s | are going to talk about the highlights |
s | of our upcoming event Devil's Moon it is |
s | a highly feature-rich and very rewarding |
s | event and it is actually the conclusion |
s | of our moon series of events so hey Brie |
s | how are you doing today hey Penta I'm |
s | doing great and I'm super excited to |
s | talk about Devil's Moon thank you so |
s | much for having me it is my pleasure to |
s | talk to you today as the narrative |
s | designer for hunt Showdown and as I |
s | mentioned earlier this is the last |
s | chapter of the Moon series of events so |
s | could you recap what happened in the |
s | story so far and maybe a bit of teaser |
s | what we can expect from this event this |
s | is our conclusion to the series of moon |
s | events like you said first we had |
s | Traders Moon where Sherry started to do |
s | some things where he was up to no good |
s | and Kevin who was kind of an innocent |
s | bystander ended up getting caught in the |
s | middle we have Serpent's Moon which |
s | established the fact that Kevin kind of |
s | took the call to action and was able to |
s | go and start fighting Mr Sherry and get |
s | some allies along the way and now we |
s | have Devil's Moon which is kind of our |
s | equivalent to a big bad conclusion or an |
s | Avengers Civil War where a lot of people |
s | are coming to a head and really the fate |
s | of the Bayou in Louisiana is at stake |
s | thanks a lot of Puerto Rico it sounds |
s | super exciting and I also love the |
s | previous stories and I can highly |
s | recommend all players to check out the |
s | stories section and story progression |
s | during this event as well where you can |
s | even listen to some of the chapters of |
s | Devil's moon in an audio format which is |
s | very convenient please make sure to |
s | follow us on all the social media |
s | channels if you haven't already we |
s | should totally shoot because we teased a |
s | lot of other stuff coming up in the |
s | event we show some trailers with some |
s | new weapons which is some new mechanics |
s | so please follow us and then that way |
s | you will be always updated because on |
s | top of this video we will release two |
s | deep Thai videos one about the gameplay |
s | changes and what about the progression |
s | changes let's dive into Devil's Moon and |
s | let's talk about watching in this one so |
s | the last event of 2022 for hunt Showdown |
s | will take place from December 14th to |
s | February 15th based on your feedback we |
s | made a lot of changes to this event |
s | including a new battle pass system a new |
s | way to get event points called the |
s | challenges and of course a lot of |
s | gameplay changes including a new Wild |
s | Card condition that we'll get to later |
s | on as you mentioned we did listen to a |
s | lot of community feedback especially |
s | around serpent Moon I'm really excited |
s | to find out and tell players how their |
s | feedback really influenced this event |
s | could you tell us what really changed |
s | this time what's new this time around |
s | this this month just like previous |
s | events you'll be able to get event point |
s | from the same typical way so exploring |
s | the app Gathering Clues collecting Souls |
s | from Soul traps banishing bosses and of |
s | course looting Hunter corpses are all |
s | included just like previous events that |
s | you know and loved we have some new |
s | interesting mechanics that will really |
s | make sure that people get their points |
s | this time around I can't wait to find |
s | out more about the salt preps you |
s | mentioned but before that could you tell |
s | us about the new ways on how people can |
s | actually earn event points this time |
s | around for people who don't quite have |
s | the time and really need to get through |
s | those event points we've reworked |
s | summons into challenges where a lot of |
s | people are going to find that they'll be |
s | able to take different tasks or |
s | requirements and get into the bio to get |
s | as many event points as possible we will |
s | dive more into detail about the |
s | challenges that Anton in our Deep dive |
s | video regarding the progression so |
s | please keep an eye out for that but now |
s | let's get back to those Soul traps you |
s | mentioned earlier what are those About |
s | Soul traps are inanimate objects that |
s | have been placed throughout the maps by |
s | Mr Sherry in which he is tasking |
s | everyone to collect the souls from which |
s | he has been trapping and ripening inside |
s | them but that's not all you can also |
s | destroy the soul traps in order to get |
s | pledge marks which you can exchange for |
s | new traits which will really change up |
s | the gameplay and give players new powers |
s | and things to really change up the meta |
s | for honey so you did mention pledge |
s | marks are these similar to the snakes |
s | from serpent Moon and how can people |
s | really collect these in-game so they're |
s | not exactly like the snakes in serpent |
s | Moon players can earn up to three pledge |
s | marks per Mission either by getting 35 |
s | event points banishing a boss or looting |
s | their first Hunter Corps permission so |
s | now we know how players can collect the |
s | pledge marks but what can they actually |
s | do to be done like how do they use them |
s | and how do they apply the traits you |
s | mentioned earlier you can use the pledge |
s | marks to pledge to three different packs |
s | during the event we have the infernal |
s | pact we have the lunar packed and we |
s | have the grounded pack each with their |
s | own set of new powers in the form of |
s | traits that players can kind of mess |
s | around with and it'll completely change |
s | the gameplay this time around how can |
s | players actually use it in game and how |
s | do these affect the gameplay for each |
s | hunter that you take into the mission |
s | you can pledge allegiance to one of the |
s | three packs with the pledge marks so |
s | that is the lunar pact be grounded pact |
s | and the infernal pact each pact has new |
s | powers in the form of traits that you |
s | can use to really shake up gameplay this |
s | time around but I won't get into it too |
s | much because that's for dinner Studio |
s | yeah I can't wait to learn more about |
s | the traits on the gameplay changes with |
s | our deep dive video with Dennis so |
s | please guys can keep an eye out for all |
s | the upcoming videos and changes |
s | but earlier in this video you mentioned |
s | the new Wild Card condition which we |
s | never heard before so what is that all |
s | about we're also introducing The Inferno |
s | which is a new Wild Card condition The |
s | Inferno will change certain parts of all |
s | three maps and change how gameplay and |
s | movement works so watch out for it and |
s | be prepared so Bree that sounds |
s | literally fire and I cannot wait to see |
s | the whole map in flames and how players |
s | play around that but there's still one |
s | thing we haven't touched on and haven't |
s | talked about which is obviously the |
s | rewards this time around so could you |
s | tell us a bit about them we got a lot of |
s | player feedback for the battle pass as |
s | well and so we decided to revamp it it |
s | includes two legendary Hunters a lot of |
s | legendary weapons and weapon charms a |
s | new weapon several new weapons variants |
s | and several new custom ammo types plus a |
s | bit of event story unlocks if that's |
s | what you're into and as we mentioned |
s | earlier we will have a deep dive into |
s | the progression system with Anton later |
s | on and a gameplay and weapon video with |
s | Dennis as well but with that we came to |
s | the end of our highlights video so Bree |
s | thank you so much for telling us all |
s | about the highlights of this event thank |
s | you for joining me today thank you so |
s | much for having me I'm looking forward |
s | to everyone's reactions to Devil's Moon |
s | the end of the series of events and for |
s | what's to come as an avid lore friend I |
s | also cannot wait to find out what's the |
s | ending of the story of the Moon series |
s | you may have noticed that fit update |
s | 1.11 Mr Sherry is gone from the dark |
s | tribute feature but with that being said |
s | please make sure to follow us on social |
s | media and subscribe to our YouTube |
s | channel to keep up to date with |
s | everything Hunt related but also to get |
s | the Deep dive videos we mentioned |
s | earlier with Anton and Dennis about the |
s | game and the event |
s | and without further Ado guys see you in |
s | the bio bye |
s | hey everyone welcome to uh devstream and |
s | I'm here with Dennis and Simon hey guys |
s | how are you guys doing today |
s | hope everyone enjoyed our little |
s | overview video but as we also mentioned |
s | in that video we are going to obviously |
s | talk about a lot of things in this that |
s | stream and this is also the last stream |
s | before the end of the year at least last |
s | Upstream before the end of the year so |
s | we are all very excited to talk to you |
s | about all the cool stuff coming up and |
s | with that being said let's just dive |
s | into it because we have a lot to go |
s | through today |
s | so here's first of all here's a logo for |
s | them very pretty uh the dark is rising |
s | is a subtitle I don't think we ever had |
s | like a subtitle like this but uh I think |
s | it looks really cool uh and let's start |
s | off with a few news uh that are |
s | important |
s | first of all guys we have new merch for |
s | the holidays which you can still get if |
s | you are quick enough and Aya can |
s | actually show you some of these because |
s | I have them here uh |
s | so uh you know uh if you still order |
s | them they you can still get it before |
s | the holiday season but these are limited |
s | for this time of the year and will |
s | become from the store after that but let |
s | me quickly just show them to you here's |
s | one of them |
s | uh has a cool Huntley in the front and |
s | uh |
s | nice feature stuff in the background the |
s | other one I have on which is with the uh |
s | crampussy one with the Devil's Advocate |
s | and it also has it on the back |
s | and uh there's a third one as well |
s | which you can get with again like |
s | Devil's Advocate style how they back run |
s | so if you like these guys uh maybe grab |
s | one of them uh only for limited time in |
s | the store |
s | uh another announcement that we wanted |
s | to make is maybe he already seen it but |
s | the New Port software band are little |
s | developer band and the band that makes |
s | all the music uh for the game has |
s | released a new album with seven songs |
s | that you can already stream in all the |
s | major streaming platforms and it's |
s | called Uh the devil's match and uh yeah |
s | I highly recommend it it is really |
s | really cool and all the songs are |
s | awesome and the the it has the songs for |
s | Devil's moon and the previous events as |
s | well so |
s | yes very cool stuff uh and uh yeah that |
s | was the small intro from me I'm sorry |
s | for that uh but yeah let's dive into the |
s | actual nitty-gritty of the event and uh |
s | now I keep the place for Dennis and |
s | Simon to take over mostly and uh let's |
s | talk about the event overview |
s | uh so okay I guess it's still my part so |
s | as you guys see in the highlight video |
s | is available you can read it and as we |
s | mentioned in the video we will have two |
s | depart videos |
s | was mentioned a lot uh we'll have a long |
s | video diving into the new weapons uh the |
s | traits and everything gameplay related |
s | event and we'll have another vidanton |
s | about the progression and it's also the |
s | last event uh in the moon uh Trilogy so |
s | you guys know we had a traitors Moon and |
s | serpent Moon before this one and this is |
s | Devil's Moon ending the storyline of |
s | these events and I think it will be a |
s | really great conclusion as well |
s | uh and yeah now then it's finally you |
s | can say something so let's talk about |
s | the duration of the event |
s | uh you're not I think they just said |
s | that because I've been talking too much |
s | you know |
s | I can see the audio working so |
s | oh |
s | well apparently it's not meant to be but |
s | uh I can try to fix it very quickly |
s | uh |
s | okay can you say something to me I can |
s | certainly say something |
s | uh is it good I |
s | there we go okay I mean uh the OBS that |
s | is all good but the president so now you |
s | they can hear you so okay let's talk |
s | about the uh duration then |
s | all right so in the hopes that everybody |
s | can hear me |
s | um yeah so we have the event starting |
s | um tomorrow basically the the 14th so |
s | then it goes for two months until the |
s | 15th of February and it will start |
s | tomorrow at 4 pm CET and it will end in |
s | the morning of the 15th at 1 at 8 00 a.m |
s | sorry correct of course it's coming to |
s | all platforms exactly so I know it's |
s | always a question but uh as you thought |
s | previous segments it is available on |
s | PlayStation and Xbox as well at the same |
s | time |
s | uh |
s | uh and yeah Dennis so we did receive a |
s | lot of feedback uh on previous events |
s | could you tell us like what we did with |
s | the feedback and how we go about these |
s | events now yeah so people that seem to |
s | have really appreciated the gameplay |
s | changes from the last event just like |
s | breaking out a bit from the monotomy of |
s | the normal gameplay Loop and uh we were |
s | using events now like to kind of |
s | experiment with things a little bit more |
s | so as you can see this time around and |
s | we talk about this in the next like hour |
s | or so I guess uh we'll show you a little |
s | bit more how this is actually going to |
s | shape this time around what we're |
s | changing what it all means for a normal |
s | gameplay and or where things are kind of |
s | like diverting a little bit this time |
s | around so yeah exciting |
s | yeah so and obviously we will have a lot |
s | of stuff to show you and then you will |
s | understand what the tennis really means |
s | by that and uh yeah let's dive into the |
s | base rules of the event which is |
s | obviously similar to previous one but |
s | let's quickly look through that and |
s | maybe there are some few new things in |
s | there as well |
s | yeah so like normal activities are very |
s | similar to what you guys are known to |
s | right so you it's about Gathering one |
s | like event points and you do that by |
s | completing certain activities |
s | we have novel ones for exploration again |
s | the soul traps which Simon's going to |
s | talk about in a second and we also |
s | obviously have playing the objective |
s | that includes that Clues to bosses the |
s | stuff that you know and PVP of course so |
s | like these three pillars are still there |
s | and they are the foundation for you to |
s | doing the uh like normal activities |
s | however we have something on top of that |
s | which is like the new Challenger system |
s | which Anton will explain a little bit |
s | more in detail because quite a bit of |
s | our event points will be generated from |
s | that system this time around exactly and |
s | we'll have a lot of slides explaining |
s | how the system exactly works but uh yeah |
s | first let's look at the original or |
s | usual methods and the first let's just |
s | take a look at the soul traps and maybe |
s | Simon you can already tell us something |
s | about them like what we are seeing here |
s | so the soul traps are the new uh big |
s | event prop we have for the game and you |
s | can collect event points or destroy them |
s | to also gain event points but you will |
s | get less of endpoints from them |
s | right and uh we do have some videos of |
s | the uh them so let's let's kill them |
s | so you can see they're quite big uh you |
s | can hide behind them |
s | so it's a whole interaction to get the |
s | soul trap and then you get some six uh |
s | event points basically |
s | exactly and we have one more video to |
s | show |
s | I really love how they disintegrate |
s | afterwards yeah and then another big |
s | part of the soul trap is that they |
s | contain the red clue mechanic so if |
s | other Hunters are nearby you'll be able |
s | to note that because of this red glow |
s | and also the sounds |
s | exactly familiar sound so |
s | um if you know whatever clue is you will |
s | feel right at home here thank you so |
s | understanding danger is nearby which is |
s | actually kind of awesome because like it |
s | just gives you that same kind of enemy |
s | proximity readability that we we have |
s | normally just like a bit more |
s | consistently throughout and I think that |
s | makes for some really interesting |
s | changes around these uh like like Soul |
s | traps basically and in terms of spawn |
s | rate about two or three spawn around a |
s | compound so a bit like snakes and uh so |
s | you'll have a lot of opportunities to |
s | get this mechanic working in game and |
s | one thing we haven't mentioned is that |
s | they can actually explode so could you |
s | tell us about that part so basically you |
s | can also destroy them and then they act |
s | like a barrel in a sense so if you stand |
s | next to them it will deal about 100 |
s | damage uh to your Hunter and also a |
s | bleeding effect |
s | so better not get too close to them but |
s | you'll have to risk uh that uh for |
s | getting event points of course |
s | but of course it has a fuse so it's not |
s | that big of a deal so it's not like an |
s | instant explosion variety as you can |
s | have to see like it's about risk reward |
s | like do you want to just like play it |
s | safe to shoot it from distance uh also |
s | make some noise right so it might might |
s | attract some people from from even quite |
s | some distance actually I think and uh |
s | then also like there is a bit of a risk |
s | with a warning that it kind of can blow |
s | up right next to you so yeah always be |
s | careful around them but then again the |
s | Retro mechanic kind of helps at least |
s | when there's enemies really close by to |
s | avoid like any amber situations yes |
s | so yeah those are the new Soul traps uh |
s | and uh Simon already mentioned some of |
s | the points you can collect but here is a |
s | breakdown of uh the event points and how |
s | you collect them to uh through this |
s | event uh |
s | so as you can see if you destroy your |
s | soul traps they do explode but you only |
s | gain three event points if you interact |
s | with them it's uh I guess yeah you could |
s | it's kind of similar how the snakes or a |
s | snake baskets worked in serpent Moon |
s | then you get a bit more point but again |
s | there's the risk that Sava shoots it |
s | let's say and it explodes uh |
s | like if you investigate the clues or |
s | Rifts in quick play then you get 10 |
s | event points uh looting uh that Hunter |
s | will give a 12 banishing a boss also 12 |
s | and uh if you extract feeder at least |
s | one Bounty or you win a quick play Then |
s | you gain 30 and as also Dennis already |
s | mentioned the big part of this event is |
s | the new challenges system so as you can |
s | see you can earn quite a lot of event |
s | points with that but we will get back to |
s | that later and how exactly uh those |
s | Milestones work |
s | and yeah Dennis there's another huge |
s | part in this event which is The Pact so |
s | let's talk about the three packs Yeah so |
s | basically this time around there's uh |
s | three major pacts we call them um and |
s | Hunters are kind of pledging themselves |
s | to either of those packs as they go some |
s | of them |
s | um go for for the first pack which is |
s | the infernal pack then we have the |
s | second pack which is the lunar pact and |
s | the third pack which is the grounded |
s | pact now these three packs they are uh |
s | sort of connected to the lore and the |
s | story behind the entire Moon series of |
s | events so I saw some of you who have |
s | been enjoying the last events they're |
s | kind of like now about some of the key |
s | figures right we know we know about |
s | Kevin we know about Mary we know but Mr |
s | Jerry so these packs that kind of are |
s | either aligned with or against the |
s | schemes off of Mr cherry and what he's |
s | up to and so the infernal pack is kind |
s | of like the pro Cherry faction if you |
s | want to simplify it they're all about |
s | like um like like destruction chaos |
s | um |
s | um basically playing into the hands of |
s | what Mr Cherry is is doing and |
s | mariochenko is like the champion of that |
s | of that pact then we have opposing them |
s | the lunar pact there are rallied around |
s | Kevin |
s | who is like the one of the one of the |
s | kind of like |
s | counterparts to Mr Cherry like he's |
s | going up against him has had some |
s | success even in the last event so uh |
s | yeah make sure to follow the law Parts |
s | this time around so they are about like |
s | restoration about about healing Etc and |
s | then with the ground pack that's more |
s | like a wild card thing it's more like |
s | the the underlined pack so so those who |
s | don't want to choose sites they're gonna |
s | go for the grounded pact and they have |
s | their own kind of kind of like things |
s | going for them |
s | that sounds great there's obviously it |
s | is completely new but uh let's talk |
s | about how these work and how you can get |
s | a pack that what the flags do and what |
s | can you get with the pack so let's talk |
s | about the patchmark system |
s | yeah so the core of this event is uh the |
s | concept of pledging to one of those |
s | pacts and for that we basically |
s | introduce a new new reward currency |
s | which is called The Pledge marks now |
s | they can earn during gameplay and you |
s | can use them to to pledge yourself to |
s | one of the three packs |
s | um each Hunter can be pledged Anew so |
s | you don't have to commit to let's say a |
s | particular pack the beginning of the |
s | event every time you have a new Hunter |
s | they can choose which pact they want to |
s | pledge to as they earn their their marks |
s | their pledge marks and then basically |
s | make the choice in gameplay now every |
s | Hunter can have to up to four of those |
s | pledge marks carried on them so you can |
s | earn four of them and carry them on you |
s | however you can only ever get three of |
s | them at the same time in the mission |
s | right there's three opportunities and |
s | basically this is like the the ruler |
s | first so it's like the first time you |
s | have 35 event points in that particular |
s | Mission you get one of those patch marks |
s | or the first time when you banish like |
s | your first boss basically and when you |
s | first loot your first hunter that you |
s | kill either killed or found so um again |
s | this is about like collecting an |
s | exploration for the event points it's |
s | about banishing with displaying the |
s | objective and it's about the Dead hunter |
s | which is the PVP component similar to |
s | what we have with the event points as |
s | like the three pillars we also try to |
s | follow up here |
s | which means you can get up to three of |
s | these points however since you can carry |
s | up to four maybe you need to play more |
s | rounds in order to be able to actually |
s | get to to the maximum that Honda can |
s | have and what that is as an effect will |
s | give you we'll talk about it in a second |
s | exactly so as you said let's talk about |
s | this right now first of all how do you |
s | use the pledge marks that you collect |
s | yeah so um in the world we have our |
s | supply points and during these events |
s | they're a little bit different they're |
s | kind of like pledge posts |
s | um so you will find everything that the |
s | supply points constitute of it's normal |
s | like the ammunition and all of the stuff |
s | that you usually go for however in |
s | addition we have a couple of pledge |
s | boxes so it's like three of them uh one |
s | per packed and uh by interacting with |
s | them if the player owns one pledge mark |
s | on their Hunter if they already earned |
s | one pledge Mark they can initiate |
s | basically the pledge and commit |
s | themselves to one of the three factions |
s | yeah I mean while uh we are showing this |
s | on a video as yeah |
s | as you can see like it's the internal |
s | pledge turn for example then we have the |
s | the ground in the center and the lunar |
s | on the right hand side in this case |
s | we're just using the Luna one and uh |
s | pledge results as you can see on the top |
s | left |
s | um this is where it shows you that you |
s | have one out of four marks also |
s | important to understand here is that you |
s | do not consume the marks the benchmarks |
s | remain on the hunter they're just a |
s | token that you need to have in order to |
s | be able to pledge they're being used in |
s | different ways and that's what we talk |
s | about and as we go through the different |
s | rewards that the player gets now in |
s | addition to that okay I'm gonna show it |
s | one more time or okay yeah maybe I just |
s | have two videos let's let's get it again |
s | then |
s | so again you can see the three different |
s | pledge boxes at the supply areas like |
s | you're used to and then you can choose |
s | which pact you pledge to has done is |
s | mentioned |
s | and as you can see again as Danny said |
s | currently the player has won flash |
s | market so they could pledge uh to the |
s | whichever fraction uh whichever pack |
s | they wanted to pledge to in this case uh |
s | the lunar but the pledge Mark was not |
s | consumed during it |
s | exactly |
s | okay and uh before we look at the second |
s | video uh let's see like again how the |
s | amounts of pledge marks Works between |
s | Finance yeah so for the first Mark if |
s | you have one Mark and you do it you get |
s | one trade so each of the packs has two |
s | unique trades linked to them they're |
s | exclusive for this event |
s | and by pledging your your your first |
s | time there you can get this initial |
s | package trade however if you have maxed |
s | out your Hunter so if your Hunter is |
s | basically having earned four of those |
s | patch marks and has them on them you can |
s | also deepen your pledge and you can |
s | therefore like interact one more time |
s | with the pledge box and then get the |
s | second trade in addition so that way you |
s | have the chance to kind of maximize |
s | um as I mentioned before you can only |
s | get three um benchmarks permission so in |
s | order to get four the time they're |
s | definitely needs to survive at least one |
s | mission for you to be able to to benefit |
s | from this right and now take a look at |
s | the second video where we actually |
s | deepened the pledge of it the lunar |
s | packed |
s | this can we see like you are committed |
s | now to one pact so you cannot interact |
s | with the other ones for the second one |
s | if once you have made your choice with |
s | the initial pledge now you can only |
s | deepen with the same pact but you cannot |
s | switch packs |
s | yeah and the trades that we showed we |
s | will talk about that in a second so |
s | yeah why why don't we dive into the |
s | trades and let's see what pack gives you |
s | exactly what now that we've seen how you |
s | exactly pledge with it all right so |
s | actually if there are some notes to |
s | mention here first of all yes yes yes |
s | let's talk about that maybe first |
s | there's also |
s | um some legendary Hunters there they |
s | already made their choice and that's |
s | because they're connected to this by by |
s | the lower side right |
s | um so those Hunters um you will see them |
s | marked with a little icon there |
s | um basically uh in the legendary |
s | recruitment screen |
s | um if you record any of those Hunters |
s | you have to choose that particular pack |
s | for them you cannot choose the other |
s | ones it's just because by Story by by |
s | lower they are already basically aligned |
s | with one of those factions and that |
s | becomes also a bit clearer once we talk |
s | about the new legendary Hunters of this |
s | of this event |
s | yeah so here you can see that the |
s | redneck is a pleasure lunar by the Nike |
s | Accolade is to The Inferno packed |
s | already and as that is mentioned the a |
s | bunch of the legendaries will be |
s | pre-pleased to one of the packs already |
s | so you will see that when you're looking |
s | through uh the legendary Hunters menu |
s | yeah there's also one important Point |
s | here is that um if you play together |
s | with your friends you are not limited to |
s | just one particular pact in your lobby |
s | you can still mix them you can still |
s | have them it's just personally these |
s | Hunters have pledged to one of the |
s | particular pacts that doesn't mean that |
s | all of the old relationships can be |
s | broken down they can still form like |
s | alliances play together Etc however they |
s | obviously only benefit from the traits |
s | of their respective Pact |
s | awesome uh and yeah for with that we |
s | actually got to the trades and uh we're |
s | starting off with the infernal packed uh |
s | and each as Dennis already mentioned |
s | each pack has two traits one for uh with |
s | the one pledge Mark you can acquire it |
s | and uh the other one you connect fire |
s | with four |
s | and you deepen your plush to the same |
s | pact exactly so let's talk about the |
s | First Rate then so with one pledge Mark |
s | um Inferno gives you the trade called |
s | fire eater so what fire eater does is |
s | that in exchange for one pledge Mark |
s | when a health chunk is burned away it is |
s | instead instantly restored so that |
s | basically means that infernals all |
s | around the theme of fire and what it |
s | what it gives you as you can already |
s | from description is the ability to |
s | protect yourself from fire so for |
s | example you get down someone Burns you |
s | as long as you have marks on you you can |
s | kind of like keep on going because it |
s | will kind of restored it just burned out |
s | and lost chunk for the cost of one of |
s | those marks so you can kind of keep |
s | going for a bit longer it's also very |
s | interesting as you move around fire |
s | because obviously it doesn't make it as |
s | punishing once the chunk is gone to kind |
s | of keep on going it also tops up the |
s | help always to whatever chunks you have |
s | left so obviously if you got down before |
s | it doesn't restore these type of chunks |
s | but whatever you lose from fire you will |
s | be able to get back as you can see here |
s | the stem like emulator here |
s | like basically normally that emulator |
s | would have completely burned away that |
s | chunk but since you had a mark and even |
s | had two marks it could do it two times |
s | you had a chance to get that chunk |
s | restored if you lose it through fire |
s | that is |
s | also don't uh have your neck on life |
s | team |
s | let's just take a class more quickly it |
s | instantly restarts that's one chunk and |
s | the S10 is that you did lose one pledge |
s | Mark and now you will lose the other one |
s | as well instantly yeah like that it even |
s | goes with the last chunk that you have |
s | so as long as you have marks you keep on |
s | going so that's very interesting with |
s | with infernal like being all around the |
s | fire like it makes fire something you |
s | feel way less than normal and gives you |
s | keep a couple opportunities you can even |
s | use this like by kind of like even |
s | intentionally burning away some of your |
s | some of your your your health that way |
s | because as it also refills the health it |
s | gives you a chance that if you're out of |
s | medkit charge just to just like quickly |
s | burn one away and get everything |
s | restored again as long as you have marks |
s | once you're out of fetch marks the |
s | normal rules apply in the trade |
s | deactivates |
s | yeah you could actually see it in this |
s | video exactly as you talked about it so |
s | the player had won a pledge mark it |
s | expired uh like he used it and then the |
s | second held burned away because there |
s | was no nothing left |
s | yeah so always watch out how many marks |
s | you have and obviously keep in mind that |
s | acquiring new marks might be a bit of a |
s | process that takes some time so you need |
s | to plan for it like don't don't waste |
s | your marks be careful ideally it's all |
s | best to not just lose anything to Fire |
s | and the main reason why that is we talk |
s | about now with the second trade |
s | which is flame touched |
s | so with flame touched again this is when |
s | if you deepen your pledge if you have |
s | four pledge marks on your Hunter |
s | um you can't even catch fire at all |
s | anymore so it's like a more extreme |
s | version of of what we've seen before so |
s | all about fire |
s | um that means that it's gonna take a lot |
s | longer for for you losing any sorts of |
s | chunks too far just as a glimmer it does |
s | a bit of charcoaling but you do not |
s | catch fire so uh interesting part here |
s | is that you can just walk through fire |
s | completely are molested for quite some |
s | time until the chunk would have been |
s | normally like charcoal like completely |
s | filled up with charcoal and then lost |
s | however you will never ever catch fire |
s | and that is actually very strong trade |
s | however the moment you lose a single |
s | mark you no longer have four and as such |
s | that trait deactivates so you have to be |
s | at the maximum with your Hunter you have |
s | to keep him at four pledge marks to |
s | benefit from this |
s | yeah I mean while I put on the video so |
s | they can see how it actually looks in |
s | game |
s | you can see the four pledge marks |
s | available and the player not catching a |
s | fire in the fire |
s | so can I see like the glimmer is still |
s | there right it still eats away your |
s | health slowly but it doesn't set you on |
s | fire |
s | correct and Dennis what would happen if |
s | one chunk was lost here then there will |
s | be one pledge more consumed and then |
s | yeah so so if if you are losing |
s | um the chunk |
s | um then the first trade |
s | um kicks in right and a Death Eater then |
s | takes away one of your marks to restore |
s | that chunk but in doing so it also means |
s | you no longer have the four pledge marks |
s | that you need to have flame touch active |
s | so the flame touch bonus only is active |
s | for that very first protection level |
s | anything beyond that you basically can |
s | catch fire again as flame touched is no |
s | longer there it's basically deactivating |
s | and remains deactivated until you have |
s | again four benchmarks so it's in your |
s | own interest to keep your Hunter always |
s | topped up at the four four pledge marks |
s | to get the man like the maximum benefit |
s | that you can get here |
s | yeah awesome so that's uh that's it for |
s | the infernal fraction and uh packed and |
s | we will talk about uh |
s | The Inferno a bit later and uh I feel |
s | like uh The Inferno pack is really good |
s | during that fight card condition but |
s | we'll get back to that a bit but let's |
s | talk about uh our lunar traits |
s | yeah so the the second uh packed lunar |
s | um we talked about like it's more about |
s | healing it's about restoration so their |
s | trades can reflected as well |
s | um let's talk about the first one um |
s | Relentless which you also get |
s | um the access to pledge then to to the |
s | lunar pact if you have one Mark |
s | um and the interesting part here is that |
s | it takes away all of your marks that you |
s | have so it doesn't matter if it's one |
s | two three or four whenever this this |
s | trade is active it loses all of them |
s | um however in doing so when you get down |
s | just do not lose the chunk that you |
s | would normally lose so that's a very big |
s | one because it basically means that as |
s | long as you have a mark you can get down |
s | once takes away all of your marks and |
s | then in the process but your partner can |
s | pick you up basically without you |
s | suffering the penalty so you still have |
s | basically 150 or whatever like Health |
s | points you had before you go down so |
s | this is going to be a very very strong |
s | one but since it takes away we all of |
s | your marks also there's a huge tax on it |
s | and you usually in practice means you |
s | can only do this once in a fight and |
s | then you would need to get first a new |
s | Mark somewhere before you can use the |
s | benefit again |
s | you can also see like in the video when |
s | a hunter is being hit and he has a mark |
s | like his little see like a little |
s | particle effect there that kind of tells |
s | them okay well the Mark has just been |
s | basically consumed in the process so |
s | that's just for a bit of readability |
s | that you also understand if someone else |
s | has it so I think that's a good point to |
s | actually show that how that also looks |
s | in first person because we actually have |
s | a video for that so this is what you |
s | would see when you are using Apple |
s | pledge mark |
s | yeah there's also like obviously the |
s | audio you guys probably hear I don't |
s | hear it uh right now |
s | um and it kind of gives you that |
s | readability and you can see like the |
s | icon on the top left kind of like going |
s | uh reducing by one from two to one and |
s | two zero so it's just a debug just to |
s | show you like how this effect would look |
s | um but uh part of this whole readability |
s | and you see this in first person and |
s | then third person |
s | so yeah Luna is all about health it's |
s | all about restoration and I think that |
s | one is kind of quite nice for players |
s | who just want to be playing aggressive |
s | Etc because they can take it one down |
s | without a significant uh drawback yet |
s | however then subsequent ones obviously |
s | as you don't have any marks in practice |
s | most of the time at this point |
s | um uh they will just take away the |
s | chunks as usual |
s | okay but let's talk about uh indomitable |
s | which is also really cool and builds off |
s | on this idea as well so what does that |
s | do Dennis sorry dominable second trait |
s | that you get for deepening The Pledge |
s | with lunar |
s | um is basically similar to what a |
s | regeneration shot does so while this is |
s | active it basically means that Health |
s | regiments continuously across chunks |
s | um there's difference however to a high |
s | regeneration shot works a regeneration |
s | shot as you know like it has an instant |
s | effect so the moment the moment you |
s | basically take damage it starts |
s | regenerating however it only does so at |
s | half the speed of normal regeneration |
s | in turn indomitable still has the same |
s | delay before even a duration starts |
s | however it does so at the normal speed |
s | so if you manage to maintain four patch |
s | marks on your Hunter so you cannot get |
s | down because then you lose all of them |
s | which also then shuts down indomitable |
s | but while you have four patch marks in |
s | your Hunter you will have this |
s | additional effect and that makes it |
s | really interesting it doesn't really |
s | stack with regeneration |
s | because regeneration kind of still |
s | overwrites it so I guess in practice |
s | what that means is that if you are |
s | having a hunter on a lunar trade |
s | um like that the can I attach to to like |
s | the the lunar pact you probably don't |
s | want to bring a regeneration shot |
s | because it kind of does like a small |
s | variant of what now indomitable does for |
s | you however the moment you lose uh any |
s | of the marks in this case you would lose |
s | all of them by Relentless uh kicking in |
s | uh you also Lose That Power from |
s | indomitable until again you have four |
s | pledge marks so maintaining those four |
s | marks keeping you Hunter at the peak |
s | again on that trade side also very |
s | important that sounds great and I like |
s | how it's like kind of opposed how the |
s | trades work uh to The Infernal practice |
s | file so you know this is really all |
s | about healing while the other was all |
s | about burning in Hell On Fire so it's |
s | awesome uh but we do have a third pact |
s | as well as you mentioned earlier the |
s | grounded so let's look at those trades |
s | and one of this is my favorite actually |
s | from the event so let's look at the |
s | first one for uh one place mark |
s | um so death cheat that is uh the first |
s | one so as you can see the ground that |
s | already does things a bit differently |
s | it's more wild card is it's more like |
s | neutral unaligned and Dev cheat is |
s | basically that for exchange of all of |
s | his pledge marks so similar what we just |
s | talked about with a Relentless uh for |
s | lunar it takes away all of your marks uh |
s | when you completely lose your Hunter |
s | however your Hunter is not lost in that |
s | time he still loses all of the gear He |
s | Still Remains at the whatever few health |
s | chunks you had left at this point so so |
s | it still cost you you will not just get |
s | your get your guy out with everything |
s | however the hunter itself himself like |
s | or herself the hunter will stay alive |
s | which means you can still maybe grind |
s | continue to grind for the trades get him |
s | to level 50 Etc |
s | um however again when when used all of |
s | your marks have been consumed which |
s | means to get this benefit again you |
s | first need to at least get one more Mark |
s | in the mission so there's always a risk |
s | that's the beginning of the next round |
s | if you do not manage to kind of like |
s | maintain your protection by just getting |
s | another pledge Mark to make the [ __ ] |
s | active again you will still lose your |
s | Hunter so it's not guaranteed but what |
s | we like about this one is that it gives |
s | you a chick a chance to just be a bit |
s | more aggressive be a bit more a bit more |
s | risky like um specifically if maybe 100 |
s | years Contraband or some somebody cheap |
s | gear on you that you can okay with |
s | losing but but you don't want to lose |
s | the hunter you can still maybe do that |
s | Porsche you can still maybe do do some |
s | aggressive play because at least you |
s | know that hunter in a very wounded State |
s | he wants totally available for you in |
s | the roster when you come back right and |
s | I know some people really struggle with |
s | getting the five level 50 Hunters |
s | achievement so guys yeah yeah exactly so |
s | uh it's not easy to get a level 50 out |
s | there but here's your chance so don't |
s | miss out on this one but let's talk |
s | about my favorite uh trade actually |
s | which is uh the second uh the deep and |
s | pledge trade for the grounded action |
s | yeah it's got Shadow the shadow so |
s | Shadow does things also very differently |
s | um and if you have those four pleasure |
s | marks again you can already start seeing |
s | a pattern here but like across the |
s | different packs right with the second |
s | one always requiring you to have the |
s | four |
s | um monsters like so you're basic yeah |
s | and the walls they will not be able to |
s | attack you anymore so that makes you |
s | very very very strong being able to just |
s | walk around them however there's there |
s | is a catch that they will still hear you |
s | so they will still get stared up uh by |
s | footsteps you make or by shooting you do |
s | Etc so it will still take a bit of |
s | effort gonna move through compound and |
s | detect it so if you want to sneak up |
s | that AI might still just go crazy they |
s | will not have you as a Target they don't |
s | see you they don't know you're there |
s | you're basically in in them in their |
s | like psychic Shadow or whatever you want |
s | to call it |
s | um however |
s | um anyone else they might still get |
s | stared up by that's that's Hive going |
s | aggro or by that armor going aggro so |
s | you still want to be careful around it |
s | at least you don't have to fear much |
s | from while you have your four or four |
s | benchmarks however again once once you |
s | get killed and you lose your pleasure |
s | marks again this trade also shuts down |
s | so you want to make sure you maintain |
s | those four marks and after having used |
s | for example Dev cheat and lost all your |
s | marks to save your Hunter you now need |
s | to again first get four benchmarks |
s | before you can benefit from Shadow again |
s | yeah it's important to know that it does |
s | not affect bosses though so just the |
s | regular monsters yeah but bosses are too |
s | smart they see through the shirt right |
s | yes it's like the basic basic monsters |
s | so this is very interesting obviously |
s | like if you're like a solo player |
s | um because what you can do now is uh |
s | without having to rely on whatever your |
s | teammates have chosen as their as their |
s | packed uh you can kind of like move |
s | around get that clue like we see all |
s | also very interesting like maybe even |
s | being able to disengage from a group of |
s | hunters chasing you right like you can |
s | actually take shelter uh amongst |
s | hellhounds now well they have to kind of |
s | fight them the challenge might just get |
s | stirred up right now just go go wrong |
s | crazy looking for a Target but you can |
s | just keep on pushing through but the |
s | guy's chasing you they will have to deal |
s | with them now so any sorts of like a |
s | fresh compound where there's plenty of |
s | AI around you can kind of use that as a |
s | buffer to kind of get some distance |
s | between you and your first years |
s | yeah so I mean while I was playing some |
s | examples of a fifth and it's really cool |
s | how you can just sneak around all the AI |
s | so Dennis what I've seen someone asking |
s | what happens if the AI hears you but uh |
s | can they still attack you or just follow |
s | you they would just be Stir It Up so for |
s | example there might be those grants |
s | sitting or lying on the floor right so |
s | someone was just asking and chat like so |
s | why are you still crouching because of |
s | the footstep noise you make like if you |
s | don't want the AI to react to you at all |
s | you still would like to kind of like be |
s | careful about how much noise you make |
s | um in the end of the day if you make the |
s | noise it doesn't really matter because |
s | they will not be able to attack you but |
s | that other Hunter they might have still |
s | heard the AI like cry out and might |
s | still assume that you are around and |
s | that might be to your disadvantage |
s | this yes that sounds really awesome and |
s | uh yeah this is the last video and it |
s | will be so good with how hands then it's |
s | like |
s | I I'm excited |
s | I can see here like like that that |
s | grunts it's like looking who what's |
s | going on that they heard the noise right |
s | but they can't really make you a Target |
s | and uh you can move around but again |
s | someone else might still have heard them |
s | right so it's a bit like having like an |
s | invisibility cloak I guess so they can |
s | hear you but exactly you might still |
s | make some noise and draw attention but |
s | at least they will not be able to do |
s | something about you |
s | awesome okay so that is our uh packed |
s | traits for each uh pact but we do have |
s | some additional trades uh that will |
s | affect all packs as well so let's talk |
s | about those uh it's one for each pack |
s | actually so let's take a look at those |
s | yeah so these are all existing trades |
s | and uh similar to what we've done in the |
s | last events we've kind of added a bit of |
s | conditional additional bonuses to them |
s | so as you are then using these trades |
s | and obviously of course no doesn't |
s | matter what what package your pledge you |
s | can still obviously take all of these |
s | trades it's just that you would not you |
s | will only get the additional conditional |
s | bonus effect if you are of that |
s | particular |
s | pact so for uh infernal it's self skin |
s | and what it does is that if you are in |
s | if you have an infernal pledge Thunder |
s | it increases the Regeneration speed of |
s | partially burned Health chunks further |
s | so that means it actually recovers from |
s | charcoaling at a much faster speed |
s | for everybody else who's infernal |
s | whether they're unpleased or whether |
s | they're pledged to Luna or to ground it |
s | it does have the normal effect it's just |
s | a little bit better for those who have |
s | infernal |
s | um as you recover from the burning |
s | damage a bit better and it works very |
s | well with the other traits as well uh |
s | and then you mentioned lunar so let's |
s | take a look at lunar |
s | yeah for the lunar pact we chose |
s | resilience which again goes with the |
s | soul healing theme and the idea here is |
s | that where normally your revived with up |
s | to 100 HP if you are of the lunar pact |
s | your hunter gets full HP so whatever |
s | chunks you have left they will be filled |
s | up as you get back up so theoretically |
s | up to 125 or if you if you're even have |
s | the advantage of the lunar like |
s | Relentless trade for example you might |
s | get a picked up with 150 h-pawns |
s | that's awesome |
s | again very Healy very cool and the |
s | ground that is the last fall and the I |
s | know people were very excited about this |
s | because this was shown in one of our |
s | videos so let's talk about Necromancer |
s | yeah so we chose Necromancer for this |
s | one and the gear here is that we wanted |
s | to do something which is only for solo |
s | players so that was important for us to |
s | try to try this out and uh what we've |
s | chosen is that if you are a solo player |
s | and you do have Necromancer which |
s | normally you really don't equip as a |
s | solo player but now it says chance to |
s | actually do that |
s | um you can self-revive now this follows |
s | the same rules as normal revive does |
s | which means you kind of lose your health |
s | chunk and you cannot combine this with |
s | the lunar pact as it's grounded specific |
s | right so you don't have any of these |
s | advantages like not losing your health |
s | junk went down so all of these normal |
s | rules apply |
s | um and uh when you're on the dev screen |
s | there's going to be a little countdown |
s | and after that it's over you can press |
s | the button to self-revive yourself now |
s | if you have been set on fire you will |
s | continue to burn or obviously as you're |
s | down if someone put like traps on your |
s | your trigger those traps is a Stamper |
s | all the normal rules apply |
s | but it does give solo players |
s | specifically a chance to kind of come |
s | back from an unexpected angle and uh in |
s | theory at least have like a second or |
s | third goal as you can see with a |
s | meathead we're assuming quite quite a |
s | few of your of your of your chunks |
s | um |
s | um it is a questionable a practical |
s | effect but the theory is there and the |
s | potential is there and that's the most |
s | important part a good team well just to |
s | make sure that you will not make it up |
s | like they will set you on fire or they |
s | will trap you or just somehow ensure |
s | that you cannot just come back from an |
s | unexpected angle but you do have a |
s | chance to do this now so it's not going |
s | to be a guaranteed revive however |
s | there's a chance and I think more often |
s | than not you might find the unexpected |
s | team having moved on uh just assuming |
s | you're just that solo guy so this will |
s | be very interesting for us to see how |
s | this plays out we talked about in the |
s | beginning about like using this this |
s | event also for experimentation this is |
s | one of such experiments we want to do |
s | see a little bit about how can we give |
s | some love to like solo players and |
s | actually see how powerful maybe too |
s | powerful maybe too weak this is going to |
s | be and just very excited to see how this |
s | all plays out exactly I think it's uh |
s | you mentioned it when you started |
s | talking about the Necromancer but it's a |
s | really weird highlighting that obviously |
s | a solo player until now couldn't use the |
s | trade at all about when you're playing |
s | with a team you could always revive your |
s | teammates so uh it's kind of an |
s | equivalent of that but for yourself now |
s | so I think that was like really worth |
s | highlighting but again obviously we're |
s | always looking for a feedback uh and uh |
s | events are as Daddy's mentioned the |
s | great experimentation grant for us too |
s | so about all the trades and all the |
s | changes like leave us your feedback and |
s | uh obviously we look at the data look at |
s | what you have you guys feel about it and |
s | we may make changes based on that in the |
s | future |
s | exactly for the moment it's anyways just |
s | for this event |
s | and we'll be retired after the event is |
s | over just like all the other things so |
s | it's it's really important for us that |
s | we can kind of use these events for |
s | trying things out trying new mechanics |
s | out and this is one of the ones we were |
s | really excited about |
s | awesome and I think with that we uh went |
s | through all the pledge trades and pact |
s | and the additional trades as well and uh |
s | we arrived to the weapons segment which |
s | will be Simon's time to shine and talk |
s | about all the new weapons this is where |
s | the film begins yeah so uh uh just to uh |
s | uh talk about it a bit we obviously |
s | shown some videos where you could |
s | already see uh some of the new weapons |
s | so you already have a few hints about |
s | these but uh now we will go through how |
s | they work show you how the reloads work |
s | how the what the customer Simon will |
s | tell you all about them so let's start |
s | so the event weapons are currently |
s | inside of the event progression of the |
s | devil's moon event so they're unlocked |
s | by progressing inside of the battle pass |
s | but after the event they will become |
s | part of the regular weapon progression |
s | or bloodline progression so yeah |
s | awesome and uh yeah so with that being |
s | said let's start with the Craig rifle or |
s | Springfield |
s | m1892 Craig which is the new long ammo |
s | rifle yeah the new uh glamor bolt action |
s | rifle uh so the Crag is a a new long |
s | ammo rifle we're adding to the game it |
s | has an ammo or a count of five at the |
s | internal magazine and one inside of the |
s | chamber and then an extra Six Bullets as |
s | well |
s | uh it has a fast rate of fire and a good |
s | reload speed so it's pretty much an |
s | all-around very good performing weapon |
s | but that comes at the cost of uh lower |
s | damage |
s | and in terms of custom ammo we have |
s | incendiary ammo and FMJ so yeah |
s | yeah so let's take a look at it and |
s | while we are watching the videos you can |
s | tell tell a bit about them in more |
s | detail what you're seeing so this is |
s | just a little cinematic |
s | at least we get to see how beautiful it |
s | looks |
s | yeah did a great job |
s | just like the the weapons as a package |
s | though it's amazing like art guys making |
s | awesome models that animators bring in |
s | this whole thing like breathing life |
s | into it audio on top like Punchy sounds |
s | uh it's I always love it when it comes |
s | together like that |
s | yes beautiful and but let's look at the |
s | technical video which Simon actually |
s | recorded for us so what do we see |
s | so it's a very very fast firing weapon |
s | as you can see |
s | um |
s | and the reload is also quite handy |
s | because you can reload multiple bullets |
s | at the same time because of the Crags |
s | design |
s | and of course this comes at the |
s | advantage of uh not requiring public |
s | rubber |
s | yeah I really like that while it is a |
s | bolt action rifle it still has kind of a |
s | separate chamber because of this like uh |
s | reload mechanism that can actually even |
s | from the side from underneath |
s | um so you still need to cycle once kind |
s | of like similar to like a leather gun or |
s | so like kind of like chamber one in the |
s | in the actual yeah put the One in the |
s | Chamber basically yeah and meanwhile |
s | obviously uh the stream can't hear the |
s | gun as well you guys can so let me just |
s | turn it up a bit so they can listen to |
s | it a bit more because I turn it down a |
s | bit while you were attacking |
s | [Applause] |
s | thank you |
s | all right uh everyone's saying it sounds |
s | great so I have to agree I love it |
s | it's good |
s | I mean the the lower damages I guess |
s | like the one compensating thing here |
s | right so otherwise it's a fast reload |
s | weapon uh it has a faster rate of fire |
s | it's a long ammo so why why not always |
s | take this one I think the lower damage |
s | is where the answer this one lies |
s | because it actually is the weakest of |
s | the long ammo rifles obviously benefits |
s | from the flat trajectory in terms of |
s | like damage drop Etc keeps damage for |
s | quite a long distance |
s | um it does have over lower damage which |
s | means it's going to be harder for |
s | example to bring someone down for |
s | example if they have 125 hit points like |
s | as something right so depending on the |
s | day on the distance Etc I like this |
s | weapon might become uh like a bit less |
s | reliable maybe compared to let's say |
s | like a label or or mozina Gand but it |
s | does make up for it with the awesome |
s | reload and the high rate of fire |
s | and the Simon I actually seen some |
s | question asking about the reload because |
s | it was quite different than previous |
s | weapons so what happens with partial |
s | reloads and uh how does it exactly |
s | explain it a bit further so basically |
s | the hunter will try to put in three |
s | bullets uh at first and if he can't he |
s | will put in two and if he can't put in |
s | two he will put in one so basically it's |
s | in that order he will try to top up as |
s | many as he can in the first initial pass |
s | but if if he can't he will pick a |
s | different animation basically okay so |
s | there's multiple animations |
s | depending on your account you have it |
s | will pick a different animation |
s | okay really cool and uh yeah I can't |
s | wait for everyone to try it uh during |
s | the event which starts tomorrow so uh I |
s | gotta let us know how you feel about it |
s | but uh I personally love it it's amazing |
s | but that's not the only thing uh if |
s | you're I think this event there's a lot |
s | more so what is next |
s | let's talk about the lumos Market to |
s | carbine yeah so the LA map Mark II |
s | carbine is a full-sized variant of the |
s | lamat pistol and comes with the |
s | advantage of having slightly increased |
s | overall stats compared to the base |
s | variant |
s | um but it also has now a medium barrel |
s | shotgun shot because of this |
s | modification uh being a carbine and then |
s | as well you have a slightly longer |
s | reload time because the weapon is bigger |
s | to handle so you will take more time to |
s | perform the actions you did before |
s | cool and uh so what do we exactly mean |
s | with like slightly increased over our |
s | stats and what about the medium shotgun |
s | shot so in general you have a bigger uh |
s | or like effective range and in as well |
s | the sway is lessened and you have |
s | overall more accurate shots |
s | and a slightly faster fire rate |
s | or something yeah meanwhile let's take a |
s | look at the little cinematic video again |
s | from our awesome creative Services team |
s | so beautiful |
s | although somehow my gun is never this |
s | clean in game |
s | and how about the shotgun uh what what |
s | does it compare to yeah so a big |
s | important part here is that I've also |
s | seen in questions already is is this as |
s | strong as the Romero and this is not the |
s | case it's more akin to a shotgun around |
s | from a Caldwell rival uh basically |
s | foreign |
s | Up the Volume a bit now so we can listen |
s | to the Sun |
s | you can have it just a long reload so it |
s | is a quite uh similar to the regular |
s | llamas right yeah it's it's very much if |
s | you're on the map and you'll feel right |
s | at home and then as well if you're a fan |
s | of the Negan carbine this will also be a |
s | weapon for you but you have more utility |
s | because of the the shotgun mode as well |
s | it's a very flexible weapon so why it |
s | doesn't fire as fast as the offensive |
s | carbine does it does have the shotgun |
s | going for a Tesla as a secondary and |
s | obviously also has more rounds per shot |
s | uh like per jump per reload and I think |
s | just a combination of it makes it a very |
s | reliable weapon like you don't need any |
s | bigger trades for it it just works out |
s | of the box and gives you a good |
s | all-round thing for pushing for combats |
s | like it's basically just a little bit |
s | better than the pistol overall except |
s | for the reload it's just a little bit |
s | slower but again everything is going to |
s | be close to that but like you have a |
s | much more stable firing platform uh you |
s | have it's not like slightly faster rate |
s | of fires slightly faster |
s | um like just like overall handling of it |
s | and I think that's that really shows |
s | it's a good weapon to base a load it |
s | around |
s | uh awesome I see a lot of hype about in |
s | the chat already and even when we teased |
s | it a lot of people were hyped about it |
s | but I think the next weapon is the |
s | actual one that received the most hype |
s | so uh why don't they take a look at the |
s | new Martin Henry iron side |
s | okay so this is a new variant for the |
s | martini are inside it makes the martini |
s | in a makeshift repeating rifle |
s | um |
s | and it basically adds a big external |
s | magazine to the side of the martini and |
s | this device then gets operated by the |
s | lever to get new rounds into the chamber |
s | but this comes at the downside of having |
s | a an obstructive field of view because |
s | you have this external magazine attached |
s | to the left side of your screen |
s | but a big part but we want to have was |
s | to remain or keep this weapon in ads |
s | while you're shooting because of that |
s | box basically obstructing so much of |
s | your field of view |
s | yeah so it actually has a pretty high |
s | rate of fire when you just keep on |
s | firing from ads and considering that the |
s | the martini Henry is one of the |
s | strongest cartridges |
s | um like |
s | um next selector that just Sparks the |
s | Nitro this one actually hits quite hard |
s | but just like to follow up shots quickly |
s | with this one as long as you have a |
s | target's in sight don't lose them |
s | because it's going to be very hard to |
s | require them with a big blocky piece on |
s | the left basically there's iron on the |
s | side |
s | so it has its downsides but it's |
s | something that we really wanted to add |
s | to the game because this like the first |
s | time we saw this one uh like a while |
s | back uh and then here like obviously |
s | shout outs to Jonathan Ferguson for for |
s | showcasing this one one of his streams |
s | amazing weapon if we so thought this |
s | would be a fitting thing for the game |
s | hope we have been showing it and |
s | replicating it well enough for you sure |
s | let's hope so |
s | uh but of course uh the Fast Fire rate |
s | comes at a cost in terms of reload speed |
s | it's very much clunky like the Alamo in |
s | that sense |
s | the reload because it is quite special |
s | so how does that work yeah so the reload |
s | what it basically does is the hunter |
s | pulls down the Magazine spring and then |
s | starts to put in rounds uh one by one |
s | but we had the opportunity here to |
s | create unique animations for each round |
s | which adds some more flavor |
s | and then if your mag is fully filled up |
s | you can release the uh or close the top |
s | gate and release the Magazine spring |
s | from its locked position |
s | this is super cool and let me just turn |
s | up the volume so they can hear the sound |
s | although it's a martini |
s | and one important part to mention here |
s | as well is the martini still keeps its |
s | uh recoil of course but it's a little |
s | bit different because of this big Iron |
s | Block on the side |
s | so |
s | yeah I think it's really very very |
s | fitting to hunt to be honest it is very |
s | makeshift like with the big uh iron on |
s | the side literally it's uh crazy but |
s | amazing |
s | you can kind of see why this never like |
s | really caught on right that's a thing |
s | that that was properly adopted uh it's |
s | an interesting thing like this is so |
s | typical for for like the time the tent |
s | is set in like this turn of the century |
s | where you still have like like these new |
s | weapon Concepts and like problems still |
s | needing to be solved like how can we |
s | fire more than one route at a time and |
s | it's interesting to see like people love |
s | that time have come up with different |
s | solutions and while they're workable |
s | they're probably not very practical |
s | think it's dirty very quickly like might |
s | fail so obviously like the evolution to |
s | the proper like uh internal magazine |
s | repeating Rivals uh was was uh what then |
s | took place but it's still it's like this |
s | this thing just like like it feels like |
s | hand all over it right like written over |
s | it it feels like it's very very much |
s | fitting too like Hunters going modifying |
s | the weapons to solve these problems that |
s | they're encounter fighting these |
s | monsters in the swamps in their own way |
s | I see a lot of questions about Levering |
s | could you guys tell us about that so |
s | because this rifle is not really a make |
s | it's a makeshift repeating rifle so we |
s | didn't treat it as a regular repeating |
s | rifle in this sense so we didn't opt to |
s | add Levering uh here basically |
s | I think like the moment you would kind |
s | of tilt this weapon a little bit too |
s | much to decide yeah |
s | let them feed properly it's a very uh |
s | sensitive device so you can't really do |
s | that |
s | thank you for asking that I I've seen |
s | like hundreds of people asking it so |
s | perfect and uh that is not all though we |
s | still have one more a new weapon variant |
s | which is the Centennial trauma |
s | so the Centennial trauma is a new |
s | Centennial variant uh and it has a |
s | reinforced stock to Aid in melee combat |
s | and it deals plant damage similar to a |
s | sledgehammer so you can kill emulators |
s | in one shot because of this stock uh The |
s | Recoil is slightly increased but very |
s | slightly |
s | so it basically follows the same rules |
s | as the talons do by imitating a what X |
s | or Combat X and this one the same for |
s | the sledgehammer |
s | also very Hunty again |
s | crazy |
s | uh let's take a look at a video where we |
s | actually uh fight an emulator with it so |
s | oink |
s | that works |
s | awesome |
s | yeah so I guess it's very similar to the |
s | Centennial but it indeed can cause a lot |
s | of uh blunt made it I mean so maybe good |
s | against some bosses as well |
s | uh it's like like the advantage the |
s | talents always brought was like that you |
s | get like this always because we changed |
s | it recently but like what they do give |
s | you now is that you don't have to rely |
s | on let's say a a Walt item like like an |
s | ax or a hammer lying nearby for the boss |
s | um so for example for scrap big very |
s | useful and hear the same thing you can |
s | just bring that one and basically gives |
s | you like at least that hammer you can |
s | kind of get started on the boss right |
s | away you don't have to look for anything |
s | obviously stamina is different but if |
s | you don't combine let's say with a |
s | stamina shot you don't have the problem |
s | at all so it's a very reliable thing |
s | uh really cool stuff and uh I think |
s | that's |
s | about the new weapons and variants with |
s | the event which is quite a lot to be |
s | honest so a lot of new uh things and |
s | tools and weapons to play around with uh |
s | in Your Arsenal but uh we also have some |
s | interesting new custom ammo uh which is |
s | quite a crazy one I must say so |
s | so yeah let's stop at the bomblands |
s | right so first time we're introducing |
s | custom ammo for the bomblands and this |
s | one is going to be very interesting |
s | because it just opens up a different |
s | like a different set of options for the |
s | players how they want to use the one |
s | plans for that so um yeah let's get into |
s | it |
s | the first one we have are the steel |
s | balls and so think of them as basically |
s | a type of shotgun shot |
s | um that's kind of like launch out I mean |
s | the whole thing is spring powered right |
s | so just kind of launch those out to the |
s | front |
s | and uh just to kind of burst spread out |
s | just similar to what you would expect |
s | for example from penny shot and giving |
s | you like a bit of a One-Shot low yield |
s | shotgun shot |
s | um available uh to kind of like initiate |
s | combat and then kind of push after that |
s | one there's one drawback though is that |
s | these steel balls don't don't punch |
s | through walls um so similar penny shot |
s | uh you can't use that to wall Bank |
s | um but it does give players just like a |
s | chance kind of like before they're |
s | charging just kind of like set that set |
s | there were still balls into the room |
s | quickly and uh maybe do some some |
s | pre-damaged or even like knock down that |
s | Hive whatever is getting to you without |
s | having to spend the the explosive |
s | charges that they normally would have |
s | so yeah the poor Tower gets it again |
s | always |
s | let me add some volume so they can |
s | listen to it |
s | so like another reload as you as you've |
s | seen and the whole thing is spring |
s | loaded |
s | it's really cool to see how the remote |
s | works actually I think |
s | like this is one of the advantages this |
s | one has because it technically is a |
s | silent shotgun shot right because the |
s | only thing you hear is what mechanically |
s | you hear from the bomb plants and you |
s | guys know about how far are the bomb |
s | plants usually can be heard like with |
s | the projectile so this is nothing which |
s | carries across compounds so |
s | gives also a chance to kind of like use |
s | it without drawing too much attention |
s | here's an example on a grant as well |
s | let me turn up the volume again |
s | the range is kind of similar to to some |
s | of the medium shotguns but I mean it |
s | works a little bit differently it's not |
s | a shotgun it just works similar to a |
s | Shotgun by just propelling these two |
s | balls out but you get like a similar |
s | effect on target so play with it try it |
s | out get used to it |
s | um and it will kind of like like all the |
s | other shotguns fall in place eventually |
s | with your perception mode where to use |
s | it when not to use it |
s | some someone else is it more like a |
s | projectile or more like uh like a |
s | shotgun would be uh it is it is it is |
s | simulated as a shotgun so like it's it's |
s | it basically fires multiple multiple |
s | pellets or balls in this case in the |
s | cone out with a random spread and uh |
s | then yeah whatever you hit it kind of |
s | like balances against the shotgun |
s | multipliers also so you can't do easy |
s | headshots with it it works similar to |
s | what a shotgun does |
s | awesome uh but that's not the only one |
s | we did also at dragon breath uh for the |
s | problems |
s | so obviously that's similar to other |
s | previous dragon breath uh I mentioned in |
s | shotguns as well yeah like like this one |
s | is rather straightforward to explain you |
s | even see like little dragon breath shell |
s | sitting inside that container there |
s | right like the dart that's being fired |
s | out it kind of doesn't degrades and then |
s | it kind of falls apart to the side so |
s | you can select the debris falling off |
s | the left and right as it leaves the |
s | housing um and then basically it just |
s | kept like this this um this dragon flame |
s | uh breath shot like this burst of flame |
s | kind of like projecting outwards from |
s | the bomb plants to the front so similar |
s | or almost exact like you would expect |
s | from a dragon breath shot from a shotgun |
s | now the advantage here obviously is you |
s | can set someone on fire uh you can maybe |
s | uh while you're charging you can set |
s | that one barrel or make that explode set |
s | it on fire so it gives you this |
s | flexibility and the range obviously as |
s | you know from from dragon breath is |
s | quite decent compared to shotguns as |
s | well |
s | um so uh yeah it's not gonna there to |
s | kill people very likely but it can set |
s | up the the foundation for a good charge |
s | here we just have a picture of like |
s | comparing the different uh |
s | types of pom balance customer memo one |
s | picture looks quite cool |
s | and I actually really like how the |
s | reloads are because you can see uh See |
s | the specific uh let's let's cut the ball |
s | to charge being loaded was like just |
s | very cool uh but we also have some more |
s | customers obviously this was like the |
s | really special one I think uh uh but |
s | let's talk about the other ones very |
s | quickly |
s | so he yeah go go ahead no I just wanted |
s | to say the regular Springfield so uh it |
s | is not the crack but the regular |
s | Springfield not guess poison anymore |
s | yeah so something that makes it a bit |
s | more easily available people have been |
s | asking about this one for quite some |
s | time so poison ammo for the Springfield |
s | as part of the unlock tree and then for |
s | the packs and the Pax claw obviously we |
s | also add the poison ammo and full metal |
s | jacket as an option so that gives you |
s | mostly like ways for you to combine |
s | different loadouts and makes it over a |
s | bit more flexible specifically the |
s | practice received also some balancing |
s | with 111 right like being a bit more |
s | reliable for for Fanning specifically |
s | and then with the additional ammo |
s | choices maybe it will end up in some of |
s | the loadouts that you guys are responded |
s | to be part of like metally for example |
s | or even with the new Centennial it's a |
s | bit more variety I feel like for the |
s | medium |
s | Canada's medium weapons so that's great |
s | to see uh we do have some pictures of |
s | the ammo but obviously uh you guys are |
s | already familiar with the poison ammo on |
s | other weapons as well and here is the |
s | Pax FMJ and poison ammo as well |
s | uh really cool uh so there's one last |
s | thing to talk about in this segment at |
s | least the gameplay segment of the stream |
s | which is the Wild Card condition so uh |
s | since we introduced this phrase let's |
s | talk about what it actually means first |
s | uh so why we decided to give it a |
s | different name is because these are |
s | quite different than times of days uh |
s | that we had already enhanced obviously |
s | in the foggy night Etc uh Sunny morning |
s | however you want to call them uh we have |
s | those regular times of day but the Vodka |
s | conditions uh will be a bit different |
s | than that and they will only occur |
s | randomly uh on the maps and uh the first |
s | it will start periodically during events |
s | uh which is during Devil's moon for the |
s | very first month so as we will see in a |
s | second it will be called The Inferno and |
s | this is our first iteration of vodka |
s | conditions so again your feedback will |
s | be very important on this one uh how you |
s | guys feel about uh having these kind of |
s | changes during events |
s | and we'll see what happens after that |
s | but let's talk about The Inferno Dennis |
s | a bit what that exactly is |
s | so yeah being the the first of all about |
s | [ __ ] what uh wildcard conditions |
s | um basically Inferno changes the maps |
s | quite drastically |
s | um what we do is we set everything on |
s | fire it's simple as that actually |
s | um what what that does is |
s | um specifically for this event it |
s | creates like great opportunities to try |
s | out the infernal traits uh you might |
s | have guessed like that might be some |
s | good Synergy there but also on its own |
s | um just having the the three Maps being |
s | changed completely by having larger |
s | areas that on fire it opens up New Paths |
s | it maybe closes your favorite path a |
s | little bit so that you may want to look |
s | for Alternatives it gives you a chance |
s | to kind of hide amongst the Flames or |
s | between them a little bit find New Paths |
s | between larger areas larger bodies of |
s | fire there |
s | um so it's going to be very interesting |
s | to see how you guys will will explore |
s | the new maps when this worker condition |
s | is active and like interesting to see |
s | the different tactics and different like |
s | gameplay videos that will come out of |
s | this one |
s | exactly so it will uh block some areas |
s | uh for players to go around the dry |
s | tennis like and they are playing it's |
s | basically like bigger patches of fire |
s | there they're like non-traversable so |
s | you can't go through them but uh usually |
s | they are like little islands and just |
s | like paths between them so you can kind |
s | of still maneuver your way around some |
s | of these larger areas like there might |
s | be a forest for example the forest next |
s | to next to uh uh Puerto Rico Alice farm |
s | and and |
s | um uh livestock right like that might |
s | actually be on fire but it's not going |
s | to be the entire Forest is gone there's |
s | going to be multiple patches of fire and |
s | then you still have some paths in |
s | between them but it will be loud going |
s | through there you're risk taking damage |
s | if you just get too close to the fire |
s | um so there's a different strategies now |
s | involved around maneuvering this one |
s | either to your advantage in terms of you |
s | want to break line of sight move away |
s | from from some engagement or maybe like |
s | try to sneak up on someone even from the |
s | other side so it's going to be very |
s | interesting to see how people will for |
s | example use those uh when they make |
s | their way to the exit for their Bounty |
s | for example setting up ambushes us but |
s | also just maybe even avoiding them and |
s | taking and traversing through safer |
s | errors entirely so yeah I think the the |
s | heat maps of this one would be quite |
s | interesting to review Once the event is |
s | awesome and uh so if you did release |
s | that trailer for this already where you |
s | could take a good look but if you |
s | haven't already now you will have the |
s | chance because we'll play it for you so |
s | let's take a look at The Inferno trailer |
s | quickly |
s | [Music] |
s | foreign |
s | [Music] |
s | [Music] |
s | foreign |
s | [Music] |
s | and also like I see everyone talking |
s | about our music as well again you can |
s | listen to the New Ports software band |
s | album right now if you want and uh yeah |
s | that trailer was super cool and uh it is |
s | coming very very soon with the event so |
s | uh we will let you guys know as we |
s | started to look for periodically during |
s | the event so you will have to keep an |
s | eye out when it actually comes but we'll |
s | let you know and I can't wait to see |
s | other reactions on everyone trying it |
s | out so it's gonna be great |
s | someone was asking about quick play |
s | um so yeah like whenever we have that |
s | welcome quotation active it also will |
s | affect quickly |
s | awesome and uh some people ask about |
s | choke problems I've seen a few questions |
s | but like what can you do with show bombs |
s | on the Fire |
s | exactly with the choke bombs right now |
s | um you cannot do anything about |
s | wildfires right static fires that have |
s | always been there you can only interact |
s | with Dynamic fires like those for |
s | example from burst lanterns uh fire |
s | bombs Etc the same is true here so so |
s | you can use that while there is like |
s | fire that has been like man-made man |
s | placed there but anything that's like as |
s | part of this this is um uh radical |
s | condition you basically don't have a |
s | chance to put any of that out because I |
s | kind of one don't want you to build your |
s | own paths through the fire right it |
s | would also be like art wise like pretty |
s | hard to actually make that happen |
s | dynamically |
s | um but you will have to respect that |
s | there's huge firewalls and your choke |
s | bomb just won't do anything to them |
s | yeah that makes a lot of sense actually |
s | so |
s | uh okay thank you Dennis and Simon I |
s | think with that we arrived to the end of |
s | the gameplay it changes part and uh now |
s | Simon will come uh sorry uh Anthem will |
s | come on to talk about all the |
s | progression and the new challenges |
s | system and after that we'll be back with |
s | all the rewards and the Q a section at |
s | the end so uh thank you Dennis and Simon |
s | uh and I'll see you in a bit thank you |
s | I'm doing good thanks you uh I'm good |
s | sorry uh you had to wait so long I know |
s | you're excited to talk about the |
s | progression and we did refer to your |
s | future so yeah let's dive into it uh and |
s | uh let's talk about the new challenges |
s | system which is huge so |
s | okay so uh talking about the new |
s | Challenger system uh as some of our |
s | players remember that uh yeah some time |
s | ago we released a new summon system uh |
s | which uh was a quite a good Improvement |
s | for uh previous system that we had |
s | before that uh but um at some point we |
s | just realized that this sound system is |
s | a little bit you know like heavy to use |
s | it requires a lot of micromanagement |
s | also it had a |
s | some balancing issues that's why we |
s | basically decided to rework it and make |
s | it a way more user friendly |
s | so a new Challenger system which is |
s | going to replace the summon system will |
s | be working like uh automatically so uh |
s | for every task that you have you won't |
s | have to like pick it up from a special |
s | menu they are always available by |
s | default and you can just go to the |
s | mission and uh yeah play and complete |
s | this challenge |
s | so uh basically uh during this event and |
s | uh even after the event because we're |
s | going to keep this system uh you can |
s | complete these challenges uh to earn |
s | star and this is very similar to what we |
s | had in the past for summons or for |
s | example what we have for uh questlines |
s | as well uh by earning these Stars you |
s | can complete some special milestones and |
s | we're going to talk about in a minute on |
s | the next slide and by reaching these |
s | Milestones you can earn event points |
s | yeah I can see a lot of people saying |
s | it's an awesome change I agree uh again |
s | with this eventually we took on a lot of |
s | feedback and uh I think this also |
s | reflects that so art and this sounds |
s | awesome so let's look at the how it |
s | looks on the UI and |
s | so uh that's basically a new challenges |
s | screen looks familiar a little bit right |
s | uh we kind of had |
s | um somewhat similar progression back in |
s | the days with our previous events so uh |
s | here we have uh yeah something similar |
s | uh so on the bottom part of the screen |
s | you can see uh four challenges so uh all |
s | of these challenges are active by |
s | default so you uh need to just go to the |
s | mission and uh they will be like |
s | completed automatically no needs to pick |
s | it pick them up from the special menu or |
s | select or yeah whatever so uh for |
s | um each of this |
s | challenge you can earn one or two Stars |
s | based on the type of the quest and |
s | basically we have four different types |
s | of quests uh so uh the first one which |
s | is |
s | um |
s | PVE type of quest the second one is |
s | kinda mixed there is some core gameplay |
s | elements like searching for clues or |
s | maybe uh killing bosses some |
s | um |
s | um you know like interaction with a map |
s | like you can see on a screen find |
s | envelopes for example uh the third uh |
s | slot is uh mostly for uh PVP |
s | interactions and the fourth one is uh |
s | something uh skill based so a little bit |
s | more |
s | um you know difficult challenges uh like |
s | uh you can say on a screen land |
s | headshots on enemy hunters from 100 |
s | meters using rifles uh no ammo boxes uh |
s | good |
s | um right so uh basically by completing |
s | uh each of this uh challenge you will |
s | get stars and uh you can see that on top |
s | there is a progression so uh for example |
s | the very first point the very first |
s | Milestone at the progression uh is for |
s | uh three stars basically uh it requires |
s | battle pass to uh unlock this specific |
s | uh Milestone but uh every time when you |
s | unlock uh |
s | when you earn I'm sorry when you earn |
s | three stars uh you will get a reward for |
s | uh this specific Milestone uh so as you |
s | can see on the screen uh if you can go |
s | one slide back uh for Nine Stars for |
s | example you can get 800 event points |
s | um it's a lot of event points yeah |
s | that's a lot of event points and |
s | um talking about the difficulty we also |
s | did some changes in here we tweaked the |
s | system so we believe that uh these |
s | challenges are going to be uh somewhat |
s | challenging but not uh too difficult not |
s | too grindy and we are going to keep an |
s | eye on all of these metrics because |
s | we're tracking all of that data and uh |
s | yeah we might react accordingly if we |
s | see some weird stuff in there |
s | um so uh that's basically it one |
s | important thing is that uh challenges |
s | are available for uh one uh week and |
s | after one week they are reset so all of |
s | your challenges are re-rolled and uh you |
s | basically lose your progress and you |
s | need to start again so every week you |
s | basically have a chance to earn quite a |
s | lot of event points just by completing |
s | this uh challenges and yeah on the left |
s | side of the screen you can see a timer |
s | which will uh basically show how |
s | much time do you still have to complete |
s | so uh I've seen few questions one was uh |
s | regarding what happens if you complete |
s | the challenge does it reshuffle or is it |
s | like what happens then and about the |
s | reshuffle button as well oh yeah uh so |
s | uh basically every time when you |
s | complete uh the challenge for example |
s | the first one kill grunts with knife uh |
s | when you complete that uh you will get |
s | Stars uh for it and uh this uh challenge |
s | will be re-rolled to another challenge |
s | from the pde pool so uh yeah we have a |
s | bunch of different challenges so it's |
s | going to be you know a pretty random for |
s | um any player but uh yeah that's how it |
s | works about the reshuffle button uh |
s | reshuffle button Works uh this way uh it |
s | is available once a day and uh if you |
s | for example don't like some specific |
s | um |
s | challenge like let's say you don't like |
s | to use pistols for the third task uh you |
s | can select this task and you can |
s | reshuffle it and it will be randomly uh |
s | re-rolled to another task from the pool |
s | this option is available once a day and |
s | uh yeah you cannot spend blood bonds to |
s | reroll further so yeah this is a |
s | one-time offer per day basically |
s | that sounds really cool I think and I |
s | feel like it improved a lot compared to |
s | the previous system but uh let's take a |
s | look at how the Milestones on the event |
s | points work exactly because that's the |
s | most important with development so we |
s | did prepare a little table for everyone |
s | could you explain this |
s | so uh yeah uh here on this table you can |
s | actually see the distribution of the |
s | event points for uh each Milestone uh we |
s | have uh 30 stars in total and uh for uh |
s | each uh Milestone you can get uh from |
s | 400 to 900 event points |
s | um in total there should be around 6 000 |
s | don't remember exact number it's |
s | 6400 I think if you have a battle pass |
s | which basically unlocks the uh first |
s | milestone for you for three stars uh |
s | yeah without it it's a 900 to 10 points |
s | less uh Plus in addition we have a |
s | little bit of bloodborne rewards similar |
s | to summons so uh 25 blood bones in total |
s | as it was uh before |
s | okay just like a few questions I think |
s | so uh when it resets every week can they |
s | get the event points again for each |
s | progression |
s | like it's my style sorry |
s | yes yes basically so uh every week uh |
s | you can collect 30 Stars uh if you do |
s | that you get all the event points and |
s | all the blood bonds and then every uh to |
s | be precise it happens on Wednesday at 7 |
s | A.M UTC uh the uh challenges are |
s | reshuffled and reset and uh basically |
s | you have the empty progression again so |
s | you can get your event points within |
s | that week as well |
s | and you did mention the battle pass for |
s | the first uh one is it just the first |
s | one or how does that work it is only for |
s | the first milestone for three stars uh |
s | without the battle pass uh you will |
s | start to earn event points uh from six |
s | stars uh with a battle pass you will |
s | start to earn them from three stars okay |
s | so it's 900 event points difference |
s | basically if you do the changes |
s | awesome if there's more questions please |
s | leave it at the Q a section at the end |
s | because we went through a lot in this uh |
s | and we'll get back to you uh because our |
s | lovely modes are also hopefully coming |
s | collecting are some questions for us so |
s | uh thank you Anton and let's move on to |
s | the battle pass we just mentioned |
s | this time |
s | okay so uh the battle pass system is uh |
s | pretty much the same as we had for our |
s | previous event uh the serpent Moon one |
s | however we made quite a lot of uh |
s | changes in the uh balance and the |
s | rewards distribution and we actually add |
s | uh even more rewards in that so uh let's |
s | uh take a look at them |
s | yeah uh we'll have like a whole section |
s | for World reverse but uh |
s | yeah yeah you're right before that uh |
s | let's talk a little bit about the Battle |
s | pass itself how much it does it cost and |
s | uh what you can get uh for it so we have |
s | two different types of battle passes uh |
s | the standard one and the premium battle |
s | pass uh basically the standard one |
s | includes uh the uh access it gives you |
s | the access to a premium reward track |
s | from the event progression uh it gives |
s | you a unique weapon charm which is |
s | called serpent Moon Memento to basically |
s | celebrate our previous event and as I |
s | already mentioned it adds additional |
s | event points uh sorry it gives you |
s | additional event points uh through the |
s | challenges so the very first Milestone |
s | is challenges uh it challenges is |
s | unlocked by uh uh purchasing the battle |
s | pass so for the premium battle pass it |
s | works exactly the same uh but in |
s | addition it immediately gives you 10 |
s | event levels booster so if you want to |
s | progress really fast you can have this |
s | additional 10 levels from the very |
s | beginning with the significant discount |
s | but we're going to talk about that as |
s | well exactly so let's look at quickly |
s | just on a graph of the free reverse |
s | which are just through the event |
s | progression that you can get again we |
s | will dive into them each a bit take a |
s | look a bit closer but if you want to |
s | screenshot this because this will show |
s | you all the free rewards and there's |
s | quite a lot |
s | yeah I mean uh you can already see some |
s | weapons that uh Dennis and Simon |
s | mentioned before uh so they will be |
s | unlocked through the event progression |
s | from the uh three rewards path uh so |
s | they are not hidden uh behind the battle |
s | pass you don't have to spend your blood |
s | bonds to unlock this weapons and as well |
s | we have uh other legendary rewards uh as |
s | you can see like on the bottom of the |
s | screen as well as weapon charms uh one |
s | unique legendary Hunter and other |
s | rewards such as bloodborne and custom |
s | ammos |
s | yes and some people already know that |
s | this is Kevin and uh here right |
s | uh and let's look at the Battle pass |
s | so for the uh battle pass event |
s | progression we uh also have uh some |
s | legendary stuff uh which is basically a |
s | new legendary skins for uh these weapons |
s | that are going to be released together |
s | with the event uh that you basically |
s | cannot look uh through the event |
s | as well as uh Kevin's uh pistol |
s | um you can see it like below uh some |
s | weapon charms and many many other |
s | rewards yeah and uh this is Mary from |
s | that story so I see some people like oh |
s | that's Kevin wow yes uh actually like uh |
s | hunters from the previous event stories |
s | and obviously this events they are in |
s | this event as unlockable Hunters now so |
s | this is Mary and ochenko and the other |
s | one is Kevin Linus |
s | uh and yeah let's look at those uh |
s | reports that you said are like |
s | unlockables this is with the battle pass |
s | unlock the serpent movement weapon charm |
s | yeah I mean that looks absolutely |
s | amazing and uh yeah I really like this |
s | connection with the previous event so |
s | now we have this opportunity to yeah |
s | pick up something uh that uh |
s | um |
s | that happened like in the past and yeah |
s | yeah and the only way to get it is by |
s | getting the battle pass this time |
s | so |
s | it looks really cool uh and uh yeah |
s | let's talk about the event progression |
s | that you already mentioned and you |
s | mentioned the levels of the pedal pass |
s | and that you get 10 numbers with the |
s | premium but how do the levels differ and |
s | how did they work this time around |
s | okay so uh yeah I can uh probably expect |
s | uh something uh going on in the chat but |
s | uh so for this event we have 50 levels |
s | uh for uh 50 000 event points and uh yes |
s | uh this is uh quite a huge number but uh |
s | together with the new Challenger system |
s | I believe that uh this time we managed |
s | to make it uh quite balanced uh not so |
s | grindy and I can expect that it's going |
s | to be like pretty entertaining and uh |
s | yeah with the you know like some effort |
s | uh by uh completing these challenges uh |
s | you can earn quite a lot of event points |
s | out of them and uh yeah so we are going |
s | to take a look uh in uh there as well uh |
s | to keep track all the data uh we do have |
s | all the numbers and uh yeah we'll we'll |
s | see how it works yeah I can expect a |
s | huge Improvement on that side yeah as |
s | you mentioned that from the challenges |
s | they can get over 6 000 event points |
s | already and that's on top of the regular |
s | event points collected like with the |
s | usual events so exactly yeah exactly so |
s | not only you earn these event points |
s | from the challenges but you also have |
s | your |
s | um core gameplay activities uh similar |
s | to like previous events by uh looting |
s | other enemy hunters and collecting Clues |
s | killing bosses uh all the you know uh |
s | standard uh stuff so yeah |
s | um so talking about this event points uh |
s | 50 levels and uh linear event |
s | progression uh we are not going to have |
s | um |
s | the progression similar to serpent moon |
s | event when with every level uh you had |
s | to earn more and more and more event |
s | points uh this time it's very linear |
s | each level is 1000 event points so uh |
s | basically by uh just completing One |
s | Challenge you can already have 900 event |
s | points which is basically almost one |
s | level |
s | so I can expect a pretty pretty fast |
s | progression here |
s | that's awesome sounds good uh and uh we |
s | do have some images of just like how it |
s | looks and how people progress through it |
s | so maybe you could talk us through it a |
s | bit so what we see right now yes so on |
s | the screen you basically can see the |
s | main event screen uh it looks somewhat |
s | similar to what we had in the past |
s | however it looks uh I personally think |
s | it looks much better with all of these |
s | like 3D backgrounds and stuff uh it |
s | looks really cool so and uh as you can |
s | see uh on the bottom side uh there is a |
s | some of these icons uh some of these |
s | rewards are uh marked with the keys and |
s | uh that basically means that this type |
s | of reward uh is uh hidden behind the |
s | battle pass uh yeah the rest of them are |
s | available just within a free progression |
s | cool I'm just going through the reverse |
s | so people can see it and here's Linus |
s | all the first scientists uh the |
s | legendary is called |
s | yeah Kevin yes uh and we also have uh |
s | the story progression again like with |
s | the previous event and you can also |
s | listen to some of the chapters in audio |
s | format so you can just listen to the |
s | story what happens and obviously you |
s | progress through this as well while |
s | you're progressing with the regular |
s | event progression |
s | that's right |
s | all right so we talked about the Battle |
s | pass we've talked about the new |
s | challenges system so let's talk about |
s | the boosters so every event we do have |
s | some sort of mechanics where people can |
s | boost their progress what what is it |
s | about this time |
s | so uh for event boosters uh some things |
s | are uh the same as it was before but |
s | some things we are changed quite |
s | significantly so uh first of all |
s | um the classic event trait uh signee |
s | which previously cost uh 10 upgrade |
s | points now we reduced the price to six |
s | upgrade points so to make it a bit more |
s | affordable uh it will give you plus uh |
s | 10 of a booster uh then we have event |
s | legendary Hunters |
s | um and we can see a list on the screen |
s | uh lady pershta the upcoming DLC the |
s | origin Corps veto uh which is going to |
s | be Mary from the event that you could |
s | see on uh previous slides then the |
s | Devil's Advocate uh the Legacy Event |
s | hunter from our previous last year uh |
s | holiday event then skin Flint uh also |
s | Legacy event hunter from the Hollywood |
s | Day event that happened two years ago |
s | witch hunter from the DLC they came from |
s | Salem |
s | redneck our well-known bloodborne Hunter |
s | and the archaeologist which is also the |
s | DLC |
s | Hunters yeah |
s | sorry go ahead no I just said there's |
s | quite a lot of hunters compared to the |
s | previous one and uh and you know when we |
s | talked about this video I had a question |
s | to you like okay but like uh so the uh |
s | Mary orchenko's video is a booster |
s | Hunter but why is Kevin not and I was |
s | like oh because you unlock Kevin when |
s | the event is over so it makes no sense |
s | so if anyone is asking that questions |
s | Kevin is not a booster because uh he's |
s | the last unlock in the event but uh Mary |
s | is somewhere in the middle so you can |
s | still use her |
s | exactly that's right |
s | but uh that's uh |
s | uh we have more boosters exactly so |
s | Global boosters what is that and then |
s | first of all the global booster uh I'm |
s | not going to talk much about it uh |
s | please keep an eye on our social medias |
s | to uh get to know what is that but uh |
s | what I can say that uh from time to time |
s | we're going to have this |
s | um Global boosters that uh are applied |
s | to all players and every player can |
s | benefit from this Global booster sounds |
s | nice and we still have the contracts |
s | yeah we still have our contracts and uh |
s | basically contracts are very similar to |
s | what we had in the past we removed one |
s | of these contracts the longest one for |
s | seven days so this time we're going to |
s | have three hours 24 hours and three days |
s | uh contracts which gives you 50 booster |
s | but this time and this is really |
s | important because the event points |
s | distribution uh is uh changed now so you |
s | can earn event points not only from the |
s | core gameplay activities like in a |
s | mission but also from challenges uh we |
s | decided to significantly reduce the |
s | price for this contract so they are much |
s | cheaper right now and you can go and see |
s | them in the store tomorrow uh one |
s | important thing is that all of these |
s | event boosters are applied only to the |
s | event points that are earned in the mesh |
s | so they do not affect event points that |
s | earned from challenges yeah makes sense |
s | sounds good Anton so we talked about the |
s | boosters uh which are like the contracts |
s | as well which are available in the event |
s | store but what else uh or what can |
s | people get in the events for this time |
s | around which is always important so what |
s | are there so in the even store this time |
s | we have actually quite a lot of uh |
s | interesting stuff so uh first of all uh |
s | battle passes uh you can purchase battle |
s | passes from the main event screen but |
s | they are also available in the store so |
s | uh yeah it's hard to miss them because |
s | during the serpent moon event we had |
s | this issue that some people were a |
s | little bit confused because battle |
s | passes were not included in the event |
s | store so uh yeah we fixed that and now |
s | they are available in there as well |
s | uh then a new interesting thing uh this |
s | time uh we are going to sell battle pass |
s | levels uh they are going to be able uh |
s | in a pack of uh one level and uh 10 |
s | levels so uh for these people uh who |
s | really wants to speed up their process |
s | uh it is possible right now to buy uh |
s | Yeti basically 50 levels uh from the |
s | very beginning of the event |
s | uh well same as before we have the event |
s | exclusive item uh which is uh Mannheim |
s | number three this time and I think we're |
s | going to see some screenshots uh just on |
s | the next slide yes |
s | uh plus uh this time we have this event |
s | exclusive weapon charms bundle uh which |
s | contains of three different uh weapon |
s | charms and uh yeah we can take a look at |
s | them just in a second |
s | uh plus uh we have this Legacy holiday |
s | bundles so for uh disc players who |
s | missed our previous holidays uh events |
s | uh Blood and Ice and the winter solstice |
s | uh with the skin flint and with the |
s | devil's advocate so uh all of uh items |
s | uh legendary weapons and hunters from |
s | these events are going to be available |
s | uh during the whole event this time you |
s | can also purchase some items from the |
s | legendary store separately yeah I see a |
s | lot of people happy about this because |
s | they wanted those uh older legendaries |
s | and yeah as you mentioned let's take a |
s | look at these uh how it exactly looks in |
s | the store and the what people see so |
s | obviously this is the battle pass as |
s | Anto mentioned you can also get it from |
s | the very front event page so it's hard |
s | to miss then the event levels which is |
s | also new so uh again you just have to go |
s | to the store tab uh if you really want |
s | to speed up your progress or you have no |
s | time left or something like that and you |
s | want to finish it still |
s | uh and then we have the bornheim uh |
s | funeral church so you can see it here |
s | but we'll also have a slide showcasing |
s | it uh the weapons charms bundle |
s | including pencil the tarnish thing and |
s | saline's lock three weapon charms in one |
s | but again we'll take a look at those as |
s | well and the three bundles Anton |
s | mentioned so |
s | the first is the winter solstice bundle |
s | I believe that's from last year right |
s | yeah that's right |
s | yeah and uh so you can get uh all the |
s | legendaries from last year in one pack |
s | so that includes the Devil's Advocate |
s | Hunter and all the weapons as well as a |
s | spirit of fuel which was a fire bomb so |
s | consumables and weapons uh |
s | then the Blood and Ice bundle is from |
s | the winter event two years ago which was |
s | called bloodrise and again you can get |
s | the skin flint and all the weapons and |
s | uh |
s | there was a duster and math kit as well |
s | on top of the waterly and I believe it |
s | was amazing sniper so |
s | a lot of cool stuff and then we do have |
s | the big holiday bundle which includes |
s | all of this in one pack |
s | so uh quite a lot to get from it and |
s | again some of these Hunters were uh |
s | uh also boosting your progress during |
s | the event so some people may already |
s | have them so you can just use them but |
s | you can also buy them for platforms |
s | uh and uh yeah for uh these people who |
s | took part uh during these events back in |
s | the days but uh haven't like completed |
s | them fully uh there is the option to |
s | purchase uh some of these items uh from |
s | the legendary store |
s | so yeah so can you buy some of them |
s | separately like that or yes okay awesome |
s | so the bundles are just a discount over |
s | if you want to get all of them basically |
s | you know yes awesome |
s | uh yeah let's take a look at these |
s | legendaries that are exclusive to the |
s | store so as we mentioned this was the |
s | pornheim it looks really sweet |
s | uh and uh yeah it is available I think |
s | it was thousand blood Bonds in the event |
s | store |
s | uh and then the three weapon charms that |
s | were available in the under was Pan's |
s | head |
s | she's really nice looking little goat |
s | hunt |
s | yeah he's cute yeah quite cute uh |
s | salin's look |
s | also looking good on the weapon |
s | yeah with a moon cycle I think yes |
s | yes very fitting for the last Moon |
s | themed event for sure |
s | and then we have the tarnished Wing as |
s | well |
s | which is like a little moth like |
s | figure it's this is also quite a cute to |
s | be honest and and you get all these |
s | three in a bundle in in the store |
s | that's right yes and with that we |
s | arrived to the end of this segment and |
s | uh we will summon Dennis back and the |
s | three of us will quickly go through all |
s | the event legendary unlocks so we can |
s | take a closer look and after that we'll |
s | dive into the Q the Q a sections uh so |
s | uh because I already see some questions |
s | but uh yeah let's let's quickly look at |
s | through all the rivers hey Dennis |
s | welcome back hello keep in mind though |
s | you can't summon me back you have to |
s | challenge me back now we changed oh |
s | right you're you're right |
s | yes uh so yeah let's just quickly go |
s | through the rewards uh we don't want to |
s | spend too much time or read the lore |
s | behind them because that would spoil |
s | some of the fun in the event as well so |
s | let's just take a quick look on every uh |
s | legendary unlock and talk about it just |
s | very quickly so let's start and these |
s | are in all in order of analog so uh |
s | starting with the iron Arrowhead weapon |
s | charm I think I like that being being a |
s | um a bow and arrow connoisseur I have to |
s | approve of this one I mean it would look |
s | very cool in general I think so |
s | really nice |
s | some close-ups of it |
s | sweet |
s | then we have the Zeal finally uh |
s | Vitality shot I'm really happy |
s | awesome one I really like the look of |
s | this one I mean this is just a tragic |
s | thing I never use fatality shots I I |
s | probably would have died only half as |
s | often if I did but I somehow never use |
s | them because I use my consumers |
s | differently but for everybody who does I |
s | think this is going to be like gonna be |
s | very very interesting yeah I'm really |
s | happy that we have more and more stuff |
s | like uh different tools or consumables |
s | being legendary because uh yeah |
s | like it yeah you can finally take like a |
s | I mean you could already but now you can |
s | take a full legendary look at Lotus with |
s | like a regular person that takes vital |
s | t-shirts so very cool |
s | uh and then we have smolder which is uh |
s | the new Centennial trauma uh and a skin |
s | for it so I I'm really pretty beautiful |
s | as well I like it I always like it when |
s | it's like patterns it cannot extend over |
s | larger parts of the weapons like this |
s | one yeah and it also looks a bit cool |
s | tick like a it you know like I'm not |
s | sure like lower wise but what it ties to |
s | but looks very cruelty and uh like |
s | creepy a bit so I I really like it |
s | personally |
s | I also like that it's not that Rusty as |
s | the original version because the thing |
s | on the back uh yeah hey it's uh quite |
s | Rusty in the original version but this |
s | one looks way clearer so |
s | all right |
s | just like not the second hand one this |
s | time around |
s | amazing so then we have the fatey chance |
s | which is another weapon charm |
s | also very beautiful almost like a |
s | bracelet uh put over the weapon I think |
s | so very cool I I if someone can |
s | translate those runes I would love to |
s | know so |
s | well me too yeah I just wondering what's |
s | in there same |
s | a closer one so you can see it's better |
s | uh the next one is Agony Eternal which |
s | is uh again the new Martini Henry |
s | Ironside and this is actually so pretty |
s | uh yeah a big big fan of the wood |
s | carvings yes you know like in the uh the |
s | iron side the the little metal side |
s | loader was like very makeshift for real |
s | and here it actually looks very pretty |
s | so |
s | I love it |
s | like floral patterns over the ground as |
s | well |
s | then we have the Knight for all the |
s | horse lovers out there uh it's uh or |
s | chess lovers you know uh whichever uh a |
s | beautiful laughing charm to put on your |
s | any any of your weapons |
s | I also like that thing that uh some of |
s | these items are slightly burnt a little |
s | bit which give this additional you know |
s | like sense of the uh whole Inferno theme |
s | in here so yeah they might have also |
s | trained hands quite a couple of times |
s | already |
s | uh then we have uh hair's breath uh |
s | she's like another pretty cute I mean it |
s | depends how you look at it because I |
s | feel like it's a bun is like little arm |
s | but it's a token it's like a huge token |
s | of luck right so yeah |
s | it's like a minus ten percent of uh |
s | headshot chance |
s | yeah yeah so I could call it cute button |
s | for you yeah when someone else is |
s | shooting you I mean would you put that |
s | on that extra definitely need like so |
s | it's all good |
s | yeah |
s | so the next one is obituary I I suppose |
s | a lemon car by skin again the lemon |
s | carbine is the new weapon variant |
s | and again like very very beautiful |
s | version of it similar to the iron side |
s | one a bit and I love the details on the |
s | drum also like that gives some very nice |
s | contrast |
s | yeah oh and there's calls at the uh |
s | stocks |
s | super cool |
s | uh the next one is the Talisman which is |
s | a crack rifle again a new rifle a |
s | completely new weapon for this event and |
s | fitting into the same themes very nice I |
s | feel like everything has this like a bit |
s | of silverish uh look to them which I |
s | really like |
s | this one feels very nice if you like |
s | your partners bring like a like a bone |
s | weave or or something other like like um |
s | skins for example this one is very very |
s | nice complementary yeah I really like |
s | that it looks very similar to that mozen |
s | rifle love was it an empty Cairn or uh I |
s | think I think it's empty candle empty |
s | yeah yeah the other one is a bright uh |
s | more more yeah |
s | exactly yes so I really like the way |
s | because uh that one is uh actually one |
s | of my the most favorite skins in a game |
s | so I'm really happy that we have |
s | something similar for another weapon |
s | very nice probably going to use that a |
s | lot same thing at tier three definitely |
s | oh and the hook look who we have here |
s | it's uh ochenko's video also known as |
s | Mary from the story uh super badass |
s | although like a bit scary not gonna lie |
s | like she she's the champion of the |
s | infernal pact uh basically supporting Mr |
s | Cherry's plans and endeavors |
s | and she holds the crack actually so |
s | yeah I like that shot awesome |
s | uh then we have necrosis which is uh I |
s | think the first uh legendary Hive bomb |
s | so finally we also have a new high pump |
s | to play around with |
s | The Shield quite often so now we can |
s | maybe get one with the skin |
s | yeah that's very cool yeah it's like |
s | it's a you know so dirty and uh yeah I |
s | like that the texture is changed into |
s | yeah just |
s | I think it's a bit more interesting than |
s | the original one definitely yeah yeah |
s | can't wait to see it in first person too |
s | when you shake the piece upon it |
s | uh then we have a legendary concert in a |
s | trip mine called The Devil's dream |
s | I feel like it also fits into that same |
s | style as the previous weapons they are |
s | like almost like a nice set together |
s | a really cool |
s | can't wait to step into it when I enter |
s | a compound |
s | uh then we have a legendary stem in a |
s | shot let's go uh shusha I think yeah |
s | susha |
s | very nice yeah really cool looking as |
s | well |
s | yeah I would say I can't wait to inject |
s | myself this one but that sounds a bit |
s | weird so but it is very very cool I I |
s | was always a big fan of the golden |
s | weapons that we released uh we have like |
s | the golden uppercut and now the Sparks |
s | and you can have a full code and no |
s | doubt so |
s | yeah amazing |
s | some people already found out in a chat |
s | like what this name is about but yeah or |
s | yeah we can give it a secret okay |
s | then we have the hey Effigy which is a |
s | small little Effigy uh made out of hay |
s | so the name is very fatigue it's uh |
s | pretty cool as well looks very Voodoo |
s | like I would say to |
s | hey there |
s | hey guy very cute now this I can say |
s | it's cute because no uh pops were cut |
s | off in the making of this so uh very |
s | nice then we have the Cardinal Icarus |
s | so that's some feathery |
s | uh birdie style so |
s | uh if you like uh scrapbook you may want |
s | to take this |
s | very cool uh the next one is greed which |
s | is the new Romero hand Cannon |
s | legendary can't have enough of those of |
s | course yeah |
s | I mean I like the way how it looks uh |
s | you know quite simple but at the same at |
s | the same time uh you know somewhat |
s | unique so yeah I like this Simplicity |
s | sometimes in this weapon so definitely |
s | good looking one yeah what's really |
s | awesome is like now that you can kind of |
s | like quickly look at these weapons also |
s | when you set up your your weapon charms |
s | right as you can kind of get like all |
s | the benefits of the E3 viewer directly |
s | from the Arsenal so I could go and check |
s | out all the details once in a while |
s | yeah someone said they said oh my God so |
s | many legendaries I know right so this |
s | event has the most ever so |
s | a lot of very new things to play around |
s | with new weapons new variants new |
s | legendaries for everything not |
s | everything but like a lot of things that |
s | we didn't even have legendaries for like |
s | the Vitality shoots for example and Hive |
s | bombs so yeah some really really good |
s | ones in there as well but I think I |
s | really like his overall deck we have a |
s | chance to put more and more uh rewards |
s | in there I think people really |
s | appreciate it very very cool |
s | and then we have the false Saint uh |
s | which is the level 50 unlock and again |
s | it's Kevin winus from the lore but the |
s | first saint is the name of the legendary |
s | Hunter |
s | he's like the champion of the lunar pact |
s | and they're obviously going directly |
s | against Mr Cherry imposing his scheming |
s | exactly |
s | I like that thing on his back which |
s | creates somewhat you know unique |
s | silhouette of the hunter yes however |
s | yeah it doesn't make him you know like |
s | way too big so it's |
s | gonna be a bit easier to see him from |
s | the distance but uh yeah |
s | and someone noticed this was indeed the |
s | hands you've seen earlier in the video |
s | so you you're correct |
s | uh like the last event is going to set |
s | up Kevin quite as a tragic person |
s | already so we'll be curious to see how |
s | this all continues this event |
s | and I think the last one in the list is |
s | the dying sun which is uh also level 50 |
s | unlock if I'm not mistaken and uh yeah |
s | and it's a Spitfire Squad Spitfire I'll |
s | look and |
s | Kevin's pieces we yeah we do have uh two |
s | unlocks on the last level uh so Kevin |
s | and the uh this pistol which is uh |
s | Kevin's personal weapon |
s | but like it's just so beautiful this one |
s | actually like amazing |
s | yeah but uh so that was all the rewards |
s | which was quite a long list so I hope |
s | you guys really enjoyed what you've seen |
s | and now I'm gonna summon Simon back as |
s | well and we arrive to the end of our |
s | video which is the Q a segment |
s | so uh we already collected some |
s | questions I hope uh what we need to open |
s | this course further and uh let's talk |
s | about some of your questions and with |
s | that we will uh and the stream to uh |
s | first of all uh at Anton to you I've |
s | seen some arguments in the chat earlier |
s | actually but I wanted to wait until the |
s | Q a where people were like oh the 6000 |
s | event points from the challenges you can |
s | only do it once and then others like no |
s | you can do it again then they were like |
s | no you can only do it once so could you |
s | like just clarify on that one again how |
s | that works uh you can do it multiple |
s | times so for uh every week uh as I |
s | mentioned uh before |
s | um challenges are going to be reshuffled |
s | every Wednesday at 7 00 am UTC so uh you |
s | can earn uh around six thousand uh event |
s | points during the first week then your |
s | progression will be reset on Wednesday |
s | and after that you will have another |
s | chance to earn more event points and |
s | basically the same cycle is going to |
s | happen during the whole duration of the |
s | event so every Wednesday |
s | challenges are reshuffled and you can |
s | earn event points again |
s | awesome thank you uh so I've seen some |
s | asking event even starts again we talked |
s | about in the beginning but maybe someone |
s | missed it so Antoine was it exactly |
s | uh the event starts tomorrow at |
s | um 3 P.M UTC |
s | and uh yeah so and it ends on February |
s | 15th 7 A.M UTC right yes yes and for all |
s | of those who are bad at math like myself |
s | Patron stated that it basically means |
s | like four pm Central European Time as a |
s | reference yeah that's right so uh the |
s | whole duration of the event is going to |
s | be uh two months or uh I think it's |
s | actually in nine weeks this time to be |
s | precise |
s | uh and okay I actually have a small news |
s | uh from our |
s | um also the new DLC is now available so |
s | throw patchstar you can actually get now |
s | and uh there's a devil's Moon bundle on |
s | Steam which comes with the from perishta |
s | and the witch hunter with 35 off so |
s | check out the new diazions team and the |
s | awesome consoles and of course check out |
s | the bundu on uh steam because you can |
s | get the new legendary and the witch |
s | hunter which is also boosted Hunter |
s | during the events so it may be a very |
s | good pickup right now |
s | uh let's look for more questions |
s | uh I got I got one here okay um so |
s | someone asked about uh the patch marks |
s | and whether they're shared with the team |
s | yes they are so if any of uh the people |
s | in the team do one of those three |
s | conditions we talked about earlier like |
s | getting your first time 35 uh event |
s | points or your first |
s | um boss banish or your first uh time you |
s | do the hunter in that particular round |
s | all of you get one Mark and then you can |
s | choose for yourselves what you do with |
s | that Mark as you go to the pledge posts |
s | so there's no competition within the |
s | team |
s | awesome uh so I seen a question about |
s | the bomblands actually I don't know if |
s | dinosaur a Simon monster sir uh so do |
s | you have one uh customer or does it come |
s | with two or how does it work |
s | um so basically for the moment we only |
s | choose one |
s | um we kept this as a possibility for the |
s | future that we might allow to swap |
s | between different ones but we first |
s | wanted to first get like a like a |
s | feeling about like how these new ammo |
s | tabs actually working before starting to |
s | mix them in any way |
s | um and maybe we add future uh additional |
s | ones then also but nothing to talk about |
s | for the moment for right now you have to |
s | make a choice before |
s | awesome so someone else about the new DS |
s | actually like |
s | so how do because this is the first DLC |
s | pack that comes with two legendary |
s | Hunters so how how does that for how can |
s | you switch between the two or what is |
s | that the path |
s | uh I can answer this uh it works very |
s | similar to our stage hunter that we had |
s | during the certain moon event so uh |
s | basically on the screen when you can |
s | purchase your legendary Hunter they're |
s | going to be uh two arrows on both sides |
s | so you can just switch between two |
s | different skins and purchase the one you |
s | want |
s | awesome thank you uh |
s | uh sorry maybe I should clarify that a |
s | little bit better so uh when you |
s | purchase the DLC both of these Hunters |
s | are available uh so uh you still need to |
s | spend 200 hundred dollars to purchase uh |
s | the hunter uh to use it but uh yeah you |
s | can just switch between them and uh pick |
s | up the skin that you prefer yeah so |
s | every time you recruit them basically |
s | you can make the choice before as you |
s | can with the wiper |
s | exactly thank you uh |
s | so I've seen a good one so uh so if you |
s | added the pacts and there was still some |
s | confusion so |
s | does it affect your event progression in |
s | any way which pack you choose is there |
s | uh like three different progressions or |
s | is it just I mean I know the answer but |
s | like that is maybe so basically what |
s | we've tried to do is like we separated a |
s | little bit the gameplay part from the |
s | progression part so so |
s | um it doesn't matter what pact you |
s | choose in order to progress in the event |
s | you have the normal even progression is |
s | Anton is outlined The Pact is really |
s | just about um what is your gameplay |
s | choice so like which traits do you want |
s | to get access to if you if you earn |
s | enough marks then pledge yourself |
s | um there's however another layer on top |
s | of that and that is the pre-pledge |
s | tundra so that's some of the legendary |
s | Hunters they already made their choice |
s | based on their place in the lore and are |
s | therefore only able to to kind of like |
s | choose one particular |
s | um pact so for example mariochenko |
s | obviously is gonna be the champion of Mr |
s | cherry and she is always pledged or is |
s | always only her only chance to pledge |
s | will be towards the infernal pact like |
s | she's not she's not basically yet a |
s | committed these don't have the trades |
s | but the only choice she can make as she |
s | approaches The Pledge posts in game is |
s | to go infernal and you have that for |
s | different Hunters as well however |
s | they're on top of that and that's where |
s | we talk about the progression there's |
s | also a specific set of event hunters and |
s | maybe Anton you can quickly repeat that |
s | part |
s | uh for uh boosted hunters or exactly how |
s | privileged uh yeah for boosted Hunters |
s | oh uh I mean uh there are quite a lot of |
s | them if I remember correctly they're uh |
s | Devil's Advocate the skin Flint uh Frau |
s | pershta uh the archaeologist the redneck |
s | um |
s | I think we're like six or seven months |
s | it's quite a lot like more than we ever |
s | had yeah yeah yeah so there are quite a |
s | lot some of them I think are privileged |
s | some of them not but uh they all give |
s | you uh 10 booster for all the even |
s | points earned in a mission yeah so |
s | expect some of those Hunters to show up |
s | a bit more frequently during the event |
s | as similar to what we did in previous |
s | events |
s | thank you so uh there was a question |
s | about the packed box boxes or pledge |
s | boxes let's call them that are they only |
s | apply uh you can only find them at the |
s | supply areas that were like cars on the |
s | map or can you also find them at the |
s | boats let's say no you can own you can |
s | only find them at the cards and for this |
s | event we will only have the cards so |
s | basically |
s | um we change the rule set around where |
s | you find those Supply points a little |
s | bit so they are usually a bit more found |
s | towards the center of the map but this |
s | will quite a lot of different options |
s | and for the purpose of the event you |
s | will only have Supply points which are |
s | like cart based wagon based so you will |
s | not find the boats you won't find the |
s | train cards you will only have them |
s | where basically the the wagons can be |
s | placed however every time you find a |
s | supply point you will have the pledge |
s | posts there |
s | awesome thank you that's very |
s | interesting actually so like I didn't |
s | even know always four Supply points with |
s | always deep ledge boxes next next to |
s | them basically |
s | uh |
s | uh some uh so yeah I see a lot of |
s | questions about an action update guys |
s | that's not really related to the event |
s | but again we are working on it uh uh as |
s | soon as we have more info we will let |
s | you know uh we can't really say anything |
s | at this time other than that yeah we are |
s | actively working on it and as soon as we |
s | can we will let you know so we already |
s | answered this a few times previously but |
s | uh just to make sure and uh another one |
s | is about the recent reloadback we also |
s | talked about this a lot it is also |
s | something we are very heavily working on |
s | actually so maybe Dennis you can share a |
s | bit more details than I can uh yeah |
s | we've put it like like a post out with |
s | some of the deal so like the problem is |
s | that if we've been like trying to to |
s | squash that particular bug for the |
s | better part of the last half years so |
s | and um the thing is that it is kind of |
s | deeply rooted within the weapon system |
s | so the moment we start applying some |
s | fixes unfortunately in the past this is |
s | always had some side effects you guys |
s | might remember like the lamat exploits |
s | we had for like a week go to in in early |
s | spring for example these type of things |
s | they can unfortunately happen the moment |
s | you start tinkering with is these type |
s | of like deep rooted systems so what |
s | we're doing at the moment we're trying |
s | to apply like a more broader uh fixing |
s | and refactoring approach trying to get |
s | on top of these systems a bit more |
s | across the board that can hopefully also |
s | will just make sure that these bugs in |
s | general can't really happen anymore |
s | within that cannot revised and |
s | refactored system but working on that |
s | just takes time so that's why we |
s | couldn't manage to get it out this |
s | update |
s | awesome thank you Dennis uh put a little |
s | insight on that uh |
s | so someone asked if there's a champion |
s | to the ground attack then uh since we do |
s | have The Inferno pack with Mary and the |
s | lunar packed with uh Kevin uh the |
s | granite pact is a bit different from |
s | this perspective because they are more |
s | like Hunters that don't really care |
s | about the other two packs or the war |
s | they are just trying to use it for their |
s | own good or like other ways so they |
s | don't really have a champion because |
s | it's not like a collective goal it's |
s | more like ah we're just gonna benefit |
s | from all this stuff going around it's |
s | like the unaligned faction so to say |
s | like that that pact is more Loosely |
s | linked to one another that's also why we |
s | kind of put like more of the more solo |
s | focused mechanics around that with the |
s | Necromancer conditional effects but as |
s | well as also like death cheat and and |
s | Shadow with their respective attributes |
s | so it's something to experiment more |
s | with it's something where solo players |
s | might actually quite find some |
s | interesting new gameplay Styles but in |
s | general they're less committed to either |
s | of the two courses |
s | foreign |
s | all right do you guys see any more |
s | questions that you would like to answer |
s | right now I actually see one |
s | um the question about ranking uh meaning |
s | leaderboards as in the previous event uh |
s | no for uh this time uh we are not going |
s | to have a leaderboard uh we uh we're |
s | thinking about like how to redesign that |
s | system and make it uh a bit more |
s | interesting and challenging for this |
s | event uh but |
s | um unfortunately like uh didn't have |
s | enough team uh bandwidth or uh yeah so |
s | we decided to keep it for now uh sorry |
s | not keep keep it as it is like without |
s | the leaderboard this time so uh yeah but |
s | we might return to that system because |
s | it was quite interesting how uh many |
s | players were actually trying to you know |
s | get their way like higher in the in the |
s | leaderboard |
s | yeah it's like we we kind of like pick a |
s | certain amount of mechanics per event |
s | and just try to experiment around them |
s | so sometimes also things that that you |
s | might have liked a lot we actually |
s | intentionally don't gonna repeat |
s | directly at their event after just |
s | because you want to focus on other |
s | things so for us like events are always |
s | a bit of a learning experience as well |
s | like experimentation can happen during |
s | that time so whatever has proven and |
s | worked uh there's a good chance for you |
s | will be able to see that return in a |
s | future event |
s | uh I've seen a few more questions here |
s | as well gameplay related |
s | um so there was one about quick play and |
s | how the entire uh pledge marks system |
s | works around quickly what I can say is |
s | that you won't be able to find any of |
s | the Pledge posts in quickly so you just |
s | have the normal Supply points as normal |
s | however |
s | um the sole survivor of a round of quick |
s | play actually earns one Mark so that can |
s | give you a bit of a head start as we've |
s | learned before you can only get up to |
s | three marks per Bounty Hunt mission |
s | right for the event points for the first |
s | banish or for the first loot of a hunter |
s | um now if you however bring assault |
s | Survivor that has already then gotten |
s | one mark from winning like a round of |
s | quick play you might actually be able to |
s | get up to four marks in one round |
s | because he has that kind of like one uh |
s | one pledge Mark lead compared to the |
s | others it makes it just interesting for |
s | those who are kind of like try to keep a |
s | stash off of quickly Hunters ready for |
s | when their friends come online that you |
s | can already get into things quite |
s | quickly |
s | um so apart from that however there's |
s | not going to be any chance for you to |
s | kind of like touch yourself during a |
s | mission quickly you can only ever get at |
s | the end but of course you can still earn |
s | event points as per the normal rules |
s | thank you Dennis was there anything else |
s | there were a couple of questions about |
s | Inferno we can talk about quickly maybe |
s | yes |
s | um so one was uh whether in front can |
s | happen at all times of day |
s | so being like one of those new Wild Card |
s | conditions you have to think of Inferno |
s | as a package and it always has like a |
s | time of day linked to it which is like |
s | this specific like kind of eerie |
s | um um like a setting basically every |
s | time The Inferno is on it will be at |
s | that time of day as that is part of this |
s | entire package so it's not mixed up with |
s | like other types of things like Focus or |
s | it's its own thing but it's more than |
s | just the time of day being wildcard |
s | condition also has this gameplay changes |
s | like the work being partially set on |
s | fire opening closing certain paths and |
s | just making a very interesting you can |
s | explore the space differently than |
s | normal |
s | um there was another one whether |
s | um uh actually what you do if you die in |
s | a firewall I mean you can't really run |
s | through some of these fires so you can |
s | move a little bit into them but like |
s | then like the big fires you just can't |
s | like really go for them this is kind of |
s | like an invisible wall almost that kind |
s | of stops you |
s | um so that means if you if you could go |
s | down you'll be in in the fire towards |
s | the edge of these bigger patches so just |
s | as in other wildfires that are already |
s | persistent in the game right now in this |
s | case your friend would need to kind of |
s | like see if they can if they can pick |
s | you up without either sitting themselves |
s | on fire and you have to run out as |
s | quickly as you can or they have to just |
s | accept that maybe getting you they also |
s | need to burn themselves a little bit so |
s | that's just one of those risks being |
s | closed around fire but then again that's |
s | also where the infernal uh packed traits |
s | come in quite handy because they're |
s | going to help you to kind of move around |
s | these limitations somewhat |
s | uh and then the last one maybe just |
s | quickly also about The Inferno just to |
s | wrap that package up uh how will the |
s | fire effect Dynamite well it just blows |
s | it up so you can kind of use these like |
s | bigger areas also for for doing some |
s | interesting uh like like priming |
s | grenades type of things right just like |
s | throw it into the fire blows up almost |
s | instantly |
s | um so you can kind of use that to your |
s | advantage but you also have to be |
s | careful that if you kind of toss it |
s | around the fire it might blow up |
s | prematurely if it crosses through some |
s | some burning patch there and it actually |
s | blows up damaging yourself so yeah be |
s | always careful over on fire |
s | so it's good and yeah so the in front of |
s | people also as they like so how when it |
s | will happen or how so uh we should |
s | clarify that it will be uh periodically |
s | during the event so not always and uh |
s | you will have to check out maybe our |
s | social channels or the news that is |
s | happening and uh that it will be there |
s | and you know you will never know so keep |
s | an eye out during the event |
s | uh |
s | all right is there anything uh Weapon by |
s | assignment that you may be seen or |
s | anything from your side Anton that |
s | still wanted to answer |
s | I guess no I actually seen a question |
s | about the lore if you is there a way to |
s | check the previous events and I'm not |
s | sure if you can do that in game but I |
s | know that they are on the wiki side for |
s | example or like or not online correct me |
s | if I'm wrong but you you cannot really |
s | look at it in the game right Dennis not |
s | at the moment it's something we're |
s | exploring whether we can make that |
s | somehow available to to the place in the |
s | future but we have no concrete plans we |
s | can share at this point however as you |
s | mentioned like this waits for you if you |
s | if you Google for them like you can find |
s | them on YouTube I'm sure as well as |
s | people are having a put on on biggie so |
s | if you're really interested there's ways |
s | for you to find the previous lore yeah |
s | you can find it and then you can maybe |
s | catch up on the Lord like tonight |
s | because Saturday event comes tomorrow so |
s | you don't have much time uh I mean you |
s | always have time to read it but yeah uh |
s | we didn't say anything about costs uh |
s | and exact damage numbers for the new |
s | weapons but I suppose you will have to |
s | find that out during the event |
s | I think what we can maybe give you is is |
s | the costs quickly I have those here |
s | um in case anyone is interested but |
s | obviously you will see it then from |
s | tomorrow on |
s | yeah maybe you can just give me like a |
s | second to quickly just open up my cheat |
s | sheet |
s | uh no very all right so we have the the |
s | Springfield 1892 crack rifle that costs |
s | you uh |
s | 37600 so it kind of sits a little bit in |
s | between them like the The Virtue and the |
s | level if I'm not mistaken |
s | um |
s | then we have the martini Henry Ironside |
s | that costs 184 hundred dollars |
s | so a bit more pricey than a normal one |
s | but still kind of reasonable for getting |
s | you like a technically rapid fire long |
s | ammo weapon and then we have the lamat |
s | Mark II carbine that gives costs you |
s | like 130 hundred dollars again also I |
s | think a pretty reasonable price for a |
s | very flexible weapon |
s | awesome thank you Dennis |
s | yeah I think the remaining ones like all |
s | the customer Etc you can go through |
s | yourselves as the event goes live |
s | tomorrow |
s | okay I think that we answered a lot of |
s | questions though so uh again please keep |
s | an eye out to the Deep dive videos where |
s | we will go over these topics uh again |
s | just focused on them with the tennis as |
s | well as Anton so those will come up this |
s | week so you will have like one video to |
s | look at instead of going through the |
s | whole stream let's say uh and uh thank |
s | you uh Dennis Simon Anton it was a lot |
s | of fun and uh this is the last that |
s | stream of the year so it's also time to |
s | say happy holidays to you guys as well |
s | as to the whole Community uh so I know |
s | that someone like Dennis is already in |
s | vacation so he's taking extra time to be |
s | here yeah |
s | a little better than being an adoption |
s | yeah it's it's always fun it's my |
s | pleasure so thank you for having me yeah |
s | thank you all uh yeah happy holidays to |
s | everyone uh and thank you yeah and see |
s | you all we will have some gameplay |
s | streams to wrap up the end of the year |
s | with the event uh with Violet Ari and |
s | some of the CMS so you can still get |
s | some giveaways for the holidays and we |
s | will actually have a bunch of like |
s | holiday giveaways on our social channels |
s | so it's worth uh following us because |
s | we'll be keeping a bunch of the asses |
s | maybe even more than just DLC so check |
s | that out and again Happy Holidays uh |
s | thank you all for joining today happy |
s | New Year as well and uh yeah see you |
s | next time I see you during the event |
