402s | that there is a bug with the sensitivity |
404s | settings okay uh we are looking into |
406s | this we are going to try and get this as |
408s | sorted as soon as possible so keep an |
410s | eye out we'll we're going to get it |
411s | sorted quickly for you guys okay um so |
414s | just wanted to start it off with that |
416s | but with that we should just probably |
418s | head on over to to the event stuff now |

459s | we're going to go through the new |
460s | weapons and event unlocks and then we're |
462s | going to have a bit of a chat with about |
464s | mr shari and traders moon with our |
466s | narrative team or at least one of them |

470s | but with that we'll start off with |
472s | trader's moon overview so as everyone |
475s | has probably seen from our announcements |
477s | already the event starts on tomorrow on |
480s | the 24th of march and will run until the |
483s | 14th of april |
485s | now with this event we have a couple of |
487s | things lined up so uh xenia anton i'm |
490s | going to let you two talk about the the |
492s | new things that are coming here with |
494s | this event so first up |
496s | so uh for this event we prepared |
499s | something special for you uh first of |
501s | all uh |
503s | with this event uh you will get to brand |
506s | new weapons |
508s | as you can see it's uh |
510s | mentioned on the screen that it is early |
512s | access and we will talk about that |
515s | very soon uh but that's not the only |
518s | thing besides that we also will have two |
521s | brand new variants |
523s | also in the early access |

528s | uh four new legendary weapon unlocks |
531s | so we have a lot coming with this event |
533s | um a lot and and like we said the new |
535s | weapons are probably one of the biggest |
537s | things um and we have a lot to talk |
539s | about with them but the weapon |
541s | specifically we'll go into a little bit |
543s | later with uh the game design guys um |
546s | we'll follow on with kind of what else |
548s | is kind of common with traders moon |
549s | because you know we we have a few things |
551s | here that um you know are a little bit |
554s | extra something we haven't really done |
556s | with the events before um so first off |
558s | we have a new addition which is story |
561s | unlocks so with the event itself is as |
563s | you're progressing through the event you |
564s | will unlock parts of a story that we |
566s | have created based on mr sherry and his |
569s | outings here with the traitors moon |
570s | event there's going to be 15 parts in |
573s | total |
574s | so if you want to you know catch up and |
576s | read up on all the parts you'll have to |
577s | progress through the entire event |
580s | we also have a new event specific trait |
583s | coming so this would be something that |
584s | is going to i believe continue even |
587s | after this event |
588s | uh it is uh something new that we're |
590s | bringing in just to give that extra |
593s | little bit of something um to help |
595s | people along uh through their |
596s | progression |
597s | and then finally we have some extra |
599s | bonuses now probably like what are you |
601s | doing about extra bonuses well we'll go |
603s | into that a little bit more in a bit |

617s | so here is the traders moon event screen |
620s | here is what you're going to be greeted |
621s | with when the event starts tomorrow as |
624s | you can see uh similar to the last event |
626s | the point total is ten thousand |
628s | and you'll notice there's a lot of |
629s | weapon unlocks some ammo unlocks a |
632s | couple of legendaries and some cherry |
634s | contracts and you might also notice as |
636s | well some blood bond unlocks that come |
638s | with |
639s | uh some of them so |
642s | you know i mean everyone knows |
644s | everyone knows what this screen looks |
645s | like but you know that will show you |
647s | anyway uh but anton senior yeah but uh |
649s | yeah there is like one thing you can see |
651s | that this screen looks a little bit uh |
654s | you know more empty than it is usual |
657s | there are a few reasons for that and one |
660s | reason i'd like to keep it as a secret |
661s | so you can go there play the event and |
666s | see like what this screen will reveal to |
668s | you yes it's a good thing i haven't |
670s | really taken any proper pictures of the |
672s | full screen but |
673s | um we will show some parts of it but |
677s | yeah you know we want you to go and at |
678s | least find something yourself so |
681s | can i also quickly add there since you |
683s | mentioned this that blood bonds are |
684s | finally back into the event progression |
686s | because i also want to bring the good |
688s | news yes yes yes yes that is definitely |
690s | good news i know that it's something |
692s | that we have been asked quite a lot over |
693s | the over the last few months and with |
694s | the last few events it wasn't a thing |
696s | but yes that is correct along with the |
699s | uh boost contracts there's an extra 100 |
701s | blood bonds added as a reward so with a |
704s | at each one of those where you get the |
705s | boost you also get 100 blood bonds so |
707s | i'll help you towards whatever legendary |

711s | so yeah so with that then we just you |
713s | know quickly go through this i mean |
715s | the the the main premises of the event |

718s | quite the same as what they have been |
720s | previously you know um you collect event |
722s | points you unlock and you know there's |
725s | nothing too extraordinary or out of the |
726s | ordinary with this event now we know we |
729s | have gotten some feedback that can be a |
731s | bit samey you know um so we wanted to |
734s | just let you know that we are we do have |
736s | plans uh in the future for changing up |
738s | and mixing up the events a little bit i |

745s | we are going to be doing some different |

830s | trying to do is to focus even more on |

836s | gameplay part and yeah because of this |

841s | new source of points that |

846s | presented in these events before |
850s | now you can get |
853s | 30 event points if you extract with at |
855s | least one bounty |
857s | uh please notice that uh the bounty they |
861s | are not stackable so uh you can get 30 |
864s | points uh like no matter how many bounty |

869s | either if it's like one or four of them |
872s | you will get just 30 points cool yeah |
874s | that's actually the first thing i was |
876s | going to ask you actually was what did |
877s | that stack because we've been asked so |
879s | no that's good to know so so yeah like |
881s | you said we're just trying to do a bit |
882s | more of focus on the objective itself |
884s | you know the clues the the pvp the |
887s | getting out with the bounty so i mean |
889s | like you said this was a lot of feedback |
890s | we've gotten through a lot of the last |
892s | few events so you know we kind of we're |
894s | trying to make sure that you know we |
895s | don't just do things we do actually |
897s | listen to what you guys say you know but |
899s | uh so as you can see i mean the points |
901s | have been up there for a while you |
902s | probably see them already but just to |
903s | give you an idea of what it is you're |
905s | going to be smashing around when you do |
907s | find them the big ones are the um |
910s | orwellian effigies the uh kind of three |
913s | tumbleweed ones are classed as the small |
916s | orwellian effigies and then the other |
918s | one the tiny little tumbleweed thingy is |
920s | um the effigies that drop from the boss |
923s | and yes i did call it a tumbleweed |
924s | thingy i don't know the technical term |
926s | or we're just going to make it the |
927s | technical term from now on |
929s | so maybe later bree we will educate you |
932s | how to properly call them yes from the |
934s | narrative perspective yes that's |
936s | actually yeah good thinking how to use |
937s | any good thinking |
939s | so um yeah so that's that's how you earn |
941s | event points this time so um we'll just |
944s | you know where we continue we'll go |
945s | through a quick overview of what you can |
947s | actually unlock so you'll notice uh |
950s | first off in the within the first three |
951s | unlocks you were looking the two new |
953s | variants that we spoke about the |
954s | scottfield brawler and the berthier post |
957s | which we've been cheeky enough to slip |
958s | into images everywhere over the last |
960s | couple of months and only a handful of |
962s | people noticed but you know so we've got |
964s | these two brand new variants which we |
966s | mentioned at the start are two of the |
967s | early access options the caldwell newer |
970s | model 2092 the new army never before |
973s | seen weapon was never on test server or |
975s | anything like that so no one's ever |
976s | tried it out or anything and obviously |
978s | oh that's a joke but um and the winfield |
981s | 93 slate um so yeah so as you see with |
985s | the basically the start the event is |
986s | about getting you those weapons as soon |
989s | as you can within the first half at |
991s | least |
992s | um |
993s | as we said with the contracts you have |
995s | the two hour boost contracts with the |
997s | hundred blood bonds |
998s | and then after that it goes through the |
1001s | uh the ammo for the ammo types for um |
1004s | each of the |
1006s | two new weapons |
1007s | so we have the fmj and the sorry the |
1009s | dum-dum and the fmj from the caldwell |
1011s | penny shot in the slug for the wind |
1013s | field and then the four other legendary |
1016s | skins |
1016s | so and we'll go through those skins a |
1018s | little bit later on in the stream |
1022s | so the next thing as we all know has |
1024s | become synonymous with our events |
1027s | shari contract |
1029s | and as you know may have noticed shari's |
1031s | been mentioned an awful lot and he he |
1033s | plays |
1034s | a bit more of a part in things this time |
1036s | around than just giving people an extra |
1040s | boost |
1041s | so |
1043s | first off anyway you'll see in store in |
1045s | the events page |
1046s | the contracts page as usual so we have |
1049s | same uh four ones that we've had |
1051s | the implied the fix the express and the |
1053s | binding i believe it's like two hours |
1056s | seven hours |
1058s | three days 24 24 sorry |
1060s | 2 hours 24 hours 3 days and 7 days |
1065s | the duration duration uh as for a |
1068s | previous event uh all this metrics has |
1071s | range |
1072s | boost points boost uh and range dark |
1076s | side |
1076s | uh event vision almost uh the same uh |
1081s | the thing is like i'm already |
1083s | looking at the many many questions that |
1085s | like if contracts will be automatically |
1087s | applied from the event progression and |
1088s | when when they purchase yes they will |
1092s | uh yes they will they will be |
1094s | automatically applied uh but also to |
1097s | compensate maybe some frustration that |
1099s | we heard from uh previous events that's |
1102s | basically the reason why we add uh the |
1104s | reward on the progression track together |
1106s | with the contract blood bonds |
1107s | so basically this unlock should be |
1110s | treated as you're working towards like |
1112s | your reward which is a blood bond and on |
1114s | top you're getting the contract that up |
1115s | to you as a player if you want to use or |
1117s | not but it will be applied automatically |
1121s | yeah so that's uh that's pretty much |
1124s | everything with the contracts i mean |
1125s | there's nothing out of the ordinary or |
1127s | overly new with them you know you still |
1129s | get your boost just look at your points |
1130s | you still get the time um and yeah and |
1133s | as you can see the prices are there as |
1134s | well um but the next thing though just |
1136s | to show you about the with the in terms |
1138s | of the store um is actually the traitors |
1140s | moon event bundle |
1142s | that's also something similar or what we |
1145s | had for a winter event |
1147s | uh traitor moon was bundle will contain |
1150s | uh one of the contract |
1152s | uh uh 1000 event points and the |
1156s | legendary skin for choke bomb cicada so |
1158s | basically it's a like |
1160s | starter or progress pack if you want to |
1163s | uh |
1164s | progress faster or run out of time you |
1167s | can you can purchase this bundle and the |
1170s | it will grant like all this |
1172s | uh all these things simultaneously also |
1175s | uh it was to mention that bundle can be |
1177s | purchased like in any time no matter |
1180s | where you are at the progression this uh |
1182s | 1000 event points will be automatically |
1184s | added there and will unlock like |
1186s | everything what's on there |
1188s | also worth to mention that uh all these |
1191s | three items inside the bundle so one |
1194s | thousand event points uh it's a cut the |
1196s | skin and cherry fix contract for sure |
1198s | obviously they can be purchased |
1200s | separately so |
1202s | if someone doesn't like bundle can |
1204s | purchase and needs need only a choke |
1206s | bomb skin the choke bomb scheme can be |
1208s | purchased separately the same with one |
1210s | thousand event points and obviously the |
1212s | contra contract can be constantly |
1213s | repurchased during the event |
1215s | uh one important thing to mention then |
1218s | one thousand event points can be |
1219s | purchased only once so it's not |
1222s | something that someone can just like |
1223s | click with blood once and complete the |
1224s | event no it's one time purchase it's |
1227s | either purchased together with the |
1228s | bundle and then this item becomes |
1230s | unavailable in the event store or can be |
1232s | purchased once uh separated but then |
1235s | bundle becomes unavailable as well |
1238s | cool that's a lot of info thank you very |
1240s | much for that |
1241s | that's awesome so uh yeah so i think |
1244s | that's they're the kind of the main |
1245s | things that we need to go over on that |
1247s | side of things uh with the events to the |
1248s | next stop though we should talk about |
1250s | the uh early access weapons |
1253s | um so like we said at the start we've |
1255s | got two uh brand new variants and two |
1258s | brand new um uh weapons uh that you know |
1262s | i've never never before been seen |
1264s | um uh so yeah four brand new weapons |
1267s | that are unlocked through the event |
1268s | progression like we showed earlier on |
1271s | these weapons cannot be purchased until |
1273s | they are unlocked so you have to unlock |
1275s | it through the event and then you have |
1277s | it'll be available to you in the store |
1278s | so that you can |
1280s | purchase as normal |
1283s | here's where the early access part comes |
1284s | in |
1286s | once the event ends |
1287s | the weapons will only be available to |
1289s | those that unlocked it during the event |
1292s | for a short period of time so before |
1294s | everyone goes crazy on this we're going |
1297s | to clarify it will be a short period of |
1299s | time there's only a couple of weeks |
1301s | but basically the weapons will be there |
1303s | during the event you unlock during the |
1305s | event you get to keep them |
1307s | if you prestige though i i actually said |
1309s | yeah maybe you can clarify will |
1310s | prestiging um |
1312s | remove the weapons |
1315s | no it won't if you are prestigious |
1317s | during the event the |
1320s | the weapon will stay there |
1323s | and it also will stay during the whole |
1326s | early access period so uh you can |
1329s | prestige how many times you want and the |
1332s | weapon should stay there it's kind of |
1334s | same some of our players are already |
1336s | like familiar with that system because |
1338s | we had somewhat similar during the |
1341s | uh light the shadow event with the bow |
1343s | and arrow and throwing axes yeah yeah |
1347s | and then after then it will be like a |
1349s | short period of time a couple of weeks |
1350s | the weapons will then be released with a |
1352s | future update and will be available |
1354s | through the standard bloodline |
1355s | progression so that will just be the |
1357s | main base weapons of course the |
1358s | legendaries are uh for the event uh only |
1362s | you look like you're about to say |
1363s | something senia |
1365s | no no okay |
1367s | just making sure but yeah so that's |
1370s | that's the situation with the early |
1372s | access weapons so like we've said just |
1373s | to recap you can unlock the weapons |
1375s | during the event absolutely no problem |
1377s | once they're unlocked you get to keep |
1378s | them even if you prestige once the event |
1381s | finishes they are no longer available |
1383s | except until a couple of weeks passes |
1385s | and with a future update the weapons |
1386s | will be released to everybody through |
1389s | the standard uh bloodline progression |
1392s | yes and after yeah after they are fully |
1394s | released they follow like the same rule |
1397s | as any other weapon in a game so if you |
1400s | decide to prestige after that |
1403s | then |
1404s | this weapon will be removed and you will |
1406s | need to unlock that again from the |
1407s | bloodline progression |
1409s | cool |
1411s | right so that's it on the weapon side of |
1413s | things anyway and like i said we'll |
1414s | we'll go through the the weapons a bit |
1416s | later with game design and talk about |
1417s | the new ones um and show off all the |
1419s | pretty new uh legendaries that that we |
1421s | have um but the next thing to discuss is |
1423s | the extra bonuses and the first thing |
1426s | is our new event trait |
1429s | which is called the signee |
1432s | so to read it off increase dark sight by |
1434s | three meters and boost event points by |
1435s | ten percent |
1437s | an important part which is nice that |
1439s | it's even in the actual description of |
1440s | the note please note if you have a |
1442s | hunter with this trait after the end of |
1444s | the event the trait will be removed and |
1446s | the trade points will be refunded |
1448s | so and as you see it is |
1450s | 10 upgrade points |
1454s | so yeah what so the the |
1457s | event trait why where where did this |
1459s | where did this come from why why why was |
1461s | this a thought process for you guys what |
1463s | was it that's kind of made yeah let's |
1464s | let's put an extra little something into |
1466s | it |
1467s | uh |
1468s | i don't know like the the the general |
1470s | idea behind that was that uh we'd like |
1473s | to you know |
1475s | give another sources of uh extra event |
1478s | points so people can actually you know |
1481s | choose between like different builds |
1482s | like either they want to |
1484s | uh |
1485s | you know play more efficiently or maybe |
1487s | they want to focus on uh collecting |
1490s | event points so |
1492s | yeah the idea here is uh just to give uh |
1495s | like |
1496s | another option of how you can earn uh |
1500s | event points a little bit more uh |
1503s | you know a |
1505s | bit more efficient yeah give an extra an |
1507s | extra boost throughout the event for |
1508s | whatever hunter you can stick it on to |
1511s | yeah here |
1512s | hear me out there's the story so when |
1515s | when we were when we were in |
1517s | uh like process of designing and like on |
1520s | the very very early stage of the event |
1522s | there was saturday evening anton and i |
1524s | were sitting and discussing like we need |
1526s | to add something on the on the game like |
1528s | directly on the gameplay side what what |
1530s | can boost and what can help people to |
1533s | make points and then we're just like |
1536s | trade |
1537s | event trade that should be event trade |
1539s | and uh again next time for so we were |
1542s | keeping this idea like over the weekend |
1544s | and on monday we decided to verify this |
1547s | and still sound good |
1548s | so we just decided to uh bring this to |
1552s | to the event |
1553s | i mean that that's that's how this |
1555s | that's how this decision was made |
1557s | regarding the trade |
1559s | good to know |
1561s | but yeah um |
1564s | i've seen i'd like to go and talk about |
1567s | it quite a lot so yeah we know like the |
1568s | the the 10 upgrade points we see a lot |
1570s | of people saying it's a bit much and we |
1571s | understand that but it is one of those |
1572s | things that is going to be refunded so |
1575s | if it so happens that it's on a hunter |
1576s | that you intend on keeping for a while |
1578s | once the event is over you get those 10 |
1580s | points back so you so you can use them |
1582s | for uh whatever it is you need for the |
1584s | chunks or other traits or anything like |
1586s | that so um just keep that in mind this |
1588s | is just an extra little thing you know |
1590s | it's not needed it's not necessary um |
1593s | you you'll be able to progress through |
1594s | the event |
1595s | you know pretty much no issues the same |
1598s | um but it's just a handy little extra |
1600s | thing if you've got some great points to |
1601s | se to spare |
1604s | so um with that then we we |
1606s | as we're talking about the extra bonuses |
1608s | um we'll go through the next part which |

1613s | the traders moon dlc hunter event boost |
1617s | i can take over from here uh so |
1620s | as you know together with the event we |
1622s | are going to release |
1625s | um meridian trunk called dlc |

1632s | uh so and basically using the hunter |
1635s | from this dlc also will give you a boost |
1638s | post point so basically you can just |
1642s | uh equip this hunter to do mission to |
1644s | bounty hunt or |
1646s | quick play |
1647s | and you will get permanent bonus for |
1649s | event points and for for the dark side |
1652s | that's basically how it works okay |

1661s | the thing is that not only uh turncoal |
1663s | the only brand new hunter will be will |
1666s | provide this bonus but also but also |
1668s | three preview previous already existing |
1670s | uh hunters that you can already even own |

1675s | mission go to the mission and bonus will |
1677s | be automatically uh automatically |
1680s | applied to this hunter and the bonus so |
1684s | basically there's a turn called keith |
1686s | the rat and the hunter was with which |
1689s | name i'm struggling always to pronounce |
1690s | so please rick do it for me lauren is |

1695s | so and uh this 400 countries will grant |
1698s | uh plus 10 |
1700s | of the event points boost and plus three |
1702s | meter of the dark side vision increase |

1706s | chat they're like oh three meters for |
1708s | the trade it's so it's so lit so it's |
1710s | not actually helping but now imagine |
1712s | that you have the trade and you're |
1713s | playing with this hunter so and they're |
1716s | stacking between each other |
1718s | so that's completely different the |
1720s | different topic there |
1723s | well yeah so |
1725s | again just an extra little thing you |
1726s | know it's not something that you have to |
1728s | do but |
1729s | so happen to have these hunters is |
1731s | definitely something that you can't take |
1732s | advantage of um and again just like the |
1735s | trade just like everything else really |
1736s | it's just that extra little bonus to be |
1738s | able to help people to get through it |
1739s | maybe you don't have as much time |
1741s | uh you know |
1743s | there could be multiple reasons but you |
1744s | know it's just to give everybody an |
1746s | opportunity to be able to earn as much |
1748s | as they can during their time |
1751s | but yeah it's also worth the mention |
1754s | that uh all of these bonuses they are |
1756s | stackable together so to get maximum |
1760s | performance you can uh |
1762s | play with the this specific hunter you |
1765s | can get a trade and you can also put a |

2038s | interested we've been teasing them a |

2041s | test server recently as well for uh just |

2044s | you know check out a few things make |
2046s | sure that everything was in working |
2047s | order um so we'll go back to the |
2049s | presentation here and first things first |
2051s | we're going to talk about |
2054s | the |
2055s | winfield slate |
2058s | yeah let's paul take us through it |
2061s | so uh as |
2062s | rick said some of you may have already |
2064s | played with these weapons uh but |
2067s | uh we obviously made some changes from |
2068s | the test server so let's just go through |
2070s | uh what these new weapons are for people |
2072s | who also didn't play so yeah the |
2074s | windfall 93 slate is a new shotgun it's |
2078s | a large slot six round capacity pump |
2080s | action |
2081s | uh similar to the spectre |
2084s | but this one um also has a newer |
2087s | mechanism so it's it was made slightly |
2089s | uh slightly later in in the period so |
2092s | yeah this spectre was in like the 80s or |
2094s | something like that yeah yeah 1880s yeah |
2096s | yeah and then this one's the 93 so this |
2098s | one is a bit more modern not in terms of |
2101s | our times but in terms of their times it |
2103s | was |
2104s | cutting edge you could say |
2106s | um |
2107s | which |
2108s | makes it |
2109s | a bit kind of better in in some ways and |
2111s | a little bit worse in other ways so for |
2112s | example it uh it's easier to like rack |
2115s | the slides so it's we we have a faster |
2117s | rate of fire on this one right |
2120s | um we also uh can |
2123s | allow for a faster reload |
2126s | this mainly because the inspector |
2128s | doesn't uh allow you to |
2130s | top up the tube without opening the |
2132s | slide so this one does allow that and |
2134s | that's that's the the whole pop-out of |
2136s | the cartridge thing as well it's like |
2137s | you know it's it's a little bit |
2139s | different from this because i believe |
2140s | what we have on this one and we'll go to |
2142s | the next page um is a top load uh |
2145s | ability built into this |
2147s | yeah so um |
2149s | well we could just go through the the |
2151s | ammo that we have yeah we have slug and |
2153s | penny shot so that's the customer we |
2155s | have and here you can see on the screen |
2157s | the amounts that we give yeah these were |
2159s | some values that we tweaked based on the |
2161s | test server feedback so these are the |
2162s | new values um people didn't get to see |
2165s | those |
2166s | uh but one very important thing about |
2167s | this weapon is it does not require |
2169s | bullet grabber because of this uh for |
2172s | its ability to top up the tube without |
2174s | having to open the slide |
2175s | right um |
2177s | and then another cool thing that it says |
2178s | on the screen there is that you can load |
2180s | one directly into the chamber um which |
2183s | only happens when it's empty right but |
2186s | this makes it |
2187s | makes for a quick recovery if uh you're |
2190s | completely empty you can just quickly |
2191s | put one in cancel and you've got one |
2193s | round to go if you're in the corner or |
2195s | something like that i believe we have a |
2197s | video of that in a moment so we can we |
2198s | can show that in action which is it's |
2200s | pretty cool it does it i it does kind of |
2202s | make it very handy and kind of |
2205s | like oh [ __ ] moments you know um that's |
2207s | the only way to kind of put it really to |
2208s | be honest with you you know so but but |
2210s | first off we'll give everybody a look |
2211s | for those of you who haven't seen it |
2213s | already so this is the will winfield |
2214s | 1893 slate uh i got two lovely shots of |
2218s | it there so um next we have the the |
2220s | first video and hopefully this plays |
2223s | without any issue um and this is just no |
2226s | traits no nothing just standard using |
2228s | the gun |
2231s | or tower it always gets |
2234s | destroyed |
2235s | yeah |
2236s | one day i'll take its revenge i'm sure |

2241s | so as you can see the the rate of fire |

2243s | not significantly but slightly faster |
2245s | than the spectre yeah um and you got a |
2248s | glimpse there at the the loading from |
2250s | the top of the chamber as well |
2253s | yeah i think i can go back to it once |

2260s | so you can you can see i mean straight |
2261s | off it is it does feel much faster uh in |
2264s | in your hands in comparison to the um |
2267s | the spectre so um |
2269s | i think it's i think it's really cool |
2270s | i've had a chance to use it it's a lot |
2272s | of fun really to be honest with you um |
2275s | it's a great one to bring in but we have |
2277s | another video here of using the |
2279s | correct me if i'm wrong the iron |
2281s | devastator trait yes yes so it would be |
2284s | the aim down sights uh trait |
2290s | uh it's worth noting um i recorded this |
2292s | video and |
2293s | the rate of fire is technically faster |
2295s | here but we kind of gauged rate of fire |
2297s | here based on actually how fast you |
2299s | could use it because you can shoot |
2301s | before the sights line up but it's just |
2303s | not practical so |
2305s | um yeah yeah i kind of |
2307s | re found my target here and shot again |
2309s | so yeah |
2311s | oh yep and then the last one then is uh |
2315s | this is uh oh actually it's repeating it |
2317s | again once more because you know the |
2318s | presentation does whatever the hell it |
2320s | likes |
2323s | it has such a beefy sound to it i really |
2325s | love it |
2327s | i know it's probably not the most |
2328s | important thing but like to me i just i |
2330s | love this the the way the sound team |
2332s | design um the sounds around their their |
2334s | weapons are so |
2335s | it's just |
2336s | yeah it's it's beautiful but then next |
2338s | up so we have what you were saying about |
2340s | that kind of quick reload um uh uh thing |
2343s | where it's like you know if you're |
2344s | completely empty you can pop one in for |
2346s | a quick shot pop one in for a quick shot |
2348s | and uh we'll play that there |
2350s | so you see no ammo whatsoever pops what |
2353s | within |
2361s | so you can see here you can interrupt |
2363s | the the charge that you would normally |
2365s | do and then just it straight up put one |
2367s | in so you don't have to wait for it to |
2368s | charge and then put one in makes for a |
2370s | really quick |
2372s | uh you know safety shot if you need to |
2374s | if you're in trouble |
2376s | yeah |
2377s | i've also just realized i was talking |
2378s | about the sound and there is no sound |
2380s | playing |
2382s | from it so yeah i'm very sorry about |
2384s | that folks um |
2386s | yeah just dev stream things you know not |
2388s | nothing to see here but look take my |
2389s | word for it it sounds beautiful okay |
2391s | it's really nice and |
2392s | punchy it's probably the only way i can |

2401s | it is a lot newer in terms of technology |
2404s | compared to the spectre so um that was |
2406s | one of the the main design |
2408s | points that we wanted to show with this |

2410s | of course the the main difference here |
2412s | with the specter is the specter is a |
2414s | long barrel so and this one's a medium |
2416s | barrel so this one will perform a little |
2419s | bit worse in terms of you know effective |
2422s | range and damage and stuff like that so |
2424s | it's one thing to keep in mind with this |
2425s | one as well cool |
2427s | right awesome well with that i think we |
2429s | can probably move on to the next one |
2431s | then |
2432s | yeah i think so the next up is the |
2434s | caldwell 92 new |
2437s | army yeah so |
2440s | yeah this one is our new small slot |
2441s | compact ammo double action revolver with |
2444s | a six round capacity |
2445s | quite a mouthful there but yeah yeah it |
2447s | is |
2448s | but if you get it right it just rolls |
2450s | off the tongue you know yeah exactly um |
2453s | so this one is most comparable to the |
2455s | negan officer and uh also the scott |
2457s | field and we can kind of say why in the |
2459s | next slide so yeah |
2462s | yeah so in |
2463s | oh carry on no no you're |
2468s | yeah |
2469s | so in terms of uh the scott field uh the |
2471s | cylinder is the most similar part and |
2473s | how it's reloaded because it is a break |
2476s | open um |
2478s | revolver but this one it's a slightly |
2480s | different because it it breaks to the |
2481s | left so it rolls out to the side |
2484s | which is so field as a top break right |
2487s | yes exactly yeah yeah um and this one |
2489s | uses |
2490s | like it says there an injector to remove |
2492s | the use rounds |
2493s | the two differences here is that this |
2494s | one is a manual ejector the the hunter |
2497s | actually has to move them themselves |
2499s | right uh whereas the scott field kind of |
2501s | does it when the action is open so you |
2503s | can kind of flick it open right |
2505s | but this one is just iconic revolver i |
2508s | think in a lot of games you'll see you |
2510s | won't see the top top break you'll see |
2512s | always a slide out um |
2514s | swing out revolver which makes some |
2515s | really cool animations |
2517s | okay and and how then does it compare we |
2519s | said it also has a comparison with like |
2521s | the nagant a bit um so where is that |
2524s | in terms of the gun play what what we |
2526s | kind of |
2527s | expect to see there |
2529s | yeah so i mean the main thing is it's |
2531s | also a compact ammo so |
2534s | it |
2534s | doesn't have as much stopping power as |
2536s | the scott field so |
2537s | in terms of the nagan this one is also a |
2539s | double action like we mentioned before |
2541s | which means you don't need to [ __ ] the |
2543s | hammer |
2545s | manually it will just automatically do |
2546s | it when you pull the trigger far enough |
2549s | so that's that's where it's the closest |
2551s | which means it can fire quite fast uh in |
2554s | terms of uh comparing to the officer it |
2556s | is a little bit slower in terms of rate |
2558s | of fire |
2559s | but it's also made up for in the fact |
2561s | that the bullet on this gun was actually |
2564s | slightly bigger than the um |
2567s | you mean |
2568s | you mean the real life uh |
2570s | yeah yeah yeah exactly yeah um so we |
2573s | wanted to make sure that you know we |
2574s | followed the real life kind of |
2576s | sizing here we made a little bit more |
2578s | damage in terms of because of the bullet |
2580s | being slightly bigger |
2581s | and of course |
2582s | one another cool uh cool thing was that |
2584s | the real life bullet also uh just wasn't |
2587s | as fast um but this wasn't always just |
2589s | because of the bullet um the actual the |
2592s | gan officer um |
2593s | was a bit newer so it had this new this |
2595s | like technology where it could seal the |
2598s | the chamber closer to the barrel which |
2600s | meant that it could |
2602s | a lot less um |
2603s | speed was lost from uh that like hole in |
2606s | between the two so this one uh doesn't |
2609s | have that so again it's quite a bit |
2611s | slower which is its main drawback uh |
2615s | compared to then again |
2616s | okay cool |
2618s | and then the ammo types |
2620s | yeah so nothing brand new here obviously |
2622s | we we already have these ones but this |
2625s | one also has dum-dum and fmj so fmga is |
2627s | a good one here obviously everyone knows |
2629s | that i mean |
2631s | so yeah definitely so it is a nice one i |
2634s | mean i'm i'm not going to lie i'm quite |
2635s | partial to the dum-dum ammo myself just |
2637s | because i find it really funny to make |
2639s | people just bleeding yeah from distances |
2641s | you know yeah same with the shed it's |
2642s | just i just i i enjoy it what can i say |
2645s | i'm weird but uh you know yeah so uh and |
2647s | i mean we see there it's like six uh six |
2650s | in the chamber 12 uh reserve |
2652s | so um yeah we'll just show a couple of |
2654s | pictures of it then and we have i think |
2655s | one video of it you don't really really |
2656s | need many more videos because it doesn't |
2658s | it's not like the the slate and working |
2660s | with traits or anything like that but uh |

2740s | plunger to empty them all out |

2756s | rapid fire get down to one last bullet |

3100s | film work and then i saw the 2013 |
3103s | trailer for kingdom hearts 3 |
3104s | cried to my mom about it obviously and |
3107s | then decided that i wanted to work in |
3109s | games and a lot of stumbling and falling |
3112s | and somehow i'm here |
3113s | awesome awesome well it's great to have |

3119s | much away about the story obviously |
3120s | today but i do have to say i have read |
3122s | what you have written for this and |

3132s | reaction and that being your lead-in you |

3178s | but as you have been doing a lot of this |
3180s | stuff and helping us as well on the |
3182s | community team with some of our uh plans |

3186s | that um i thought i'd invite you on and |

3190s | talk and tease people about uh what's |
3192s | coming up uh in uh the traitors moon |

3201s | i think one of the first things we |
3203s | should probably get to and it's |
3204s | something that that's been asked in the |
3205s | chat since the the moment |
3207s | it started since the moment it was |
3209s | introduced to the game |
3211s | who the hell is mr sherry like |
3215s | where did this guy just come from like |
3216s | he's all of a sudden he's this |
3219s | dude that's here and he's everywhere but |
3222s | we don't know what's going on so where |
3224s | where's where's cherry come from what |
3226s | what's the deal with him |
3228s | so i |
3229s | am not allowed to say too much about |
3231s | where he comes from but from a kind of |
3235s | peek behind the curtain perspective |
3238s | for the winter solstice event we wanted |
3240s | to bring in someone who would |
3243s | share the original contracts and |
3247s | i was kind of trying to figure out who |
3249s | this person would be and he actually |
3251s | started out as a very different person |
3253s | uh the definition of the word sherry |
3256s | actually means someone who's reluctant |
3257s | to do something so he was kind of gonna |
3259s | be this like weird skittish guy who was |
3262s | just |
3262s | kind of trying to do his job but as we |
3265s | move forward and |
3267s | we wanted to |
3269s | kind of develop his character more i was |
3271s | like what if what if he had a little bit |
3274s | more |
3275s | more of an appeal so i i wanted to make |
3277s | him this kind of mysterious rich |
3279s | benefactor who |
3281s | ended up turning out to be the |
3283s | administrator for the american hunters |
3285s | association |
3286s | so he will you know give you the |
3288s | contracts he obviously gives you dark |
3290s | tribute which is that really |
3293s | something for the american hunters |
3294s | association or not not sure |
3297s | but he'll he'll usually do all the |
3299s | clerical and paper tasks |
3302s | okay so more more like administrator |
3304s | rather than kind of getting down and |
3306s | dirty with the rest of the hunters and |
3308s | you know getting his hands dirty with |
3310s | with the the grunts and the hives and |
3312s | everything like that okay so i mean he |
3314s | like |
3316s | he's older he's become like quite |
3317s | significant and i think that this event |
3319s | he probably even becomes a little bit |
3321s | more |
3322s | um significant to the aha so i mean do |
3326s | you want to kind of i don't maybe you |
3327s | can't give us too much because obviously |
3328s | we don't want to spoil the story for you |
3330s | guys we don't want to tell you |
3331s | everything that's going to happen |
3332s | but it's just one thing we do know with |
3335s | the with the side of the community that |
3336s | really loves digging into our lore |
3337s | they're always asking who's mr sherry |
3339s | who's this who's that what's going to |
3341s | happen here who's so |
3343s | we thought maybe give you guys a little |
3344s | bit of a treat you know so |

3348s | what's his significance at the moment |

3361s | who knows what's happening in the bayou |
3363s | and wants to make a change |

3368s | help the aha help hunters in any way he |

3374s | doing some experiments to figure some |
3376s | things out |

3380s | all right well look we'll we'll talk a |
3381s | bit more about that in a little bit |

3385s | if we go back through the lore there's |
3387s | been a couple of um other than mr sherry |
3389s | there's been two other mentions of |
3392s | things and i mean obviously this event |
3394s | being traitors moon |
3395s | and i believe we had a mention of the |
3397s | moon as well in uh our previous event |
3399s | around uh uh the holidays um so the moon |
3402s | is something that's that that's it seems |
3404s | to be a bit of a imagery that we're |
3406s | sticking with uh going here and on top |
3408s | of that as well we've also mentioned the |
3410s | sculptor once or twice i think going |
3412s | back as far as the harvest at halloween |
3415s | um |
3416s | so like what's what's the deal with with |
3418s | these two what's uh like the sculptor |
3420s | can can you give us much about the |
3422s | sculpture |
3423s | the sculptor i keep pronouncing it wrong |
3424s | sorry yeah can you give us much about |
3426s | him or her or whatever it may be |
3430s | yeah |
3431s | uh so uh as i read the lord dis chord |
3435s | for our channel uh a lot of people have |
3437s | gotten this right that the sculptor is |
3439s | the main reason for the corruption |
3441s | that's happening in the bayou he's the |
3442s | reason |
3443s | that |
3444s | the grunts are there meatheads etc |
3447s | and basically plaguing everything that's |
3449s | happening |
3450s | so |
3451s | he he's a force to reckon with but one |
3454s | that we haven't seen yet and right again |
3456s | that's all i can say yeah yeah no that's |
3458s | fine that's fine i mean look it's still |
3460s | that's probably more than i think we've |
3462s | said about the sculptor at any point so |
3464s | um no it's really cool um and what about |
3467s | the moon so like i mean like the moon |
3469s | itself is kind of i mean it it flows |
3471s | throughout lore and history everywhere |
3473s | really to be honest with you so i mean |
3475s | what what significance is it having in |
3478s | hunt at this point |
3480s | yeah you can probably guess that like |
3481s | narrative design team |
3483s | definitely has a thing for |
3485s | witchcraft and paganism and just |
3488s | learning about all that stuff and |
3490s | through our research we |
3491s | ended up seeing a lot of motifs of the |
3494s | moon |
3495s | a lot of rituals or revolving around the |
3498s | moon are for giving people power or for |
3501s | cleansing things and ridding things of |
3503s | evil spirits so |
3505s | kind of now for this event where |
3508s | we're doing a sculpture versus moon |
3510s | thing where |
3511s | the sculptor has almost |
3514s | reflected back on the moon and reflected |
3516s | back on its power |
3518s | uh so it's kind of twisting that |
3521s | in order to |
3523s | do again something that i can't exactly |
3526s | explain right now yeah of course |
3528s | uh yeah so essentially when people try |
3532s | and use that power again to either make |
3534s | themselves more powerful or cleanse |
3536s | themselves it's having the opposite |
3539s | effect and twisting everything and |
3541s | turning everything to dust |
3544s | interesting interesting and and so i |
3546s | mean in that like so what what events |
3548s | the events in the bayou were clearly |
3550s | having enough impact as well |
3552s | i'm assuming on the moon based on all of |
3554s | this so i mean can you how much detail |
3556s | are you able to give on this i mean i'm |
3558s | sure that i'd say i'm sure i am sure the |
3561s | the story that you'll unlock um through |
3563s | the event does give a lot more detail on |
3565s | this but i mean can if you can touch on |
3567s | it a bit like how are the events in the |
3569s | bayou actually |
3570s | affecting the moon and to the person in |
3572s | the chat that said nuke the moon no why |
3574s | would you do such a thing |

3577s | so yeah |
3578s | no please do not nuke the moon uh if if |
3582s | you ever see an option in game that says |
3583s | nuke moon please we we ask you don't do |

3588s | yeah so a big thing is that it will |
3591s | the moon will affect how people act and |
3593s | behave |

3596s | definitely be something that intrigues |
3598s | mr sherry himself uh and seeing as he's |
3601s | already started with some rituals that a |
3604s | few of you have probably already |
3606s | participated in uh he's he's gonna |
3608s | continue his experiments and his work |
3610s | around paganism so you should be sure to |
3613s | watch out for it yeah and like we said |
3615s | the story uh the 15 chapters is i think |
3618s | there's one for every |
3619s | uh rank that you unlock or every uh uh |
3622s | bracket that you come to in the event |
3623s | points list um so you know make sure |
3626s | that you actually read through this |
3627s | guy's like seriously it is absolutely uh |
3630s | enthralling uh and i i was i a moment i |
3633s | i opened it i had to stop reading it |
3635s | about halfway through at first um just |
3637s | because i was too busy um but i was like |
3639s | i can't i must i have to go back i need |
3641s | to what's going on what's happening with |
3643s | this what happened to this guy you know |
3645s | just like this there's really a lot |
3647s | going on so uh like i said it's like the |
3649s | deepest dive i think we've ever done |
3650s | into kind of ever any story and lore and |
3653s | i mean by by reading it it looks like |
3656s | and and i obviously i got to see like |
3658s | how you guys were interacting a little |
3660s | bit with in that kind of comments and |
3661s | the documents and everything like that |
3663s | and to see how excited you were all |
3665s | getting about this i mean so like what's |
3667s | it like with the team and kind of coming |
3669s | up with the ideas like this i mean |
3671s | what's what gives you inspiration uh |
3673s | like gives you and the other guys |
3674s | inspiration to |
3675s | to come up with the stories that you |
3677s | have come up with so far i mean we've |
3679s | got like the the halloween story i |
3680s | believe you were involved in that the |
3682s | christmas story um and possibly some |
3685s | others and i'm sorry if i'm not |
3686s | mentioning them all correctly but and |
3688s | and traders moon as well obviously so |
3690s | tell us a little bit about the creative |
3692s | process with you guys like how do you |
3693s | come up with this stuff where's your |
3694s | where's your inspiration |
3697s | so uh a big running joke in the office |
3700s | is that uh |
3703s | more often than not on our floor people |
3705s | can hear maniacal laughter uh echoing |
3707s | through the hallway |
3709s | uh so we can vouch for that i'm on the |
3711s | same floor as you when i'm over in the |
3712s | office so definitely can vouch for that |
3714s | the maniacal laughing is |
3716s | on point i have to say |
3718s | yes thank you uh but yeah so we usually |
3721s | like |
3722s | well we'll kind of like give each other |
3724s | a look and be like |
3725s | what if x was y and we kind of tumble in |
3728s | through there because we are all kind of |
3731s | huge nerds which kind of comes with the |
3732s | territory and we've have lots of obscure |
3736s | research that we've done |
3737s | uh literally when i entered this company |
3740s | they immediately taught me about the |
3741s | kentucky meat shower which if you're |
3743s | watching i welcome you to google it it's |
3745s | great um |
3747s | but we we all come with our own areas of |
3750s | expertise and our own |
3752s | histories of things that we're |
3753s | interested in so |
3755s | we'll take those we'll kind of build off |
3757s | of each other and then |
3759s | we'll kind of get a concrete outline and |
3761s | idea and then go back to our |
3764s | our respective areas write things down |
3766s | and then share with each other so that |
3768s | we can |
3769s | build everything up we really enjoy |
3771s | collaborating with each other i |
3773s | not to brag think i am like part of the |
3775s | best team uh in the company no offense |
3778s | to anyone else i mean i don't know about |
3779s | that the community team is pretty damn |
3781s | awesome so you know but hey look you |
3783s | know we could each have our favorites |

3786s | maybe there's a bicycle we'll have to |

3789s | team versus team like brawl match to see |
3792s | who comes out on top but you know sounds |

3808s | cool i mean it's it's really good to get |
3809s | a kind of a bit of an insight now i mean |
3811s | i know we can't kind of go into the all |
3812s | the ins and outs because we'll start |
3814s | start giving away too much of the story |
3816s | of not not just of traders moon but of |
3819s | you know a bunch of things as well um so |
3822s | let's kind of like let's take a bit of a |
3824s | step forward into kind of the plans the |
3826s | plans because like we we've hinted mr |
3828s | sherry he's not going anywhere uh he's |
3831s | he's he's got some things that he's |
3833s | doing like yeah i think i believe you |
3834s | mentioned experiments and stuff a little |
3835s | while ago |
3836s | so you know |
3838s | it seems that he's going to be a little |
3840s | bit more of a thing going forward in |
3842s | terms of story-wise at least anyway and |
3845s | not just the dude who gives us contracts |
3847s | you know so i mean i'm i'm i'm almost |
3850s | certain you're not going to be able to |
3852s | give too much away but what's |
3854s | can you give us any hints about what's |
3856s | going to come in with with sherry is he |
3858s | going to be significant is this just a a |
3860s | once off and we never talk about him |

3862s | you know what what way is it going to |
3864s | work this way |

3868s | as a lot of people already know we |
3870s | tend to have a lot of stories within our |
3873s | lore we feel that |
3875s | all of louisiana and especially new |
3877s | orleans is big and there are lots of |
3878s | moving parts so we tend to try and tell |
3881s | stories and then drop them but one of |
3884s | the things that we really wanted to do |
3885s | this year and especially with events |
3887s | because |
3888s | the team has been so |
3890s | open to it is that we want to tell |
3893s | a whole story in a year so |
3896s | you're gonna have to deal with mr cherry |
3898s | not just with the features that include |
3901s | him but also for the events as well so i |
3903s | really hope you're ready to |
3905s | to see all the mischief that he's ready |
3907s | to cause even though he's just trying to |
3909s | do his best |
3910s | well i mean me personally i am excited |
3912s | i'm very very excited to see what what |
3914s | comes with it i think it's great that |

3918s | mean i've been kind of ever since i saw |
3920s | the story i've been singing narratives |

3923s | do so because i just think it's it's so |

3928s | team you guys you kind of outdo |

3931s | write something new so you know at least |

4319s | for people who would like to start out |
4321s | in narrative based things |
4324s | i guess the big thing would be make sure |
4327s | that you're writing and make sure that |
4329s | you're putting your work out there i |
4330s | know that there are a lot of narrative |
4333s | designers that will start entwine and |
4334s | make their interactive stories and put |
4336s | them on itch |
4337s | etc but you know build up your portfolio |
4340s | make sure that you're still |
4342s | watching movies and reading books and |
4344s | getting lots of cool |
4346s | water for your stories and put your work |
4348s | out there and apply as much as possible |
4352s | and would you recommend say like any any |
4354s | courses or anything like that people |
4356s | could do on the side as well that might |
4357s | help them or you know i mean like any |
4360s | experience is always good no matter what |
4361s | position you're going for you know um |
4363s | but i'm sure like with something when it |
4364s | comes to narrative sure there's probably |
4366s | a couple of courses so do you know of |
4367s | anything that might be worth while |

4374s | there are definitely online courses that |
4376s | if you go to sites like udemy or if |
4379s | you're able to get access to say the gdc |
4382s | vault there are lots of those master |
4385s | classes that you can get into |
4388s | to learn but it's it's about a balance |

4393s | means to take a course because of time |
4394s | or money you can still |
4397s | get into narrative design so don't let |
