| 33s | um we might be a bit too dressed a bit |
| 35s | too fancy for the baron to solve but you |
| 37s | know we had we thought we had to go all |
| 39s | out for this very very special occasion |
| 41s | um speaking of the special occasion you |
| 43s | know uh we're presenting here the awards |
| 46s | for the hunt Showdown video awards so |
| 48s | um just to give you some insights we had |
| 50s | around 600 different entries from around |
| 53s | 450 plus different creators so it's been |
| 56s | really amazing to see exactly how much |
| 58s | uh effort people actually put into uh |
| 60s | all this it's absolutely incredible I'm |
| 63s | then on top of that our team has worked |
| 65s | countless hours to go through all of the |
| 67s | videos all of the categories to select |
| 69s | the |
| 70s | um to select the nominees so that you |
| 73s | the community could vote on them for us |
| 76s | so we'd like to thank you all for the |
| 78s | extra outstanding submissions |
| 81s | um and with that thanks yeah and also we |
| 84s | have to thank our amazing partners and |
| 86s | sponsors for this full Awards hunt |
| 88s | Showdown video awards so we have first |
| 90s | of all NZXT with a custom made gaming PC |
| 94s | for the Community Choice Award it looks |
| 96s | amazing right it's absolutely it's crazy |
| 98s | then we had AMD for the trailer category |
| 101s | and they actually have a GPU and CPU |
| 104s | bundle for the winner so that's going to |
| 105s | be great for anybody who's you know |
| 107s | looking to upgrade the system again |
| 108s | right now has frames out of hunt you |
| 111s | know definitely uh we also have |
| 112s | Alienware with an actually insane uh |
| 116s | gaming laptop it's actually crazy and on |
| 119s | top of that they will actually give |
| 120s | rewards for all the nominees in that |
| 122s | category with some peripherals yeah so |
| 124s | thank you AMD and that's obviously the |
| 126s | action category and uh yeah lastly we |
| 129s | have MSI for the freestyle category and |
| 132s | they are giving away a custom PC case |
| 135s | so I mean I'm very sorry actually I was |
| 138s | like giving away your gaming monitor |
| 139s | that's 165 Hertz and it's actually |
| 142s | mind-blowing really nice too uh we |
| 144s | actually have pictures for all the |
| 146s | reverse on our social channel so if you |
| 147s | go back a bit you can check those out |
| 149s | and all they were just super cool but as |
| 151s | you mentioned a while ago the the one |
| 153s | for the NZXT is going to be the |
| 155s | Community Choice Award so that's the one |
| 157s | where it's the best video out of every |
| 159s | category that we have there so we're |
| 161s | really really excited to get this but |
| 162s | before we go into the nominees we would |
| 164s | like to thank everyone once again for |
| 166s | all of your entries and submissions |
| 168s | um it really wasn't easy selecting who |
| 170s | the best out of these were because |
| 171s | there's so many awesome entries so um we |
| 174s | wanted to give some shout outs as well |
| 176s | to to some of the people who may have |
| 178s | missed out on getting nominated like we |
| 180s | said there was a hell of a lot of good |
| 181s | videos there so Ben's is going to give a |
| 183s | bit of a shout out to some of the the |
| 184s | top ones that were just that little bit |
| 186s | short from getting into the main |
| 188s | category yeah and I'm very sorry if I'm |
| 190s | butchering anyone's name or entry's name |
| 191s | because there are some tricky names in |
| 193s | there but again as Rick said there were |
| 195s | so many amazing entries that it was very |
| 197s | hard to select the nominees and we are |
| 199s | super excited to see who won in each |
| 201s | category |
| 202s | but uh so we had some amazing work like |
| 204s | Adam of every verse uh Ballad of one |
| 207s | blands yaroslav zastevs Miriam detective |
| 210s | de presage with the Witch Hunt |
| 214s | missed's Creative Visions campfire |
| 216s | Productions cover of bullet lullaby that |
| 219s | was a great one a letter from a friend |
| 221s | by develer kajma's firework display that |
| 224s | was really creative actually home rules |
| 226s | rules to survive icy kitchen is Bayou |
| 229s | Blitz shooksies behind the scope sniper |
| 233s | interview and many many more but again |
| 236s | we couldn't list any everyone here there |
| 238s | were just too many but we are super |
| 239s | grateful for all the entries yeah we'll |
| 241s | be here for hours if we were to list off |
| 243s | everyone but so thank you again you've |
| 244s | all done amazing job it was a pleasure |
| 247s | to actually watch through all of that |
| 249s | you gave us so |
| 250s | um so you know everyone internally as |
| 252s | well you know they all had different |
| 253s | favorites when we were going through all |
| 255s | of it so it's just so it speaks to the |
| 258s | quality and strength as to how close |
| 260s | this whole competition from the number |
| 263s | side of things so |
| 265s | with that I think maybe we should get |
| 267s | down to the nominations portion so the |
| 269s | way we're going to work this is we're |
| 271s | going to go through the nominations for |
| 272s | each category first and then after that |
| 274s | we're going to go through all the awards |
| 275s | we're going to have some guests on with |
| 277s | us to to present it so I think first |

| 281s | um I guess we look at the at least you |
| 282s | tried category good let's take a look at |

| 629s | Bay wannabes with the way the explosions |
| 631s | and everything like that I mean it's |
| 632s | incredible that we're in such a short |
| 633s | space of time we're able to get such |
| 635s | high quality content out of everyone |
| 637s | that I participated so it's yeah truly I |
| 640s | think the only word we can use for that |
| 641s | is truly left speechless you know it's |
| 643s | very nice to be in our shoes in this |
| 644s | time as like parts of the community team |
| 646s | and to see such an amazing Community |
| 648s | with so many talented players in there I |
| 651s | mean we've always been very proud of our |
| 652s | community and it just Awards our Awards |
| 655s | things like this allow us to actually |
| 656s | really see |
| 658s | um exactly how talented all of you guys |
| 660s | are so again you know thank you everyone |
| 662s | who submitted thank you everyone who has |

| 787s | closed you can no longer vote on our |
| 789s | website and you can no longer pick if |
| 791s | you didn't get a chance then well sorry |
| 793s | tough but for everybody else that did |
| 795s | nominee thank you very much for taking |
| 797s | the time out to go and check out these |
| 799s | videos I'm sure the guys who made the |
| 800s | video is going to be very very thankful |
| 801s | for all the support that they've gotten |
| 803s | um and yeah with that I think uh we you |
| 805s | could say that there were multiple |
| 807s | thousands of votes of each category so |
| 809s | it was there were several thousand votes |
| 811s | were put in into each category so it's |
| 813s | pretty insane that our community turned |
| 815s | out like this and you know again thank |
| 817s | you it's it's it's been an amazing uh |
| 819s | Journey creating the hon Showdown video |
| 820s | awards to up to this point so we're |
| 822s | really really thankful for everybody |
| 823s | that is good whether you're working |
| 825s | internally with us and Tech or whether |
| 827s | you're one of the people that submitted |
| 829s | or just you voted on your favorite so |
| 830s | thank you very much to everybody so with |

| 910s | creativity and bringing memes and and |
| 913s | creating new memories this category |

| 1351s | know them all but I'm gonna watch them |
| 1352s | yeah yeah okay that one I'm watching |
| 1354s | right now I'm gonna pick that one and I |
| 1355s | have that same reaction every single |
| 1357s | time I watched the next video so it was |
| 1359s | overwhelming to say the least but just |
| 1362s | humbling honestly it was it was a |
| 1364s | humbling experience I couldn't make half |
| 1366s | those videos and yeah that's that's not |
| 1368s | saying much but you and me both make you |
| 1370s | and me both don't worry uh we we know |
| 1372s | for sure that there's a hell of a lot of |
| 1374s | talent to people in our community |
| 1376s | um and I mean we keep saying it it's |
| 1378s | I've been absolutely watched all of |
| 1380s | these |

| 1820s | the team and uh what is your favorite |
| 1822s | thing about working on the game or |
| 1824s | working at crytek in general |
| 1825s | so I've joined crytek pretty much |
| 1828s | exactly three years ago I had a small |
| 1830s | break to finish my University degree but |
| 1832s | yeah I'm on board since then |

| 1837s | it's hard to say like what's what's the |
| 1839s | the most the best thing to work on |
| 1842s | what I really love on hunch out on this |
| 1844s | like on the one hand you have this raw |
| 1846s | and gritty world but on the other hand |
| 1848s | you also have this this like dark |
| 1850s | Supernatural which influences everything |
| 1853s | so yeah I really I just really love the |
| 1856s | hunt Universe the right answer would |
| 1858s | have been like being here with me |
| 1862s | but yeah so can you tell us about the |
| 1865s | entries and you were part of the judges |
| 1867s | as well so how did you exactly go about |
| 1868s | judging the entries like based on all |
| 1870s | your taste as well yeah sure so uh I |
| 1874s | think there are basically two two main |
| 1876s | parts when it comes to to like audio for |
| 1879s | video and the first things I would say |
| 1881s | maybe the boring one which is like is |
| 1883s | technically everything fine is there any |
| 1885s | noise is the dialogue clean and and so |
| 1889s | on you know uh it's like the quality |
| 1891s | high and then the second more more |
| 1894s | interesting thing about the audio for |
| 1895s | the video would be like the creative |
| 1897s | side of things so did you come up with |
| 1900s | any new sound effects did you maybe use |
| 1903s | the sound effects from our game uh in in |
| 1906s | an interesting and surprising way and |
| 1909s | that you maybe also use audio to like |
| 1911s | not only cover what you see on the |
| 1913s | screen but |
| 1915s | um did you like expand the actual clip |
| 1917s | with it so yeah those would be the |
| 1919s | criteria or I try to judge it yeah again |
| 1922s | we just want to let you all know that |
| 1924s | all the nominations were done by an |
| 1926s | internal selection process which took us |
| 1928s | a long time sadly we had to delay it a |
| 1930s | few times because there was again just |
| 1932s | too many entries to go through but it's |
| 1934s | very fun to uh hear how you actually |
| 1936s | just based on audio and as a last |
| 1938s | question to you so you know as I said |
| 1940s | audio is a huge thing in Hunt and |
| 1942s | players always ask like do you have any |
| 1945s | tips on what to play hunt on how to set |
| 1947s | up your headset what headset to use |
| 1949s | anything like that to get the best out |
| 1951s | of the experience yeah sure that's a |
| 1953s | that's a tough one so like the first |
| 1955s | thing is uh we mentioned when you start |
| 1957s | off the game use headphones to get the |
| 1959s | best experience so you can like really |
| 1961s | pinpoint where everyone is in the game |
| 1964s | and when it comes to which headphones I |
| 1966s | mean there is there are so many good |
| 1968s | good products out there but my like |
| 1971s | personal tip would be to go with |
| 1973s | actually uh sounds studio equipment |
| 1975s | because there you really get a good |
| 1978s | quality or you get a really good uh how |
| 1981s | you say like bang for your buck so yeah |

| 2465s | favorite aspect of this is just the fact |
| 2466s | that so many people contributed to this |

| 2925s | finished the university in the UK |

| 2929s | obviously the gaming industry as a huge |
| 2931s | gamer myself was super interesting to me |

| 2940s | team before I worked on a band The Rock |
| 2943s | Band which I handled all those social |
| 2945s | Pages for so it was some and also had my |
| 2947s | own Fit channel which helped so uh that |

| 2952s | I got like a interview super quickly and |

| 2956s | room and asking me which word of |
| 2957s | Warcraft faction I am and I support and |

| 3029s | ceremony which we've never done before |
| 3031s | so that was a lot of fun and I'm glad we |

| 3183s | moderator so how did you actually get to |
| 3185s | cry attack what was the process in the |
| 3187s | from video from moderator to actual uh |
| 3190s | digital artist for the thing well for |
| 3192s | one you told me that I should send in my |
| 3195s | resume so I did not expecting anything |
| 3197s | because I don't really have a a |
| 3200s | background in any cinematics video |
| 3202s | making or anything and like half a year |
| 3205s | later I got contacted and they hired me |
| 3207s | as mostly for gameplay capture I learned |
| 3210s | the engine in the meantime so now I'll |
| 3212s | do cinematics editing gameplay capture |
| 3214s | and sometimes some motion capture |
| 3217s | well I think it's really cool in one |
| 3219s | point I'd like to focus on there is that |
| 3221s | you mentioned that you had absolutely no |
| 3222s | experience before a bar what you had |
| 3225s | been doing in your own time and I think |
| 3226s | that that's it's a very important |
| 3227s | message to get across to anyone that's |
| 3229s | actually interested in working in the |
| 3230s | gaming industry you can do it if you put |
| 3233s | your mind to it you don't necessarily |
| 3234s | have to go to college and study for |
| 3236s | years and it helps but you don't have to |
| 3239s | um you know but anybody can get into the |
| 3241s | industry and I think Jeremy's a really |
| 3243s | good example and a really good |
| 3244s | inspiration for people to be able to |
| 3246s | come from a completely different |
| 3247s | background apply to a video contest and |
| 3250s | then all of a sudden a couple of months |
| 3252s | later end up working as a digital artist |
| 3254s | so I think it's been you've had a really |
| 3255s | really great journey and I'm lucky |
| 3257s | enough that I've been able to be friends |
| 3258s | with you during that entire Journey you |
| 3260s | know mine has been awesome to get to |

| 3305s | so we got to go you know be really |
| 3307s | creative with what we do is we select |
| 3309s | the scenarios and all of that I must say |
| 3312s | that since you started capturing |
| 3314s | gameplay we could tell that finally like |
| 3317s | in the trailers people could actually |
| 3318s | play the game and it was not just so |
| 3320s | fake but like you actually hit shots and |
| 3321s | move properly yeah wow the mouse moving |
| 3324s | is tricky but you know I'm gonna get |
| 3325s | there and uh yeah let's talk about this |
| 3328s | contest uh what did you like how you did |
| 3331s | you feel about this contest and do you |
| 3332s | have any tips for people that are |
| 3333s | looking to capture future content for |
| 3335s | hunt there were so many good entries and |
| 3338s | you could see how much effort has gone |
| 3340s | into it uh me I haven't done it myself |
| 3342s | like trying to find an empty server is |
| 3345s | now we have the test servers off so I'm |
| 3347s | sure that helped a lot of people |
| 3348s | but you know it's really hard to try and |
| 3351s | match that time and day because you only |
| 3353s | have like a limited amount of time and a |
| 3355s | nice to get all your recordings done and |
| 3357s | it's really tricky to try and get that |
| 3358s | while you're in game with just uh you |
| 3360s | know now we have to see what we could |
| 3362s | hide the HUD and the and the hands but |
| 3364s | still you have to like get all the |
| 3365s | Angles and if you have friends helping |
| 3367s | you yeah you have to sort of direct them |
| 3370s | so it was really tricky it was a lot of |
| 3372s | really good entries |
| 3373s | um yeah tip wise you know |
| 3377s | um trying to keep the action going |
| 3378s | there's a lot of videos I had a lot of |
| 3380s | running with beautiful cinematic scenery |
| 3383s | and stuff but in a three minute video |
| 3386s | having one minute of running you know it |
| 3388s | doesn't really go anywhere it's better |
| 3390s | to just have a little bit of running and |
| 3392s | then have them arrive at where they're |
| 3393s | going because then you know we already |
| 3395s | know that that's where they went we keep |
| 3397s | it short and sweet it keeps the flow |
| 3399s | going other than that everybody did an |
| 3402s | amazing job it was really interesting to |
| 3404s | see |
| 3405s | um all the the amazing thoughts that or |
| 3408s | videos that people thought up and made |
| 3411s | a lot of fun yeah yeah and I can imagine |
| 3413s | as well from the creative Services side |
| 3414s | of things you guys were very very eager |
| 3416s | to see what was going to be produced you |
| 3418s | know I mean without a digital artist out |
| 3420s | of it the last time who knows what |
| 3422s | happens this time you know |
| 3423s | um but yeah so no it's really cool so do |
