23s | designer for hunt Showdown and as I |
26s | mentioned earlier this is the last |
27s | chapter of the Moon series of events so |
29s | could you recap what happened in the |
31s | story so far and maybe a bit of teaser |
34s | what we can expect from this event this |
36s | is our conclusion to the series of moon |
38s | events like you said first we had |
40s | Traders Moon where Sherry started to do |
43s | some things where he was up to no good |
45s | and Kevin who was kind of an innocent |
47s | bystander ended up getting caught in the |
49s | middle we have Serpent's Moon which |
52s | established the fact that Kevin kind of |
54s | took the call to action and was able to |
56s | go and start fighting Mr Sherry and get |
58s | some allies along the way and now we |
60s | have Devil's Moon which is kind of our |
62s | equivalent to a big bad conclusion or an |
66s | Avengers Civil War where a lot of people |
68s | are coming to a head and really the fate |
70s | of the Bayou in Louisiana is at stake |

75s | super exciting and I also love the |
77s | previous stories and I can highly |
78s | recommend all players to check out the |

125s | we made a lot of changes to this event |
127s | including a new battle pass system a new |
130s | way to get event points called the |
132s | challenges and of course a lot of |
134s | gameplay changes including a new Wild |
136s | Card condition that we'll get to later |
138s | on as you mentioned we did listen to a |
140s | lot of community feedback especially |
142s | around serpent Moon I'm really excited |
144s | to find out antenna players how their |
146s | feedback really influenced this event |
148s | could you tell us what's really changed |
150s | this time what's new this time around |

153s | events you'll be able to get event point |
155s | from the same typical way so exploring |
157s | the map Gathering Clues collecting Souls |
160s | from Soul traps banishing bosses and of |
162s | course looting Hunter corpses are all |
164s | included just like previous events that |
166s | you know and loved we have some new |
167s | interesting mechanics that will really |
169s | make sure that people get their points |
171s | this time around I can't wait to find |
173s | out more about the salt traps you |
174s | mentioned but before that could you tell |
176s | us about the new ways on how people can |
178s | actually earn inventor points this time |
179s | around for people who don't quite have |
181s | the time and really need to get through |
183s | those event points we've reworked |
185s | summons into challenges where a lot of |
188s | people are going to find that they'll be |
189s | able to take different tasks or |
192s | requirements and get into the bio to get |
194s | as many event points as possible we will |
196s | dive more into detail about the |
198s | challenges with Anton in our Deep dive |

203s | let's get back to those Soul traps you |
205s | mentioned earlier what are those About |
206s | Soul traps are inanimate objects that |
209s | have been placed throughout the maps by |
210s | Mr Sherry in which he is tasking |
213s | everyone to collect the souls from which |
215s | he has been trapping and ripening inside |
217s | them but that's not all you can also |
218s | destroy the soul traps in order to get |
220s | pledge marks which you can exchange for |
222s | new traits which will really change up |
225s | the gameplay and give players new powers |
227s | and things to really change up the meta |
229s | for honey so you did mention pledge |
231s | marks are these similar to the snakes |
233s | from serpent Moon and how can people |
236s | really collect these in-game so they're |
238s | not exactly like the snakes in serpent |
240s | Moon players can earn up to three pledge |
242s | marks per Mission either by getting 35 |
244s | event points banishing a boss or looting |
248s | their first Hunter Corps permission so |
250s | now we know how players can collect the |
252s | pledge marks but what can they actually |
254s | do to be done like well how do they use |
256s | them and how do they apply the traits |
257s | you mentioned earlier you can use the |
259s | pledge marks to pledge to three |
261s | different packs during the event we have |
263s | the infernal packed we have the lunar |
265s | packed and we have the grounded pack |
266s | each with their own set of new powers in |
269s | the form of traits that players can kind |
271s | of mess around with and it'll completely |
273s | change the gameplay this time around how |
275s | can players actually use it in game and |
276s | how do these affect the gameplay for |
278s | each hunter that you take into the |
281s | mission you can pledge allegiance to one |
283s | of the three packs with the pledge marks |
285s | so that is the lunar pact be grounded |
287s | pact and the infernal pact each pact has |
290s | new powers in the form of traits that |
292s | you can use to really shake up gameplay |
293s | this time around but I won't get into it |
295s | too much because that's for dinner |
296s | Studio yeah I can't wait to learn more |
299s | about the traits on the gameplay changes |
301s | with our deep dive video with Dennis so |

314s | never heard before so what is that all |
315s | about we're also introducing The Inferno |
318s | which is a new Wild Card condition The |
320s | Inferno will change certain parts of all |
323s | three maps and change how gameplay and |
325s | movement works so watch out for it and |
327s | be prepared so Bree that sounds |
329s | literally fire and I cannot wait to see |
332s | the whole map in flames on how players |
335s | play around that but there's still one |
337s | thing we haven't touched on and haven't |
339s | talked about which is obviously the |
340s | rewards this time around so could you |
342s | tell us a bit about them we got a lot of |
344s | player feedback for the battle pass as |
346s | well and so we decided to revamp it it |
348s | includes two legendary Hunters a lot of |
351s | legendary weapons and weapon charms a |
354s | new weapon several new weapons variants |
356s | and several new custom ammo types plus a |
360s | bit of event story unlocks if that's |
361s | what you're into and as we mentioned |
363s | earlier we will have a deep dive into |
365s | the progression system with Anton later |
367s | on and a gameplay and and weapon video |
