[2020] Happy but not happy

I am happy to see that we got a patch to help with optimization and that it helped A LOT of people, it however made it much worse for me. I used to have a sh*tty 20-28 FPS but now I got a properly WHACK 3-10 FPS with everything on low. Is there any way to fix this? Or is it one of those odd situations where I'll get more FPS if I turn up the settings because I am at a loss here. I've wanted to be able to play this game since release and I am still in love with it. But due to bad FPS and now worse FPS my K/D is sadder than I am.
