a lot of snakes and indeed a lot |

767s | about this update which is update 1.10 |

773s | so Tom let's see the highlights of uh |

780s | right so we're starting off with |
782s | Stillwater by you there's two changes |
784s | here that I wanted to highlight and show |
786s | here |
787s | um that the team's been working on the |
788s | first one is going to be Alice Farm |
791s | uh mainly this river that we all know |
794s | and love and there's a little island now |
797s | um that you can see in the screenshot |
798s | that is blocking the sideline there a |
800s | little bit and gives you another option |
804s | for maybe a quicker rotation to the |
806s | other side it's just something we |
808s | thought it would be nice with |
810s | more often than not having |
813s | issues maybe Crossing this River there |
815s | and it's just yeah another option yeah |
818s | it's been much easier to cross because |
820s | like it was always a problem or |
821s | sometimes a problem when the thing |
823s | sitting on the other side so I think |
824s | this is great |
825s | uh and we also have something from their |
828s | own livestock |
830s | there is one change that I'm really |
831s | excited about is mainly about this |
833s | little side building here this little |
835s | Barn you see so we've changed the we've |
838s | given a bit more meaning to this |
840s | building now uh with the roof |
842s | access uh uh into that building from the |
846s | roof so you don't have to go down to get |
848s | in you can also drop down from the roof |
850s | onto these hay bound that are now |
852s | connected with the main boss Pit so |
854s | let's say you're on the roof you make a |
855s | good kill you can actually act on it now |
857s | you can jump down jump over do a little |
860s | bit of a parkour you know and it's a |
863s | good way to really quickly get into the |
865s | bus pit now |
867s | yeah and we actually obviously have more |
869s | changes for Stillwater bio as well we |
871s | actually have a quiet extensive list for |
873s | all the maps so uh make sure you will |
876s | read the update notes when they are live |
877s | for this update but let's look at some |
879s | of the highlights from loss on Delta |
882s | uh starting with Iron Works |
884s | starting with the smaller one first but |
887s | I don't know how you guys feel about it |
889s | but it's been bugging us a bit that |
891s | these two roofs aren't connected so we |
894s | changed it they're connected now you can |
896s | basically now have a much easier time to |
899s | rotate from this side building if you're |
902s | using the roof onto the main building |
904s | and make use of all the cool also new |
907s | little holes you know that are now |
908s | partly open and just maybe give you more |
912s | options when playing around that |
914s | compound so it's it's a bit of a smaller |
916s | thing but the next one is therefore a |
919s | bit of a bigger |
920s | rework yeah which is Nico's prison uh so |
924s | let's look at prison |

928s | so first screenshot you'll see we've |
931s | added a bit more of the balconies |
934s | outside to connect the two wings so you |
936s | don't have only that way through this |
938s | middle Tower you have a bit more options |
941s | to rotate and circle around |
944s | yeah and we wanted to as a side note |
945s | mentioned that the barrels are just like |
947s | all the possible like the phone be like |
949s | all three at the same time as a side |
951s | note uh that you spawn and curse yes |
955s | uh this is the other bigger change at |
958s | prison |
959s | yeah this is a really nice change so |
961s | this this east side gate building has |
965s | been extended we moved the Hut a bit uh |
968s | basically just looking at this entire |
969s | approach to the prison and just cleaning |
972s | cleaning that backside area up a lot and |
976s | um I think that is that's going to play |
977s | really well |

979s | yeah you you'll see it on the test |

982s | and the next next change is going to |
985s | show a little peak of what we also did |
987s | inside the prison there's a lot of |
989s | improvements to readability if you pay |
991s | attention to the staircase and this |
993s | before and after we closed a lot of |
994s | these staircases you know denoise |
997s | everything a little bit make sure it's |
999s | more readable what is accessible and |
1001s | what isn't just so that you have cleaner |
1004s | corridors cleaner corners and just |
1007s | overall a bit more readability uh inside |
1010s | the prison as well |
1012s | is awesome and there's obviously more |
1014s | changes to the prison even that we |
1016s | haven't shown so please explore them on |
1017s | the test servers and there's a lot of |
1019s | new stuff to explore so I've seen them |
1021s | all so really cool stuff uh and let's |
1024s | talk about the new spawn points as well |

1028s | we've added new spawn points and uh |
1030s | We're Not Gonna We're not gonna go |
1032s | through all of that here we want to keep |
1034s | it to the highlights but we've added new |
1036s | spawn points like we did with design |
1038s | already for the last patch we're gonna |
1039s | we did the same we gave the same |
1041s | treatment now to Lawson Delta and |
1044s | Stillwater Bayou to look at my cheat |
1046s | sheet actually |
1047s | and we get that same treatment and added |
1049s | new spawn points you'll find out you'll |
1051s | see that we don't want to spoil that |
1052s | here and also on loss on the cell we've |
1057s | had mainly readability improvements for |
1059s | a lot of the compounds it's going to be |
1060s | a very extensive list of things that we |
1063s | patched and reworked in the patch notes |
1066s | to come soon and um yeah but those were |
1070s | the highlights for sure yeah it's gonna |
1072s | be fun to just like spawn into a new |
1074s | spawn point anyway so it's uh we didn't |
1075s | want to spoil everything for that but |
1077s | there's a new spawn points in the other |
1079s | Maps as well now and uh thank you Tom |

1086s | Patronus side I think there's actually |
1087s | like a very long list of all kinds of |
1089s | changes for level design so please check |

1109s | the new features uh which is a big one |
1112s | let's start off with the brand new |
1114s | questline system |
1117s | okay so basically we are introducing a |
1119s | new system to the game similar to what |
1122s | two might refer to as summons and events |
1124s | they are called the quest lines so this |
1126s | is going to be a new kind of system to |
1129s | engage players interacting with the game |
1131s | gaining new content be receiving new |
1135s | Rewards so I would like to stress out |
1137s | that this is the very first iteration we |
1139s | are really open to your feedback and and |
1141s | you know comments so please stay here |
1144s | until the very end |
1145s | in the questline system |
1148s | you will have multiple stages and in the |
1150s | multiple stages basically you will have |
1152s | multiple summons sorry uh I messed up |
1155s | there multiple quests |
1157s | a little little mess up multiple quests |
1160s | that you can complete as to earn stars |
1163s | and if you complete enough quests and |
1166s | earn enough Stars you will complete |
1167s | basically a stage |
1169s | once you complete the stage you will |
1171s | earn the rewards so they are going to be |
1173s | super cool rewards legendary items |
1175s | Legendary Weapons legendary hunters even |
1177s | and other new customization options that |
1180s | we are going to talk about later on |
1181s | right we'll show some of that in a bit |
1183s | but uh yeah as uh as you said it's gonna |
1187s | be a new system where people can |
1188s | actually progress through selected |
1190s | quests and uh have like different stages |
1192s | of them and uh let's just look at an |
1194s | image example so you can maybe uh walk |
1196s | us through what we are seeing okay so I |
1199s | already made a little bit of a mess |
1202s | there with the summons so I would like |
1205s | to refer to them as they would go into |
1207s | the progress progress progression menu |
1209s | next to this summons so here you can see |
1212s | a very good example of the Billy and |
1215s | Distillery beetle questline |
1218s | um with all the really cool rewards uh |
1220s | in a very first Spotlight that so you |
1224s | can basically identify and differentiate |
1227s | between them in this overview |
1229s | we can go a little bit deeper benser so |
1232s | here is a very first overview on the |
1235s | deeper level you can see that you have |
1237s | the stages on the top row you can go |
1240s | from stage 1 to Stage X |
1242s | currently we have stage up to Stage six |
1246s | uh planned for the upcoming quest lines |
1249s | in 1.10 and you can see here in stage |
1252s | one |
1253s | you have these four quests one of them |
1256s | are completed to the left and there's |
1258s | three of them uh that's that is still |
1260s | there to complete you can see that |
1263s | basically uh if you're curious about it |
1267s | um we made the deliberate decision that |
1269s | we don't force we don't want to force |
1271s | players to be either PVE or PVP specific |
1277s | to have to do all the quests in a stage |
1279s | we want them to we want to basically |
1282s | give them the option looking at the star |
1284s | rewards to decide for themselves you |
1288s | know you can complete either two of the |
1290s | two star quests in this act or stage two |
1293s | to progress forward to the next stage |
1295s | where you can complete the two one stars |
1298s | and then select or choose make your pick |
1300s | between the two others so it's really |
1302s | straightforward and once you complete |
1304s | again a stage you claim the rewards the |
1308s | main rewards for that stage and you |
1310s | advance to the next one until you |
1311s | complete the whole questline yeah we can |
1313s | also see that that you actually get |
1315s | smaller rewards as well for each |
1316s | completion yes like foreign |
1319s | yes for for now we we uh really made the |
1323s | concise decision to not remove them |
1325s | similar to how you can gain these minor |
1327s | rewards and summons we also want to |
1330s | incentivize players to even if you did |
1333s | not complete all the quests in a stage |
1334s | but you advance to the next one you can |
1337s | still come back to previous stages and |
1340s | complete the quest for other either |
1342s | minor Rewards or for bragging rights |
1345s | sounds awesome I think we'll have some |
1348s | more images in a bit later yeah but uh |
1351s | let's tie this together with the feature |
1353s | of stuff he mentioned already |
1355s | so uh when is it coming |
1358s | so uh we are going to have a new twitch |
1360s | drop uh starting with the 12th of |
1362s | October and going until the 20th and |
1365s | this is uh going to be a really |
1368s | interesting twitch drop |
1370s | uh in the regards that |
1373s | you will not only gain very cool uh |
1376s | legendary Hunter and items from watching |
1380s | uh streamers or uh Han Showdown to which |
1383s | category uh streams but you will also |
1386s | gain basically one of the questlines out |
1389s | of the two that we planned to release |
1391s | with 1.10 |
1392s | so basically I would like to stress out |
1394s | that the this quest line that will come |
1398s | with the twitch drops is Twitch drops |
1401s | exclusive you have to watch uh I think |
1404s | 60 Minutes only and you you can do it |
1407s | during the whole remainder of the twitch |
1408s | drops campaign right so you don't have |
1411s | to you don't have to be pressed claiming |
1413s | it on day one although I'm fairly |
1416s | confident that players are going to do |
1418s | that you know I claim it whenever you |
1421s | want and then you can basically Advance |
1423s | with the questline on your own pace and |
1425s | you will be owning it for good all right |
1428s | we forgot to mention that you will be |
1429s | able to link your accounts at the hunt |
1431s | Showdown website free drops this is not |
1434s | currently working yet but please follow |
1436s | us uh social media and obviously with a |
1438s | nice event you can do the new linking |
1440s | process but the link will stay the same |
1442s | so you can already save it and bookmark |
1444s | it uh and yes friends mentioned uh you |
1447s | will get a legendary rewards like in |
1451s | previous special pattern next inclusive |
1453s | questline as well where you can even |
1455s | earn more rewards and let's look at |
1458s | those here |
1460s | all right so you you you yeah |
1464s | someone's coming back to the game |
1467s | um I I think I think it has been an |
1470s | ongoing feedback from the community side |
1472s | that they are missing a bit history so |
1475s | we have decided to basically |

1479s | uh give give another opportunity for |
1483s | players to claim this legendary Hunter |
1485s | and as you can see and we have already |
1487s | spoiled it on the add previous |
1488s | screenshots right so this ability story |
1491s | is going to be a main reward for this |
1493s | twitch drops campaign exclusive |
1495s | questline |
1497s | so once you once you watch the TDC and |
1500s | you claim the questline you can have the |
1503s | questline for good you can help me the |
1506s | story at your own pace basically |
1508s | and yeah we can also see that there's |
1510s | another stage as well with another |
1511s | reward but uh yes I don't know what's |
1514s | that yet yeah |
1516s | yeah well what could what could be |
1517s | better in this case than really sorry I |
1520s | would ask you know I don't think there's |
1522s | anything that is the best uh but yeah we |
1526s | also have like another image on all the |
1528s | rewards uh as you already mentioned the |
1531s | if players watch uh since the first day |
1534s | for 60 minutes you will be able to |
1536s | unlock this exclusive questline fit in |
1538s | the game which will lead you to |
1540s | unlocking Billy story and actually other |
1542s | cool rewards as well and we do have |
1545s | regular drops on the other days where |
1548s | you can unlock these three rewards that |
1550s | you see in the image including a new |
1552s | legendary Hunter as well uh and that |
1554s | feature drops are actually available to |
1556s | every streamer but the hand crossbow |
1559s | will be a partner exclusive everything |
1561s | else will be for everyone |
1564s | yeah I would also like to stress out |
1566s | that uh I think correct me if I'm wrong |
1568s | Ben said but this is our very first |
1570s | legendary Poison bomb uh uh variant now |
1574s | I think so indeed yes yeah it's really |
1577s | cool too yeah yeah so so it's always |
1580s | good when consumables get a little bit |
1582s | of loving right yeah definitely and the |
1584s | hunter is super cool too so you can |
1586s | actually get to |
1587s | twos from the twitch drops which is |
1590s | amazing |
1592s | and we know that a lot of new uh older |
1595s | players actually that already had Billy |
1596s | they were like oh we're not getting any |
1597s | hunter this time but you actually do so |

1608s | new feature coming with this update what |
1610s | is that parent yeah I think I I think I |
1613s | think we did we did a little bit of |
1615s | spoiling like uh what what could be on |
1617s | that six stage or sixth Act of that |
1619s | questline and so we are introducing a |
1623s | new customization option for weapons in |
1625s | our game this is going to be purely |
1627s | cosmetic so there's not going to be any |
1629s | uh gameplay related impact or influence |
1632s | coming from weapon charms they will be |
1635s | attachable to all weapons basically in |
1638s | the game both normal and legendary and |
1641s | uh we are only releasing basically the |
1644s | sneak peek uh with 1.10 |
1647s | um they are going to be tied to the |
1649s | quest lines uh that that much I can tell |
1651s | you and more information are going to |

1747s | about some gameplay changes some Hunter |
1749s | related changes and some progression |
1751s | changes are coming in this update too |

1760s | let's go into the stalker beetle |
1763s | all right select the stock a bit is um |
1765s | something new that we've been cooking up |
1767s | and we're kind of hinting at uh in some |
1770s | of the past streams some of the past |
1771s | messages we've been giving out over the |
1772s | last half year |
1774s | um it's like a new Tactical option for |
1776s | the player like something for for like |
1778s | um scouting harassing creating |
1780s | diversions and breaking stalemates and |
1784s | uh it fits kind of right in with all the |
1785s | other stuff that we already have given |
1786s | to this the player's toolbox kind of in |
1788s | a way like the options that they have so |
1791s | um yeah as I said without further Ado |
1792s | maybe let's let's give Chris a chance to |
1794s | kind of like show what the soccer field |
1796s | is all about and what him and the like |
1798s | the team have been cooking up there |
1799s | because it's amazing |
1801s | absolutely super happy to finally reveal |
1805s | this because um it's a completely new |
1807s | thing for hunt and |
1810s | um it will touch a lot of areas that |
1812s | suddenly people have will have new |
1814s | things to learn in uh and and remember |
1819s | and you remember to take care of new |
1821s | things new angles to watch out for and |
1824s | so on this is why we are super excited |
1826s | about this one so just briefly yes it is |
1830s | a player controlled playing entity thing |
1833s | it's an insect in the lore of hunt |
1836s | um that you connect and connect |
1840s | um to Via your dark Powers right your |
1844s | dark side |
1846s | um it is consumable as you can read on |
1850s | on the screen here so you can buy it in |
1852s | the store but you can also find it in |
1854s | the world |
1855s | the Cocoon that is mentioned here is a |
1859s | new possibility for you to retrieve it |
1862s | in the world we won't go into too much |
1864s | detail uh we want you to explore it and |
1868s | and find them and experience it |
1871s | firsthand but uh it it's hard to miss so |
1875s | have fun with that one and I think we |
1877s | will jump right into the technical video |

1921s | um I mean we're showing it you can reuse |
1924s | it if you're careful with it and you |
1926s | don't lose it and there's various ways |

1930s | you can pick it up again |

1939s | dark side so it has abilities it has |
1945s | it has certain functions we want you to |
1949s | to utilize right but it also has a lot |

1962s | I mean like specifically when you have |
1965s | it in first person your hands right like |
1967s | it as a little Beetle looks into your |

1977s | think it's cute but not necessarily |
1978s | everyone agrees I think it's cute uh |
1981s | well let's see what else it can do then |
1986s | yeah so we we teased this in the other |
1989s | video where it says you you can actually |
1991s | explode it this is not the main purpose |
1995s | um of the stalker Beetle it deals very |
1998s | minor damage and effects this is meant |

2002s | uh enable you to have some sort of an |
2005s | effect on your environment this showed |
2006s | in in early play tests already where we |
2009s | just want to be able to maybe open a |
2012s | window shutter or maybe deal damage to a |
2016s | cranked handle right and close that door |
2018s | that that should be closed |

2022s | because it enables me to uh to run my |
2026s | tactics however want right |
2029s | um and another important thing that we |
2031s | should mention because it will surprise |
2034s | a couple of people it triggers all the |
2037s | warnings like if it's close to a clue |
2040s | with another player the clue will also |
2042s | turn red it's considered in the |
2044s | extension of the hunter that is |
2046s | controlling it whatever that means |
2048s | systemically and that is for you to find |
2051s | out and this is just a little hint |
2053s | right and uh yeah let's look at our |
2056s | longer video after this to see how it |
2058s | actually looks in game and how it works |

2187s | we want to run the teams |

2306s | ways of disabling it or killing it and I |
2309s | make a distinction here but we won't go |
2311s | into detail because Hunt is a Sandbox |
2314s | game right and this consumable is a new |
2318s | well I want to say tool but it landed So |
2321s | consumable In Your Arsenal that you can |
2323s | use to |
2326s | enable yourself |
2328s | like whenever you face a challenge in |
2332s | Hunt |
2333s | you should have |
2335s | the potential and the means to overcome |
2338s | that challenge right |
2340s | um and this is just another step we're |
2342s | taking of making uh |
2345s | making players just more |

2350s | give them more abilities more options |
2353s | more things they can they can actually |
2356s | work with in either direction |
2359s | right then that's pretty much it yeah |

2366s | servers especially for this one because |
2368s | there's so many different use cases so |
2371s | many different tactics you can uh do |
2373s | with the stalker b-roll that the uh you |

2379s | very fun to play around with it and |

2388s | lot of other information that you will |

2402s | did a like a lot of play testing with |
2404s | the stalker Beetle also with like some |
2406s | of the some of the people from the |

2417s | thing to try and test serve all of you |

2438s | for now and let's talk about some of the |
2441s | other changes like the gameplay changes |
2442s | we've added tennis what are new in this |
2445s | update |
2446s | yeah so uh we're gonna talk about first |
2449s | off uh compact ammo for rifles um so |
2452s | this is something as part of our one |
2453s | boarding strategy a little bit like |
2455s | doing some some of the bouncing changes |
2457s | that we've been discussing for a while |
2458s | now and one of the things you want to do |
2460s | is want to ensure that um specifically |
2463s | the compact ammo rifle so this is |
2465s | specifically excluding the handguns |
2468s | um have a slightly higher effective |
2470s | range which means a higher headshot |
2472s | range so that you can kind of use some |
2475s | of them a bit more competitively and it |
2477s | also helps to kind of Bring Down The |
2479s | Long ammo meta which we still see as |
2480s | being a dominant strategy in loadouts |
2483s | which is okay people can play whatever |
2485s | they like but this gives like some of |
2487s | the players who don't play long I'm a |
2488s | bit more of a Competitive Edge so don't |
2490s | expect this to go up like to two three |
2492s | hundred meters right but it's going to |
2493s | be sitting roughly below that little bit |
2496s | um I think for the regular wind field |
2498s | we're talking about like roughly um 150 |
2500s | meters with the new changes so you get |
2502s | like 50 boost on top roughly a bit more |
2504s | and with FMJ it can connect go a little |
2506s | bit higher so maybe time to dust off |
2508s | that Winfield Marksman or the aperture |
2511s | and just try them out in a test server |
2513s | so I'll get a feeling for them there's |
2515s | no other changes to the compact ammo |
2517s | like so in terms of what they hit or the |
2519s | damage it's just specifically on the |
2520s | headshot side of things which we refer |
2522s | to as effective range in the stats |
2526s | if you do have some changes to the |
2528s | explosive customer mode for the uppercut |
2530s | as well yeah so this is also more of a |
2532s | minor change |
2533s | um I mean most people know that |
2535s | explosive upper cup uppercut emanation |
2537s | isn't really a fan favorite and that is |
2539s | perfectly fine we also had to do like a |
2541s | lot of changes to it a long time ago |
2543s | when it comes to making sure that |
2545s | explosive ammunition is not a problem |
2546s | for example on consoles where Precision |
2548s | aim is a bit harder and the splash |
2550s | damage actually gave you a bit of an |
2551s | advantage so no changes to Splash damage |
2553s | this is just that you finally have a |
2555s | chance as it is in line with for example |
2556s | the Martin Henry explosive or the |
2558s | Springfield explosive that are to a |
2560s | fraction of their normal effective range |
2562s | you can also do no headshots so in a |
2565s | compound if you have that loaded in |
2567s | maybe you can do that headshot now but I |
2569s | can tell if meters is not a lot so you |
2571s | really have to be close but at least you |
2573s | do not need to like hit them two or |
2574s | three times in the Torso in order to |
2575s | kill them there is a chance if you do |
2577s | that will that make this thing become |
2579s | meta no we don't think so it's just a |
2581s | small consistency change quality of life |
2582s | just to bring a little bit more to the |
2583s | foreground as an option |
2585s | yeah I yeah I barely ever faced |
2588s | explosive uppercuts so I think it's |
2589s | gonna be cool to see a bit more of those |
2592s | in the bio path we still have some other |
2594s | gameplay changes and yeah then um just a |
2597s | minor thing as well the the Pax claw um |
2599s | has received a similar treatment as |
2601s | we've been doing with the officer |
2602s | brawler like in one of the latest |
2604s | updates where we basically say now we |
2606s | treat this as being a knife attachment |
2608s | that does the same damage as a knife |
2610s | um it consumes a little bit more stamina |
2612s | still as a knife so there's a trade-off |
2614s | um but you can now more reliably use |
2617s | this as if you were to use a knife so if |
2619s | you want to leave your knife at home and |
2621s | you think it's fine with the uh for |
2622s | example semi-conception I just want to |
2624s | bring dassas alongside it's just an |
2626s | option for you buy anything again a bit |
2628s | of quality life for you guys |
2630s | uh awesome and with the gameplay changes |
2633s | uh at least the highlights of the |
2634s | gameplay changed out of the way let's |
2636s | talk about some of the hunter changes |
2638s | and the traits that changed in this |
2640s | update yes um so poison sense is a kind |
2644s | of an obvious candidate so we've kind of |
2646s | tried it out during the event that just |
2647s | ended right uh by doing for the duration |
2649s | of the event giving it an increased |
2651s | range and we kind of stick with that |
2653s | change so poison sense will have the 150 |
2656s | meter range as we tried out because we |
2658s | think there's a good change and uh again |
2661s | just a minor thing just make the whole |
2663s | thing feel nicer and actually uh |
2665s | something to try out when you're on a |
2666s | test server when you have a chance to |
2668s | play the stalker Beetle poison Sans is |
2670s | one of those uh trades that actually is |
2672s | also carrying over to the Drone like the |
2675s | view of the camera for for that one and |
2677s | if you are using the stalker Beetle |
2680s | um you normally let's put it the other |
2682s | way around normally you have the issue |
2684s | that you don't really want to go to dark |
2685s | side when you're in a combat right so |
2686s | that's what made poison sense less |
2688s | attractive Because unless the guy is |
2690s | really far away you don't really want to |
2691s | like maybe risk losing information |
2693s | with a stalker Beetle however you are |
2696s | constantly in dark side which means you |
2697s | kind of benefit a bit more passively |
2699s | from this and actually can use this so |
2700s | just another thing uh to look at where |
2703s | we can kind of kind of hint already at |
2705s | there some Synergy effects for you guys |
2707s | to try out it was also really fun during |
2709s | serpent moon to finally see more poison |
2710s | since uh players as well uh highlighting |
2714s | Aria us Community manager who loves that |
2716s | trade so it's a great change for him but |
2719s | we also changed cool in this update |
2722s | yeah so um |
2724s | um so far on on life basically means |
2728s | that you're kind of limited within range |
2730s | and you can only do this with grants |
2733s | um so without why I put the limit in it |
2735s | feels kind of limiting anyway school |
2737s | isn't really one of those traits that's |
2738s | used so much so just a bit of an upgrade |
2741s | on that one so if you have the trade and |
2743s | you do damage to a monster at any range |
2746s | and it can no longer be just grants can |
2747s | also be allowed can be something else it |
2749s | actually gives you a bit of Health back |
2750s | as well this is actually interesting for |
2752s | example if you go into Malay with |
2753s | hellhounds um and one of them bites you |
2755s | just like by killing one or two of them |
2757s | it might just top you up right above and |
2758s | you might not even lose that that Health |
2760s | chunk of Health it requires you to top |
2762s | up so it's just a small thing but it |
2765s | kind of adds a bit more value to cool |
2766s | that's actually amazing I already loved |
2768s | cool and it's even better now uh |
2771s | but we also did some small changes to |
2774s | conduit |
2776s | and yeah conduit is something that we |
2778s | kind of struggled a bit with in terms of |
2779s | okay how can we make this better |
2781s | how can we make this more interesting |
2782s | it's been actually one of the Lesser |
2783s | used ones as well |
2785s | um so we basically now give you five |
2788s | minutes of stamina shot whenever you're |
2791s | picking up a clue or a boss token so it |
2795s | means this becomes much more interesting |
2797s | for example for for places want to move |
2799s | fast because you can kind of like move |
2801s | from clue to clue top up those five |
2803s | minutes get more speed and actually like |
2805s | in the beginning of the map just run |
2806s | around a lot faster move a bit more |
2808s | around so that makes the whole thing a |
2810s | lot more interesting for those who like |
2811s | and prefer the fast gameplay but also |
2813s | it's interesting for example for for |
2815s | solo players like so when you manage to |
2817s | snatch up a boss token you actually know |
2818s | that you can kind of run away for five |
2820s | minutes |
2821s | um which it kind of stacks also for |
2823s | example with Magpie which might give you |
2824s | additional effects on top so this is |
2826s | something which we think is really |
2827s | interesting for fast gameplay and kind |
2830s | of gives this whole thing a bit more |
2831s | value |
2832s | some kind of way to see them actually in |
2834s | game and people trying them out to |
2836s | experience how it changes up the |
2838s | gameplay a bit uh but that's it for the |
2840s | trade changes uh and we have a lot of |
2844s | like progression related changes in this |
2846s | update like a huge huge huge huge list |
2849s | uh but we will just take an overview of |
2852s | them and since it's so much you will |
2854s | definitely have to read the passion is |
2856s | to find everything out but maybe Dennis |
2857s | can highlight a few here and there so uh |
2860s | let's talk about some price changes |
2863s | all right so yeah price change is |
2865s | basically across the board this is |
2866s | something we've also been kind of like |
2868s | discussing for time now and and |
2870s | discussed okay how do we want to reflect |
2872s | uh the the Trends on The Meta side like |
2874s | how are people using certain items |
2876s | either the frequency or just how |
2877s | effective they are in general how we |
2879s | feel the the relevant relevant value to |
2881s | them so this primarily is about weapons |
2883s | and custom ammo |
2884s | um and uh we've kind of upgraded or made |
2887s | some bit more a bit more expensive made |
2889s | some a bit more a bit more cheaper |
2891s | um the the gist of it is basically again |
2894s | that we wanted to have a number of |
2896s | weapons that are kind of bit a bit used |
2898s | to it too much go up in price as an |
2901s | example and again there's more on the |
2902s | list so please again later on refer to |
2904s | the full patch notes as we release more |
2907s | information about that because we get |
2908s | close to the test server but one of them |
2910s | is uh the label Marksman and the mozin |
2914s | sniper rifle so both of those just get a |
2916s | bit of a price bump just bring them |
2919s | closer think like if I'm recording |
2921s | correctly like the mozin sniper is not |
2922s | going to 703 30 so that's quite a big |
2925s | jump up something we feel is is |
2927s | appropriate of course we want it to be |
2930s | not like as common as it might be at the |
2933s | moment |
2934s | um or it doesn't mean like the entire |
2935s | like more than again or the entire label |
2937s | family goes up so specifically those two |
2939s | variants we're talking about that's just |
2941s | one example we also have things going in |
2943s | a different direction |
2945s | for example we have the |
2948s | um was it the uh Terminus actually going |
2952s | down in price quite a bit |
2954s | um again refer to the patch notes for |
2956s | all the details but I think it drops by |
2958s | at least 100 competitive orders at the |
2959s | moment and that makes the whole thing |
2961s | maybe a bit more attractive other |
2962s | weapons will go up a little bit |
2964s | um call the conversion the base version |
2967s | still is going to be a cheap weapon but |
2969s | it goes like from like 20 something to |
2971s | 50 something so it's just minor stuff |
2973s | here and there and also we're bringing |
2975s | down and bringing up some of the custom |
2977s | ammo prices as well depending again on |
2980s | usage Effectiveness so just expect like |
2982s | a bigger change a bigger sweep across |
2983s | the Arsenal some things become cheaper |
2985s | some things become more expensive and |
2987s | it's mostly around how people are using |
2989s | certain equipment and how we would like |
2991s | to maybe promote some of the |
2992s | Alternatives more |
2994s | uh sounds great and can't wait to try |
2996s | them as well and see how people maybe |
2999s | take different loadouts now but there's |
3002s | also some other price rated changes |
3005s | yes so this is this is also a bit of a |
3007s | quality of life changes something we |
3008s | couldn't really do before but with kind |
3010s | of as we did these these stick like |
3012s | price changes we kind of like worked a |
3014s | little bit on that part as well so if a |
3016s | weapon has two ammo slots |
3018s | um that means like the total pool of |
3019s | ammunition is divided between between |
3021s | these two slots but so far we have been |
3024s | kind of charging to play the full price |
3026s | so like if you were for example to take |
3027s | a birth year and wanted to use it only |
3030s | with Spitzer ammunition you had to buy |
3031s | two packs of pizza ammunition which |
3033s | would top up the weapon to almost the |
3034s | same for even more than the price of the |
3036s | base weapon would be which is kind of |
3037s | huge so at this in this case we take |
3039s | into account that you only get half the |
3041s | ammunition anyway so it's also only half |
3043s | the price so they make some of the |
3045s | weapons like the Romero for example or |
3046s | Martini Henry other weapons a bit more |
3047s | interesting when it comes to picking |
3049s | secondary ammo types and gonna split up |
3051s | between maybe regular ammunition and |
3053s | bringing one one set of smaller like |
3055s | like I know explosives in case of Martin |
3057s | Henry is a good one or with the Romero |
3059s | maybe slacks |
3060s | um but if you want to physically upgrade |
3062s | the whole thing you will still be in the |
3063s | same price ranges if you were to change |
3064s | a mini on any other weapon that has the |
3066s | same slot |
3068s | awesome and again please refer to the |
3071s | passengers to read the whole list |
3072s | because it's a long list of price |
3074s | changes but it's actually not just the |
3077s | price changes that change but trade |
3079s | changes in terms of upgrade points |
3083s | so for the trades again we also kind of |
3085s | looked a little bit about like which |
3086s | trades are being used a lot you saw that |
3088s | a little bit when I just talked about |
3089s | the gameplay changes we also applied to |
3091s | some of them but in general many of the |
3093s | trades went either up by one point or |
3096s | went down by one point so expect some of |
3098s | your favorites maybe to become a bit |
3100s | more expensive and some of those you |
3101s | think are kind of like overpriced to now |
3103s | finally maybe becoming a bit cheaper but |
3105s | overall we don't really move more than |
3107s | one point either up or down there's one |
3110s | exception that's bullet rubber that can |
3111s | call out maybe on that one that goes |
3113s | down by two points from six to four uh |
3116s | just to make it a bit more attractive |
3117s | especially since we added a couple |
3118s | patches back we added like the option to |
3120s | kind of interrupt your reload by keeping |
3122s | the fire button press pressing reload |
3123s | time it well and you can kind of like |
3125s | very smoothly reload without having to |
3127s | waste the bullet so with that feature in |
3130s | place like bulk rubber has seen a little |
3132s | bit of a decline as people have learned |
3134s | it just to use that technique without it |
3136s | so the change kind of reflects that |
3141s | cool uh bullet jumper is one of my |
3143s | favorite traits it's definitely the |
3144s | coolest trade so that sounds great uh |
3147s | and uh what other progression changes do |
3149s | we have done this which is also kind of |
3151s | a big one yeah so we we kind of moved |
3153s | around the unlock order of a couple of |
3155s | things and uh so this is mostly about |
3158s | like uh trades and and weapons and |
3160s | equipment obviously |
3162s | um the the idea here has been again with |
3164s | onboarding in mind so that's like how |
3166s | can we ensure that like new players have |
3168s | more valuable more meaningful options |
3171s | earlier on you don't have to wait for |
3173s | doctor for too long for example |
3175s | um and also that equipment wise we have |
3177s | a couple of weapons being available a |
3179s | little bit earlier compared to what they |
3181s | are at the moment so one example is that |
3182s | determiners and the martini Henry both |
3184s | are moving uh to a very early unlock |
3187s | rank |
3188s | um so definitely within training mode |
3191s | um just to make sure there's a there's |
3192s | both a second shotgun and also a long |
3195s | ammo option available much earlier |
3196s | consequently maybe some of the weapons |
3198s | that originally were around that area |
3199s | like the Weatherly might have pushed |
3201s | Vector slightly so really things have |
3203s | been reorganized a little bit |
3204s | quartermaster is a bit like earlier now |
3207s | doctor as I mentioned a bit earlier and |
3209s | a couple others as well so overall the |
3210s | whole thing feels a bit nicely a bit |
3213s | more nicer spaced out |
3214s | and I think especially also maybe |
3216s | prestiging players would kind of like |
3217s | that a little bit seeing some of these |
3219s | options a bit earlier mixing things up |
3222s | definitely and once again just to |
3224s | mention it please uh refer to the patch |
3226s | notes or you know when you're trying it |
3228s | out on the test servers later on to see |
3231s | these changes because there's quite a |
3232s | few of them for real so uh it was |
3235s | actually such a long list that it made |
3237s | absolutely no sense to put it in here no |
3239s | no yeah again like the patch notes will |
3242s | will give you full details also they |
3245s | will have death notes as usual in there |
3246s | for some of the bigger features so we |
3248s | talk about the stock a bit Etc so that |
3250s | you guys have a chance to understand the |
3252s | reasoning about some of the decisions |
3254s | Etc and yeah again feedback on test |

3258s | appreciated and also obviously we kind |
3260s | of like want to lure you a little bit on |
3262s | test server because we want that |
3263s | coverage there so that's why we don't |

3266s | guys to really find out by yourself |

3274s | yes definitely but we still have some |
3277s | other changes to mention as a highlight |
3279s | for this update uh so what is this |

3285s | so far it Bounty Hunts uh we did not |
3289s | have any option to really give you any |
3292s | new consumables except for when they |
3294s | were randomly given to you as part of |
3296s | the loot interactions like your own |
3297s | hunter or with the with the item boxes |
3301s | um what we've been adding now is that |
3303s | there are specific locations in the map |
3304s | where there's a chance now for some of |
3306s | the things you normally can't get from a |
3308s | toolbox to also spawn in the world this |
3310s | is rare this is not guaranteed but we |
3313s | want to encourage you for example to try |
3314s | and check out the the big towers a |
3316s | little bit more of not small Towers even |
3318s | there's also a chance to find that a |
3320s | little bit somewhere else we are there |
3321s | like like we do with the weapons just |
3323s | occasionally but for the most part like |
3326s | check and keep an eye closer eye out for |
3328s | the towers and you might discover one or |
3331s | two things around there |

3981s | cheaper upgrade that for example they |
3983s | call the conversion would receive so |

3989s | custom ammo so rest assured medium ammo |
3992s | is still very very lethal and very |
3994s | important thing to stay in the game it's |
3996s | not obsolete |
3998s | and another point was regarding the |
4001s | analog order will the choke bomb be |
4004s | moved to rank one yes that is correct |

4011s | questions about back fixes and if we are |
4013s | fixing bugs and of course as with every |
4015s | update we are fixing a large list of |
4017s | bugs but again uh that could be |

4023s | that you did before or in the patch |
4024s | notes but there will be an extensive |
4026s | list of bug fixes as well |

4037s | and since we're adding new spawn points |

4044s | update actually in 1.9 where there's now |
4047s | a minimum required distance between two |
4049s | spawn points for them to both be able to |
4052s | have a team at the start of the match |

4055s | since then uh this change mainly |
4058s | affected diesel back in the day and |
4060s | since then you shouldn't have had any |
4064s | very problematic spawn fights anymore if |
4068s | you did you can report them |
4070s | but on other on on other Maps we still |
4073s | there's still a slight chance for you to |
4074s | have that spawn fight like an Ironworks |
4077s | Ultras Park in the corner but the the |
4080s | chances have been reduced |
4082s | we do some we do think that spawn fights |
4086s | sometimes can be quite fun |
4088s | um we're not completely opposed to them |
4090s | but it's a matter of balance you don't |
4091s | want to have them every Metro obviously |
4092s | and you don't want to have them too |

4323s | earn that from a previous stage |

4328s | you I don't know like a legendary combat |
4330s | ax and the next in the next ACT |
4333s | you will have a quest that will |
4335s | basically prompt you to now use that put |

4349s | feedback regarding that the summons were |
4352s | to PVP related to PVP focused uh we are |
