26s | of data a lot of feedback and |
27s | suggestions uh on every aspect of it um |
30s | so we've we you know we've taken on |
32s | everything on board and we've just put |
35s | in a bunch more quests and we'll be |
36s | doing more as we continue |

39s | and then we've also added into the |
41s | legendary summons there will be the |
42s | option of that blood hunters |
44s | so it won't be all tied down to dlc |
48s | um and this was something that had been |
50s | suggested as well by the community that |
52s | you know it needs to be have a bit more |
53s | variety into it so we've at least done |
55s | this as you know bloodline hunters with |
57s | the fact that you can earn as you play |
59s | it may be easier and you may actually |
61s | have a few of them lying around already |
62s | uh also just to mention it's also |
64s | bloodborne weapons so there may be a |
66s | quest where you have to kill people with |
67s | a certain weapon and uh similar but for |
70s | blood on the niger's dlcs and then just |
73s | to quickly touch on how we're further |
75s | developing the system um we have this |
77s | new thing that's going to be coming out |
78s | in the near future called questlines |
81s | now we don't have too much to share it |
83s | right now we'll probably do a lot more |
85s | uh leading up to when it actually comes |
87s | out but this is basically just to um |
89s | basically give a lot more uh of things |
91s | to do a lot more rewarding options of |
93s | ways of uh for us to add more content um |
96s | and to just yeah like like with the |
98s | original summon system to further expand |
101s | on it um and just make it something |
104s | that's a hell of a lot more engaging uh |
106s | for your everyday play sessions than |
108s | previously has been |
109s | so keep an eye out we'll we'll have a |

114s | on it that you know the quest system is |
116s | not just it there is far more to it it's |
118s | going to be quite a fun addition so i'm |

130s | in-game map screen or however you want |
132s | to call it where you can see your |
134s | summons so as you can see on the left |
136s | side where the cast requests ask you to |

139s | people with a certain weapon |
141s | those will be hidden so you won't be |
143s | able to track that in game just because |
146s | it gave people instant feedback on their |
148s | kills so you could instantly tell if you |
149s | managed to kill a player or not so you |
151s | will not be able to track these quests |
153s | in the game but you will be able to see |
155s | them after the game |
157s | obviously like tracking people is a huge |
160s | part of hunt and we don't want to give |
162s | it away with a feature like that so |
164s | that's another change to the quest |

194s | and monetization because we know this |
195s | has been something that uh many of you |
198s | have been discussing for a while |
199s | so uh in terms of the monetization blog |
202s | first off um the blog actually is going |
205s | to be coming out very very soon although |
206s | it's no longer a blog uh we decided to |
209s | opt for a video format due to the fact |
211s | that there was so much information to |
213s | unpack in it and we just didn't really |
215s | feel that a text version was going to do |
217s | it format do it justice so um the video |
220s | is currently it was recorded at the end |
221s | of last week and is currently going |
222s | through the editing process so we should |
224s | be able to post it later this week now |
226s | um in terms of you know |
230s | monetization with content and how things |
232s | have been for the last couple of updates |
234s | so |
235s | one thing we want to highlight is that |
236s | we've been trying to put a bit more |
237s | focus on some of the important aspects |
239s | that we feel need a lot of attention so |
241s | the first is the server side which is |
243s | performance service stability bug fixes |
246s | you know everything like that |
247s | um |
248s | we've noticed that since around 1.7 a |
250s | lot of these things have kind of |
252s | uh performance in particular has dropped |
254s | for many of you so we've been trying to |
255s | put a lot more focus into that and |
257s | that's something that is going to come |
259s | with update 1.9 which we'll actually |
260s | discuss um a little bit later with uh |
263s | stefan i believe |
264s | yeah all right |
266s | the other aspect then has been around |
267s | retention so giving players a little bit |
269s | more to do during their planes to play |
271s | sessions more opportunities to earn |
272s | rewards |
274s | just you know everything like that that |
275s | keeps people wanting to come back for |
277s | more more often and we felt that these |
280s | have been kind of the vital areas to |
281s | focus on because you know we want to |
283s | ensure that hunt continues and grows and |
285s | contin grows and continues to grow for a |
287s | very long time to come |
289s | um and |
290s | we don't want to be just solely relying |
292s | on our events to pull in big numbers for |
294s | a small period of time and then it go |
296s | back to normal we'd like for those |
298s | things to |
300s | improve substantially and we know that |
301s | we must bring content to do that |
303s | as well |
304s | but |
305s | on top of that one of the things we've |
306s | been trying to focus on is the actual |
308s | long-term sustainability of hunt and |
310s | that's where the monetization stuff |
311s | comes in |
312s | and we know that monetization is a bit |
314s | of a touchy subject not many people like |
316s | uh to talk about it you know and we have |
318s | gotten a lot of feedback that people |
320s | don't really like what we're doing but |
322s | there is a reason for it um we'll we'll |
324s | get into that a little bit more uh with |
326s | the actual monetization video itself |
328s | that will be coming out later this week |
330s | but we wanted to let you know that we |
331s | have actually been working on content as |
332s | well but in the example of like bosses |
335s | and new maps stuff like this can |
336s | actually take anywhere from six to 12 |
338s | months to actually complete and that |
340s | really depends on the level of |
341s | complexity with it so we want to make |
343s | sure the content we produce is top |
345s | quality so that it keeps players engaged |
347s | keeps them coming back for more and |
349s | we'll take our time with this and get it |
351s | right rather than rushing it out so |
353s | that's why we've been because we've been |
355s | working with a lot of the stuff along |
356s | the side we've put more focus on to the |
358s | performance service and everything that |
360s | aspect of it so that we can sustain hunt |
363s | for a long time to come |
365s | so like i said monetization video will |
367s | go into a lot more detail but like we've |
369s | mentioned before on stream that the |
371s | bloodborne economy is not really in a |
372s | stable place at the moment and this |
374s | unsustainable sustainability is going to |
376s | have larger implications on future |
377s | development of hunt so |
380s | this is why we're introducing systems |
382s | around monetization but with the focus |
385s | of player choice meaning that none of |
387s | these things are forced you do not buy |
390s | any of them they're just |
391s | in you know there if you it's something |
393s | that you would actually like to do and |
394s | support us further you know and that's |
397s | where the next feature comes to play as |
399s | well which is the black market |
403s | exactly so now you guys can see the |
405s | slide because until now they could only |

409s | so the black market uh let's talk about |
411s | that let's see what that will bring to |
413s | the table yeah we'll briefly go through |
415s | it and then move on to the performance |
417s | and you know all the other |
421s | up for you in the gamepl so |

425s | the black market is a new way to |
426s | purchase discounted legendary blood bond |

432s | and also to mention with this any of the |
434s | highlighted store items that go out with |
436s | what paid 1.9 will also be available |
439s | through the black market so they will |
440s | also have a discounted rate uh applied |
443s | to them i believe the greatest 20 will |
444s | go into that uh in a little bit correct |
447s | and uh i already seen like a bunch of |
448s | people asking today and previously as |
450s | well it's uh not replacing the or the |
453s | old store at all it's a completely new |
454s | tab in the game so it will be a |
457s | completely new feature and not the |
459s | rework of the old store |

463s | when it comes in with 1.9 there'll be |
466s | three vendors available and they'll each |
468s | have their own theme they'll have |
469s | specific weapon types and weapon sets |
471s | and everything like that so just try to |
474s | you know mix it up with the lore a |
475s | little bit |
476s | each gender will have a limited stock so |
478s | keep that in mind it's not something you |
479s | can buy over and over again |
482s | um all items will be visible so there's |
485s | no nothing hidden you will get to see |
486s | exactly what's available through the |
488s | whole lot of it as you progress through |
490s | but the items will be unlocked in a |
492s | random order so when it's introduced |
494s | they will be there you will see them |
497s | you will be given the first option once |
498s | you purchase that screen will flash over |
501s | and it will open up to a new random one |
503s | within the 10 visible that are available |

506s | and just so you guys see how it looks |
