565s two so we will have multiple people from
567s our team for different uh segments of
569s the stream but first we want to look at
572s a bit of the community side with rick so

577s today and yeah let's dive into it

811s uh but let's dive into uh update 1.9 and
815s uh
816s yeah let's update everyone on the bugs
819s and uh what happened recently in that
821s regard
822s yeah so um we know that there have been
825s uh quite a lot of precision bugs over
827s the last while um we've been listening
829s to your guys feedback and we
832s really kind of took it upon ourselves
833s with update 1.9 to make sure that we did
836s as much as we could um and went above
838s and beyond in terms of the amount of bug
840s fixes we understand that we needed a
842s little bit of a take a step back and
844s have a bit of a health check on the game
845s kind of make sure that we were in a
847s really really good place um so one of
849s the first avenues that we took was this
851s was the bug fixes and in this update and
854s through the patch notes you will see
855s that we have an extensive list of bug
858s fixes it's actually probably one of our
860s longest links list of buffixes in quite
862s a while so we're hoping that this should
865s be a good step in the right direction
868s towards improving
869s a lot of different aspects of the game
871s so that's the first thing anyway um
874s next though we want to kind of talk on
875s one that has existed in the last couple
878s of weeks um the map book as i'm sure
880s everybody is familiar with now
882s so
883s we we've communicated on this we we gave
886s as many as much detail as we could
888s throughout that the course of the last
889s week on this topic um and we tried to
891s explain that
893s you know we looked through a lot of
894s different avenues when it came to trying
896s to resolve this um bug as quickly as
898s possible unfortunately it wasn't an easy
900s one um we had a number of different
902s options we looked at the possibility of
904s like partially removing it or fully
907s removing it um we looked at uh trying to
910s you know trying to see if we could
912s actually fix the bug itself that was
914s created with the last update
916s um but uh ultimately it turned out that
919s our best course of action was to roll
921s back the bug fix that actually caught
924s the reason for this is that if we had
925s gone down the route of a partial um
927s removal which um it would have it would
930s have involved a small bit of downtime
932s but it actually wouldn't have fully
934s removed it from the game it would have
935s been possible to access the weapon
937s through things like quick play through
940s the recruiter hunters through
942s legendaries and through the spawns in
944s game so we felt that while it could
946s potentially stop at least one aspect of
948s it
949s it wasn't going to solve the bigger
951s problem it wasn't going to cause uh much
954s of a difference because of the other
956s avenues that were available
958s the full removal involved did a lot of
962s removal of the gun from everywhere in
964s the kit so it would have been a very
966s meticulous time consuming to get it from
968s like every aspect and we also weren't
971s really 100 certain on the
973s impacts that that could have on a number
975s of different systems it's not something
977s that we've had to do before so we were a
979s bit unsure if that would be the test
981s force of action
983s so ultimately after going through all of
985s this for a couple of days we did decide
986s to revert the bug fix um that caused it
989s and it was related to the fix for single
991s shot uh rifles that you couldn't reload
994s them after you tried to switch ammo
997s while vaulting or quickly switching the
999s weapons
1000s um but
1002s some news the main news on all of this
1004s is that with update 1.9
1006s the bugs that ended up coming from this
1008s and causing this problem they're all
1010s going to be resolved so um our qa guys
1013s were talking to us today about it and
1015s advised that the one the single shot
1017s reload issue is going to be resolved
1020s um and it's not going to cause the lamp
1022s bug to come back again um and there are
1024s some other aspects some of the little
1026s bugs that we're tied into as well that
1027s should still be fixed with update 1.9
1030s so that's a little update well when i
1032s say little but that's a little update we
1033s wanted to give on that um we do
1035s appreciate your patience with us during
1036s that we know it was incredibly
1037s frustrating um and you know any
1041s situation like this we're always going
1042s to learn from it to see exactly how we
1043s can do better the next time
1045s exactly and uh just because you
1047s mentioned that we have another bug fix
1049s or a lot of other bug fixes in this
1050s update we wanted to highlight one very
1053s very important one which will
1055s be a
1056s small change to movement and rick will
1058s explain us how will that exactly work
1060s and trust me this will have a huge
1062s impact
1063s so we we call this player movement
1065s changes but essentially what this
1067s relates to are the decent issues that
1069s many of you have reported and talked
1071s about over
1074s the last while
1075s so essentially we've made two
1078s improvements that we're hoping are going
1080s to make a big difference to desync one
1083s is a local improvement and the other is
1085s a remote improvement now to extend these
1087s a local improvement refers to the
1089s improvements relating to your hunter on
1090s the client so what we've done is we've
1092s improved the error correction in the
1094s game which should allow for faster and
1096s fairer feedback in those instances where
1098s desync is going to really occur the
1101s overall aim is going to be to reduce the
1103s instances of abrupt and unexpected
1105s teleports
1106s but it's important to note that bad
1108s connectivity latency other network
1110s interrupts they may still cause things
1113s like this so it's important to keep in
1114s mind it is not going to remove every
1117s aspect of it if there is a network issue
1119s somewhere it could
1120s still happen but the overall aim with
1123s this is that from your perspective it
1124s will feel much faster much fairer with
1126s your actions and it will take into
1128s account what you're doing a bit more uh
1130s a bit more frequently
1132s with the remote uh improvements then
1133s these refer to every other hunter in the
1136s match um so these the improvements then
1139s will be aimed at kind of ensuring the
1140s server's entity position is more
1142s accurate so the server registers exactly
1144s where the other hunters are in a more
1146s accurate fashion
1147s so with this it should adjust for
1149s discrepancies and just overall improve
1152s the interactions that you have with
1154s enemy hunters and it specifically this
1156s will be effective in instances where
1157s hunters can't be revived or looted and
1160s these instances were happening because
1162s of the the body registering in a
1164s different position on the client when
1165s compared to the server so we should see
1167s that a lot of difference uh in that
1169s things will be a bit more in line and
1171s you should encounter these issues a hell
1172s of a lot less
1174s so we know this has been a big topic
1175s within the community and especially over
1176s the last couple of months we have been
1178s listening to you on it so we did
1179s actually we did try to do something for
1181s this
1182s your feedback is going to be vital on
1184s this though um so please make sure that
1187s you uh get on the one it's once is on
1189s test server get on test server and try
1190s it out and make sure that we get in uh
1193s decent feedback to make sure that you
1195s know this works the way it's supposed to
1197s so um you know our tests have shown that
1199s there's improvements but
1201s really what it comes down to is you guys
1202s stressing the hell out of it to make
1203s sure
1205s that we've done the best we can and if
1207s need be do more if possible yeah just to
1210s stop
1211s you there for a minute some people like
1213s you have some crackling in the mic maybe
1215s if you can just reset if you have nvidia
1216s voice or something uh yeah we can hear
1219s you but it's like sometimes cuts out for
1221s a second
1222s uh and uh meanwhile uh
1225s as i see people talking youtube chat we
1227s do actually see you guys and we will
1229s definitely have a dedicated q a section
1231s at the very end of the stream as always
1233s where we will uh answer your questions
1236s from facebook youtube or twitch as well
1239s so uh please try to keep the bigger
1241s questions until then but if you have a
1243s question about the topic we are talking
1245s about we can always uh try to catch your
1248s question and answer that right there
1252s yeah and uh
1255s yeah uh
1256s if we can test if it's working yeah
1259s yeah it says my mic is working any
1260s better now i've reduced it a bit so
1263s so far it sounds good uh i'll let you

1267s maybe just don't talk too loud or
1269s something it was like maybe like peeking
1271s or something and uh with that said let's
1273s uh
1274s go into the new features uh we have it
1277s we'll still talk about it with rick and
1279s uh there's multiple of this as well so
1281s let's look at the new summons we are
1283s adding with uh 1.9
1287s yeah so um we've obviously the quest
1289s system came in with uh 1.8 and you know
1292s we've decided that we we mentioned that
1294s this was just a starting point and with
1295s every update where we're going to be
1296s adding more and new summons to it
1298s including um summons from that have been
1300s suggested by the community so we've been
1302s gathering all of those you guys have
1304s been great at giving us suggestions um
1306s we've been using the hashtag
1307s suggestedquest on our social media
1309s channels
1310s we've been collecting a lot of data a
1312s lot of feedback and suggestions uh on
1314s every aspect of it
1316s so we've
1317s you know we've taken on everything on
1318s board and we've just put in a bunch more
1321s quests and we'll be doing more as we
1323s continue
1324s um
1325s and then we've also added into the
1326s legendary summons there will be the
1328s option of that bloodbound hunters
1330s so it won't be all tied down to dlc
1332s members um and this was something that
1335s had been suggested as well by the
1337s community that you know it needs to be
1338s have a bit more variety into it so we've
1340s at least done this as you know club
1343s hunters with the fact that you can earn
1344s as you play it may be easier and you may
1346s actually have a few of them lying around
1348s already also just to mention it's also
1349s bloodborne weapons so there may be a
1351s quest where you have to kill people with
1353s a certain weapon and uh similar but for
1355s bloodborne the niger's dlcs
1359s yep and then just to quickly touch on
1362s how we're further developing the quest
1363s system um we have this new thing that's
1366s going to be coming out in the near
1367s future called questlines
1369s um now we don't have too much to share
1370s it right now we'll probably do a lot
1372s more uh leading up to when it actually
1374s comes out but this is basically just to
1377s um basically give a lot more uh of
1379s things to do a lot more rewarding
1381s options ways of for us to add more
1383s content um and to just yeah like like
1386s with the original summon system to
1388s further expand on it um and just make it
1391s something that's a hell of a lot more
1393s engaging uh for your everyday play
1395s sessions than previously has been
1397s so keep an eye out we'll we'll have a
1399s lot more information to come on that
1400s coming soon but we just wanted to touch
1402s on it that you know the quest system is
1403s not just it there is far more to it it's
1406s going to be quite a fun addition so i'm
1407s also looking forward to that but we'll
1409s talk about that later
1411s and
1412s uh
1413s let's just take a look
1415s at a small change that we made to the
1418s in-game map screen or however you want
1420s to call it where you can see your
1421s summons so as you can see on the left
1424s side where the cast requests ask you to
1426s kill people with a certain weapon
1429s those will be hidden so you won't be
1431s able to track that in game just because
1433s it gave people instant feedback on their
1436s kills so you could instantly tell if you
1437s managed to kill a player or not so you
1439s will not be able to track these quests
1441s in the game but you will be able to see
1443s them after the game
1445s obviously like tracking people is a huge
1447s part of hunt and
1449s we don't want to give it away with a
1450s feature like that so that's another
1452s change to the quest system
1456s and uh let's update the community on
1458s some other topics uh we have in store so
1461s we'll have a clear
1462s strategy and update
1466s um
1467s okay a new t-shirt coming
1471s yeah um so yeah so before like there's
1474s one other thing we're going to talk
1475s about um but before we do i just want to
1477s have a quick fly over uh at the topic of
1479s the well the topics of uh future content
1482s and monetization because we know this
1483s has been something that uh many of you
1485s have been discussing for a while
1487s so uh in terms of the monetization blog
1490s first off um the blog actually is going
1492s to be coming out very very soon although
1494s it's no longer a blog uh we decided to
1497s opt for a video format due to the fact
1499s that there was so much information to
1501s unpack in it and we just didn't really
1503s feel that a text version was going to do
1505s it format do it justice so um the video
1508s is currently it was recorded at the end
1509s of last week and is currently going
1510s through the editing process so we should
1512s be able to post it later this week
1514s now um in terms of
1516s you know
1518s monetization with content and how things
1520s have been for the last couple of updates
1521s so well one thing we want to highlight
1524s is that we've been trying to put a bit
1525s more focus on some of the important
1527s aspects that we feel need a lot of
1528s attention so the first is the server
1530s side which is performance service
1532s stability bug fixes you know everything
1534s like that
1535s um
1536s we've noticed that since around 1.7 a
1538s lot of these things have kind of
1540s uh performance in particular has dropped
1542s for many of you so we've been trying to
1543s put a lot more focus into that and
1545s that's something that is going to come
1546s with update 1.9 which we'll actually
1548s discuss um a little bit later with uh
1551s stefan i believe
1552s yeah all right
1554s the other aspect then has been around
1555s retention so giving players a little bit
1557s more to do during their planes and play
1559s sessions more opportunities to earn
1560s rewards
1561s just you know everything like that that
1563s keeps people wanting to come back for
1565s more more often and we felt that these
1568s have been kind of the vital areas to
1569s focus on because you know we want to
1571s ensure hunt continues and grows and
1573s contin grows and continues to grow for a
1575s very long time to come
1577s um and we don't want to be just solely
1580s relying on our events to pull in big
1582s numbers for a small period of time and
1584s then it go back to normal we'd like for
1586s those things to
1587s improve substantially and we know that
1589s we must bring content to do that
1591s as well
1592s but
1593s on top of that one of the things we've
1594s been trying to focus on is the actual
1596s long-term sustainability of hunt and
1598s that's where the monetization stuff
1599s comes in
1600s and we know that monetization is a bit
1602s of a touchy subject not many people like
1604s uh to talk about it you know and we have
1606s gotten a lot of feedback that people
1608s don't really like what we're doing but
1610s there is a reason for it um we'll we'll
1612s get into that a little bit more uh with
1614s the actual monetization video itself
1616s that will be coming out later this week
1618s but we wanted to let you know that we
1619s have actually been working on content as
1620s well but in the example of like bosses
1622s and new maps stuff like this can
1624s actually take anywhere from six to 12
1626s months to actually complete and that
1628s really depends on the level of
1629s complexity with it so we want to make
1631s sure the content we produce is top
1633s quality so that it keeps players engaged
1635s keeps them coming back for more and
1637s we'll take our time with this and get it
1639s right rather than rushing it out so
1641s that's why we've been because we've been
1643s working with a lot of the stuff along
1644s the side we've put more focus on to the
1646s performance service and everything that
1648s aspect of it so that we can sustain hunt
1651s for a long time to come
1653s so
1654s like i said monetization video will go
1656s into a lot more detail but like we've
1657s mentioned before on stream that the
1658s bloodborne economy is not really in a
1660s stable place at the moment and this
1662s unsustainable sustainability is going to
1664s have larger implications on future
1665s development of hunt so
1668s this is why we're introducing systems
1670s around monetization but with the focus
1672s of player choice meaning that none of
1675s these things are forced you do not have
1677s by any of them they're just in you know
1680s there if you had something that you
1681s would actually like to do and support us
1683s further you know and that's where the
1685s next feature comes to play as well which
1688s is the black market
1691s exactly so now you guys can see the
1693s slide because until now they could only
1694s see you
1695s so
1697s so the black market uh let's talk about
1699s that uh let's see what that will bring
1701s to the table yeah we'll briefly go
1703s through it and then move on to the
1705s performance and you know all the other
1706s gameplay stuff as well because we have a
1708s lot of a lot of good stuff coming up for
1709s you in the stream so
1711s uh as we mentioned the
1712s the black market is a new way to
1714s purchase discounted legendary blood bond
1716s content
1720s and also to mention with this any of the
1722s highlighted store items that go out with
1724s what pay 1.9 will also be available
1726s through the black market so they will
1728s also have a discounted rate uh applied
1730s to them i believe the rate is 20 we'll
1732s go into that uh in a little bit correct
1735s and uh i already seen like a bunch of
1736s people asking today and previously as
1738s well it's uh not replacing the or the
1741s old store at all it's a completely new
1742s tab in the game so it will be a
1744s completely new feature and not the
1747s rework of the old store
1750s so
1751s when it comes in with 1.9 there'll be
1753s three vendors available and they'll each
1756s have their own theme they'll have
1757s specific web types and weapon sets and
1759s everything like that so just try to you
1762s know mix it up with the lore a little
1763s bit
1764s each gender will have a limited stock so
1766s keep that in mind it's not something you
1767s can buy over and over again
1770s um all items will be visible so there's
1773s no nothing hidden you will get to see
1774s exactly what's available through the
1776s whole lot of it as you progress through
1778s but the items will be unlocked in a
1780s random order so when it's introduced
1782s they will be there you will see them
1784s you will be given the first option once
1786s you purchase that screen will flash over
1789s and it will open up to a new random one
1790s within the 10 visible that are available
1793s to you and just so you guys see how it
1795s looks actually let's take a look at a
1797s few examples uh because vendors doesn't
1800s mean anything until you can see it so as
1802s you can see on the left side of this
1803s image we have three different uh vendors
1806s in this case uh with different deals and
1809s on the right side you can see
1811s the items this one vendor is
1814s uh selling to you on a low with a lower
1816s price basically uh and
1819s as rick mentioned you can see all items
1822s uh in the bundle on the right side but
1824s they will come in a random order for you
1828s and uh yeah we correctly said everything
1831s will be with a 20 discount
1833s obviously this these bundles can have uh
1836s skins or
1837s blood bond legendaries that you already
1838s own in that case you will still get a 20
1841s discount but in its 100 dollar price so
1843s you will be able to buy one instance of
1845s that weapon or hunter for 20
1849s off yeah
1851s so and then as well if you're if as you
1853s see there's another button called
1855s another offer um and that means like if
1857s you're not happy with the offer that's
1858s there you have three opportunities to be
1860s able to reroll for it and it will
1861s basically switch to a new item within
1863s the 10 that are available
1865s yeah and just so you can see it a bit
1867s better we also have a video basically
1868s showcasing uh
1870s with the example of the
1872s back la deals which is uh
1874s one of these bundles so you can see that
1877s the player purchased the ultimate and
1879s then it shows them another scheme but
1882s they don't want that so they skip to the
1884s next one
1887s and yeah
1890s and it actually reveals some of the
1892s upcoming skins as well but we will uh
1894s show you that later in the stream
1896s obviously
1898s uh but this is actually a cool way to
1901s get the new uh new skins coming out with
1903s already like a discounted price and not
1905s full price so
1908s that is basically the feature uh and uh
1911s one other thing that you could see on
1912s the last image we showed
1914s if you purchase everything in the bundle
1916s then you won't be able to rebuy any of
1919s that obviously because you already have
1920s the legendaries and you can't keep
1922s repurchasing them from hunt dollars
1924s this is only
1926s until you basically get all 10 items in
1928s the given part
1931s and then with regular updates the items
1933s that they contain will be updated
1938s so yeah i think that's a that's pretty
1939s much it for
1942s for this uh aspect of it anyway um and
1945s we have a lot of other stuff

2049s it's uh connecting this um construction

2055s with the main boss pit underneath and uh
2058s one big entrance the one that's been all
2060s boarded up right towards um
2063s towards like the inner yacht the
2064s downstairs yacht
2066s um there's a
2067s i mean we could
2069s hop straight to the pictures there's
2071s some staircase in there to get into the

2088s mine uh as tom mentioned and
2091s suddenly it's all open
2093s it's really cool
2095s and uh
2097s yeah so how can people access the uh the
2099s main building from here exactly
2102s so you can see a bit here on the left
2104s top corner there's this staircase going
2105s up so this one leads into the boss pits
2107s i don't know
2109s if you have it in your head right now
2110s it's just it has this bottom part
2112s where it's also been kind of blocked off
2114s i also know that some people
2116s have already found ways to get in there
2119s even on life already and see like uh
2122s work in progress broken stuff but now
2124s it's all nice and pretty and dressed up
2127s you can see here again the staircase
2128s right behind the cameras basically where
2130s new elevators this elevator takes you
2132s all the way up top i think
2134s does it take you to the no it takes to
2136s the first floor
2138s to where the crank gate is but yeah
2139s there's there's a bunch of ways now to
2140s get in there basically get in and out
2143s and this is my favorite one it looks so
2144s cool we tried
2146s yeah we tried to keep it simple like we
2148s didn't want to make a huge obviously we
2150s didn't want to make a huge mazie mind
2152s complex you know with dark corners where
2155s you know people would sit
2157s but it's more of it i mean obviously
2160s it's a mine it needed the mine shaft it
2162s needed the underground area needed the
2164s cave we we couldn't make it for the
2165s initial release
2167s um because of performance reasons back
2169s in the day but it's always been
2170s bothering us on our list to to add it
2173s and yeah here it is i guess
2175s yeah it's awesome and uh obviously uh
2177s whenever the update is on test servers
2179s you guys can all try it out and please
2181s leave us our feed leave us feedback
2183s regarding this as well as it's a whole
2185s new area to access
2186s but
2188s this is obviously not the only change
2190s actually it is a small part of the level
2193s design changes we have in store for you
2195s and uh our awesome level design team
2198s actually made changes on all three maps
2200s but let's start off with a steel water
2202s by you
2204s and uh
2205s these are just the compounds that were
2207s changed but we're gonna look at them one
2209s by one yeah
2211s so yeah i'm just gonna give you a small
2213s like from the pictures to get a little
2214s overview i'm just going to tell you the
2216s most significant change about it i guess
2219s and if you'd want to just go through the
2221s pictures
2222s yeah alice farm as we all know and love
2224s or hate i don't know how you guys feel
2226s about it now there's this window on the
2228s barn because it's always been people
2230s like trying to peek the gaps and cracks
2232s there and it's always been this weird
2235s fight or there's this little hole on the
2237s left where where people would usually
2239s fight through from this little shack
2241s that is like left of the camera right
2242s now this little barn
2244s and we wanted a cleaner way to fight
2247s then basically added this window you can
2249s also see this little roof right there is
2252s new uh underneath the window
2254s and this connects basically the two side
2257s roofs of the building now and if you
2259s want to skip to the or if you want to go
2261s to the next picture you can see here
2263s that in the silo there's now a ladder
2266s that takes you up to this
2268s side of the roof so this is now
2270s accessible hasn't been accessible before
2272s i believe
2273s and you can basically go into the corn
2275s silo climb up there on the roof switch
2277s to the other side of the building if you
2279s wanted to it just gives you more options
2281s and
2282s yeah just more options to play around
2284s this building it's awesome and yeah just
2286s to note that i always show the before a
2288s first and then the after so it makes
2290s sense and i'll go back and forth so a
2292s chat can exactly see the changes but
2294s yeah that's definitely so
2296s i can also see that we basically made it
2298s so that this uh roof is not as um it's
2301s not looking like a swiss cheese as much
2303s anymore as it did before so you know
2304s where people are
2306s you know where people look out of
2307s because where there's still a hole in
2309s the roof with these um planks
2311s you can still have people be there and
2313s look out into the forest and into the
2316s yacht but it's now much more focused and
2318s you know
2320s you know where people can be basically
2323s there's some awesome changes for alice
2324s farm and that let's look at livestock
2326s what change there
2329s right one compound over this little hole
2332s um it's been
2336s it's
2336s well we made it basically we added a
2338s ramp to it right it's always been this
2340s there's there's these situations where
2342s you have to drop in there and you
2345s you're kind of
2347s trapped because the only way to get out
2349s is to either vault or to use a ladder i
2352s don't think anybody ever used that
2353s little letter there uh to be honest
2357s uh yeah you can see it on the before
2358s image also the little vault on the fence
2361s above the hole
2363s is now like a full height fence so you
2366s don't get shot while you're in this
2368s inner yacht randomly anymore you can
2370s still climb over it there's some hay
2371s balance behind it you'll see on the next
2373s picture there's some hay bands behind it
2374s where you can still
2376s bolt out and get into the hole when if
2378s you want to escape or if you want to go
2379s on the ground
2381s um the underground has changed a bit as
2383s well i believe just real quick because
2385s the crank gate that was right at the
2387s boss pit didn't really sit right with us
2389s and we were thinking um to
2391s give a better way there to get into the
2393s compound get more use out of this
2395s underground connection basically because
2397s it felt very
2398s underused so we're hoping by changing
2402s doing some slight changes here and there
2403s to give it a bit more
2405s viability
2407s yeah i just wanted to say that it was
2408s always like a little trap where you uh
2410s like uh vaulted over the fence and just
2412s fell into the hole and sometimes there
2413s was some ai in there and then
2415s it was not always the best part to be in
2417s especially when you're running from
2418s teams in the open fields there so
2421s yeah you get like chased out of the
2423s compound and and you drop in there and
2425s now well you gotta i mean your only
2427s choice is to hide in the tunnels but
2429s then like yeah i don't know yeah it was
2431s kind of a death threat situation yeah
2433s yeah
2434s smoother just smoother movement in this
2436s area
2437s and then from another angle
2441s yeah you can see here as well like the
2443s we've also
2444s changed a bit the covers around it so
2446s like this tree trunk you know it's a bit
2448s more acting as proper cover now it's
2451s just very slight subtle changes here
2453s this little crouch hole in the fence
2455s like right in the center of the image
2456s there
2457s just giving you a bit more
2459s just
2460s details tiny details that we did here
2462s that uh might help in it's very
2465s situational changes
2467s and uh then let's move into the
2469s crematorium side of
2471s the map again
2474s and uh this is some awesome changes here
2476s actually
2477s yeah again pitching the this time we're
2481s looking a bit uh not only but we're also
2483s looking a bit at the upper area of
2485s pitching and trying to give it a bit
2487s more structure because it did feel very
2489s like
2491s unsafe to a certain degree like you
2494s didn't really want to be up there you
2496s you could get shot from from a lot of
2497s different places so we're just trying to
2499s add more structure make it a bit clearer
2501s you know you have this this corridor
2503s behind this wall they're more
2505s more clearly separated now and things
2507s like that there's also just some
2509s structural
2510s changes the bigger one is this one and
2513s this screenshot it doesn't really
2515s tell you a lot i guess
2516s there's a door
2518s there's a door
2520s crazy crazy
2523s but that's a nice door right
2526s yeah nice store that's very nice now
2528s actually on the next screenshot you'll
2529s see where it leads um
2531s so this is when you come from the forest
2534s from healing towards pitching there's a
2536s new entrance now
2538s where you don't have to go into the
2540s compound first to get to the ramp or get
2542s to the staircase or the elevator or
2543s whatever goes out through the water but
2545s you actually have
2547s an entrance here
2548s that is a is a bit more convenient i
2551s guess if you come from the forest but
2552s also for the defenders or people coming
2554s out of the compound
2556s gives you a little bit of a ramp to
2558s to peak maybe into the forest right and
2561s where people usually sit and wait so you
2563s have a bit of
2565s just another option there to
2567s make your way out yeah i think it's
2569s great like people also love the changes
2571s of the chapel with the new entrances so
2573s i think these are always like changing
2575s up the game a bit it's
2577s more options is always better
2580s yeah
2580s and uh yeah we have some other angles
2584s right yeah so you see kind of where it
2585s is so also since there was this before
2589s there was these like individual walls
2591s there could get a bit messy sometimes
2594s where you're not exactly sure where the
2595s person is but now you have just this big
2597s block that you can play around
2600s uh makes it a bit more readable
2604s but yeah again details just you know
2606s looking at the compound see what we can
2608s improve on
2609s um yeah there's always like smaller
2611s changes to noticeable like the three
2613s location chains and stuff like that
2615s yeah it overall feels more natural and i
2617s think nicer as
2619s well uh but yeah let's go over to
2622s portugal then
2624s uh portraiture easy stairs
2627s stairs more stairs yeah
2630s and some more trees in the background
2631s they both moved a bit but that stair is
2633s also great because it's something the
2635s trees in the back i think that's just
2637s something went wrong with the
2638s screenshots they've been there i don't
2640s know how that happened um but yeah it's
2642s basically it's stairs because yeah if
2644s you go to the next one i think the next
2646s one is also stairs
2649s yeah give you more options to get up
2651s there because it can sometimes be a bit
2653s frustrating when you're down there when
2655s you when you were pushed out of the
2657s compound you had to drop down like
2658s finding your way back in you have to
2660s take if you want to be somewhat safe
2662s about it you got to take
2663s huge ass detours to
2665s to get back up top and fight your way
2667s back in so it's just a few more spots
2670s for you to basically be able to do that
2672s also the one on the screenshot before
2675s if you
2676s it just gives you another option to push
2678s this scupper lake uh boss building like
2680s this one towards skopje lake so you can
2682s if you're on the huts coming from alice
2684s and you're at these huts at the entrance
2685s of puerto rico it gives you the option
2686s now to like
2688s maybe you headshot somebody or you kill
2690s somebody you damage somebody in the boss
2691s pits now i can just drop down and push
2693s over there real quick and get up pretty
2695s fast and really take advantage of that
2697s kill that you maybe made
2699s uh instead of having to go all the way
2700s around and now when you get to the boss
2702s pit they already rest and it's back to
2704s square one so this one
2706s uh
2707s this one is more where you have to make
2709s such long detours to get back up and
2712s use ladders
2713s even you know so it's kind of hard to
2715s get back up that's what this one is for
2718s oh yeah stairs a lot of stairs but we
2720s also add ladders by the way later on
2723s so here's another uh
2725s really visible change actually with the
2727s new bridge
2728s yeah
2729s um this has always been this weird
2732s situation there where
2734s in the before screenshot you have this
2736s boat hanging back there but the boat
2739s actually just takes you to a ladder to
2741s get to the second floor of the bus but
2742s if you do want to get to this boss pit
2744s you actually have to drop down use a
2746s letter do some trick jumps or go all the
2748s way around and now it's just
2750s connected better i think we thought it
2752s made sense to
2755s to give it that connection and make it a
2756s bit easier to push it and sometimes it's
2758s just hard to get to the uh the boss room
2761s anyway so
2762s yeah it's it's nice
2765s you can never really like if you don't
2767s have these connections you also can't
2768s really take advantage of a good shot you
2772s get maybe on the defending team right so
2774s defending teams inside you land a
2775s headshot but it doesn't do anything if
2777s you can't really follow up on it
2779s so now
2780s you know you might be able to
2782s to do that where your teammates are
2784s maybe a bit closer ready to the compound
2786s you're still a bit further back you
2788s managed to get a head shot on one of
2789s them your teammates can push in or you
2791s can push them together however you just
2793s you're faster there
2795s yeah that's also that will help out a
2797s lot it fights
2799s and uh
2800s we still have some changes still water
2802s ban
2805s yeah this these screenshots aren't
2806s really telling uh
2808s i mean uh
2809s in the back if you if you do the test
2811s servers
2812s yeah yeah in the middle of the picture
2813s in the back there's a new uh way down if
2816s i'm not mistaken
2818s yes so where this little roof is in the
2820s center there's basically a new staircase
2823s that goes down and where this little
2825s where the um the cage the falling cage
2828s door is there used to be a letter that
2831s took you down in there so the letter is
2832s gone
2833s the room in there now is a
2836s guaranteed resupply room like where you
2838s can always expect some ammo crates
2841s and the entrance into the boss pits is
2843s now staircase uh that you can access
2845s from here and the reason for that was
2847s that a lot of times when you come from
2850s the northern part of the map and you
2851s come into stillwater
2853s you you're faced with a situation where
2855s one team is down in the boss pit one
2857s team is where the white house is in the
2859s back there or in this barn or mainly
2862s like where the white house is because
2863s the white house controls a lot of these
2864s entrances you have an entrance right by
2866s the house
2867s you have the letter in the barn next to
2869s it you have another ramp and you can see
2872s you cannot see almost all the entrances
2874s from this one spot so it's very
2876s it's a very key position to control this
2878s compound and when you then come in from
2879s the north
2881s even if you do want to just go down and
2883s face the team that is holding the bounty
2885s you have to face the other team first to
2887s get there so now this one allows you to
2889s just
2889s ignore the other team go down get the
2891s bounty which is what i like what i
2893s prefer i just i i go down i get the
2896s bounty from that team and then i fight
2897s the team upstairs so
2899s it's just it's just a bit cleaner this
2901s way it's what we felt like some chat has
2904s been asking you like what do you have
2905s against letters uh why is it just stairs
2908s now
2910s but no like i i think this is really
2912s cool but ladders are a bit dangerous
2914s sometimes you're a bit dangerous and as
2916s such i have no problem with letters i
2917s know um i know some people have been
2919s asking me to make a compound just built
2921s from letters nothing else
2926s made a big request area sounds fun
2929s letter land um
2931s yeah i do prefer stairs though i'm sorry
2934s stairs are you can put traps on stairs
2936s so
2937s they have a use
2939s uh but yeah that's it for uh the first
2942s map so stillwater bayou
2944s and we have some changes to the other
2945s maps as well so let's take a short look
2948s at blossom delta with lumber and salters
2950s pork
2951s so
2952s let's look at lumber first
2954s yeah lumber is a small one salted pork
2956s is a big one but lumber you know this
2958s little drop down you can barely see it
2960s here it's where the letter now is but in
2962s the before it's
2963s you barely even see it but this was
2965s actually a one-way drop to get out of
2967s the boss bit into this little area
2968s underneath
2970s uh i personally used it when i was down
2972s there to throw nades up there because
2974s nobody ever expects them um
2976s what you can still do but people maybe
2978s are more aware of it now and you have
2980s this letter now just
2982s as
2983s um how you say you know since we're
2986s removing letters everywhere and putting
2988s stairs you know you have to balance it a
2990s bit later somewhere else yeah
2992s so there you go talking of letters
2994s here's another one
2996s yeah that's not that's the same much as
2998s from the other angle yeah
3000s so this is this is what it looks like
3002s down there now so you have the slider
3003s with a bit of cover behind it so again
3005s you don't get shot from from
3007s the water side while you climb up
3009s and you can use that now to have a
3012s sneaky way into the boss pit without
3014s having to go outside and get to the
3016s ramps and such because
3017s it's easy to get down into this room but
3019s then it's super hard to get to into the
3021s actual boss pit you have to take long
3023s detours
3024s and this one could be your shortcut
3026s basically unless you take the elevator
3028s but
3029s it could be a death trap as well like
3030s it's a pretty risky approach uh once i
3033s tried to sand down a sticky bomb in the
3036s elevator but i also got stuck in the
3038s elevator so i went down with it
3041s nice yeah
3042s just fun fact okay uh let's look at
3044s salter's pork and which uh we have some
3047s bigger changes actually some really big
3049s changes
3050s yeah
3052s wow
3055s we all know and love the situation three
3057s teams in the corner at soldiers middle
3060s team
3061s i mean we've already reworked this area
3063s once
3064s it used to be super open and then we we
3066s drew in this fence there we gave a bit
3068s more cover options left and right and
3071s made it a bit more bearable for the
3072s middle team but now
3074s we've added this tunnel which takes into
3076s the side building basically and what it
3078s what it allows you to do now is say you
3080s if you don't want to take part in the
3081s spawn fight and you can just take the
3083s spawn fight into the compound you could
3085s just without even
3088s showing yourself on the road for these
3090s other two teams you can just run
3091s straight through the tunnel into the
3093s side building and then you're in a
3094s really um advantageous position i'd say
3097s for this bone fight because you're
3098s already in the compound you've got all
3100s the resupplies there
3102s you know uh you got the cover the
3103s building
3105s so
3105s that's that's what is also for escaping
3108s maybe if you manage to get your way into
3110s this into the side building you can use
3112s the tunnel as
3115s a little way to not having to cross the
3117s road but it's more for the spawn fight
3119s situation it's not really
3121s uh
3122s super useful i guess for escaping but
3124s for this spawn situation it's really
3126s good if you just want to
3128s slide in real quick you know
3130s get into that side building and then not
3132s having to worry about north and south
3134s teams
3135s i feel like also just from a thematic
3137s aspect it's like really cool like uh
3139s with the mines open it's like kind of a
3141s theme of having tunnels now and new
3143s entrances so that's really cool yeah
3147s yeah well that's an awesome change and
3149s uh yeah so let's talk about the dassault
3152s as last obviously we already showed you
3154s kingston mine in the beginning so the
3156s mines are open so we won't show that
3158s once again but let's take a look at fort
3160s bolden
3163s yeah
3164s so we've done some changes here that are
3167s mainly thematically just this old bridge
3171s it didn't really
3173s fit the fort so this one
3176s this one is a lot more in line with the
3179s whole aesthetic of fort bolden right
3182s it's um it still offers plenty of
3184s options cover you can you even have some
3187s letters on the side of this i don't know
3189s if you'll be able to see him on the
3190s screenshots but
3192s for all your letter lovers uh you can
3195s see it on this one actually yeah
3197s oh yeah okay oh yeah you can right there
3199s yeah so
3200s basically
3202s um changing the theme up a bit and just
3204s this entire area has been cleaned up a
3206s bit uh it was kind of unpolished before
3209s and it's now better pathing better
3210s leading
3211s and thematically just more fitting and
3214s it all really ties into this
3217s civil war kind of ford
3219s wooden ford theme also here this bridge
3222s was really it felt really
3225s i felt too open so we're trying not to
3228s overdo it but to add some cover give you
3231s some options when you go over the bridge
3232s you know you have some you get shot you
3234s have some stuff to cover be take cover
3236s behind heel up drop down
3239s uh approach maybe from the forest but
3240s it's just it doesn't it's not this super
3242s open suicide route that you avoid to
3244s begin with anymore
3247s and then we have some on the
3249s surrounding area too
3251s right here when you come from the spawn
3253s there was always this little
3255s water thing there that you could just
3256s completely avoid or jump over and now
3258s it's just it's just visually more
3260s appealing
3262s better leading and basically a cleanup
3265s on the vegetation and
3268s all the surroundings there
3270s yeah it looks very aesthetically
3271s pleasing i gotta admit really cool
3274s and obviously there's some smaller
3276s changes around the same area as well but
3278s please test it out on the test servers
3280s and look around what other things have
3282s been changed
3283s but uh
3285s not we didn't just change some compounds
3287s but we actually made some improvements
3289s uh to the spawn points
3292s so we have added multiple new spawn
3295s points in the sal
3296s they will be available now and we will
3298s show that you in a second on some
3300s pictures
3301s and uh maybe you want to explain what
3304s this exactly means uh what what was the
3306s systematic change we did
3309s so we have a minimum distance between
3311s spawn points where teams are allowed to
3314s spawn now uh basically what this means
3317s is it's primarily for the spawns on the
3319s cell where oftentimes especially in the
3322s west there was a lot of very
3325s clutch spawns with
3327s three or four teams basically right next
3329s to each other shoulder to shoulder and
3331s it caused a lot of frustration
3333s especially since the area is genuinely a
3336s bit more open
3337s you can see here a bit the spawns that
3339s we have on the cell this is from hunt
3340s map
3342s and a little bit the distances
3344s and you can see
3345s the situation on the west already and
3348s with this new system basically if you
3350s want to switch the next slides it's only
3352s every other spawn can be active with
3354s this scenario right now so
3357s you can see um
3359s that the ones in king snake mine you
3362s they they are still active it's not that
3364s it's always every other but if they
3367s can't have a minimum distance between
3370s them then the one spawn cancels the next
3372s one out
3373s basically that's what it is
3375s um so
3377s in this west western dissolve situation
3380s this is some constellations what it
3382s could look like right only these bonds
3384s could be active together at a time so
3386s you don't get these massive big
3389s spawn fights anymore you still get
3392s uh actually this change just real quick
3394s as a note uh to not cause any confusion
3397s here it does not affect
3399s um what was the official names
3402s still what's up bayou and uh
3405s yeah right it doesn't affect any spawns
3408s there you still get your triple spawn
3410s and salters you still get your triple
3411s spawn and devant the distance is set to
3414s a value where it does not affect these
3416s two maps it's only really specifically
3419s set to combat the issue we have on the
3421s cell on the west and east you can also
3424s see in the east a lot of spawns being
3425s really close to each other
3427s so we
3428s like we like spawn fights don't don't
3430s get me wrong i like spawn fights
3433s but they have to be fair
3434s um
3436s and they have to follow a certain rule
3438s set and this is basically our
3440s next step in um
3442s assuring that rused
3444s and then what this system also allowed
3447s us is that you can see on this slide
3449s so i just drew in some colors in there
3451s real quick is uh heritage pork only
3454s really had one spawn for it and now we
3456s could actually add two more so the green
3458s ones are three new spawns that we added
3460s there
3461s the blue one is just the one from the
3463s corner up there that i moved a bit
3464s closer and the red ones basically are
3467s removed so
3469s we were able to add three in response
3470s there one is specifically more for pearl
3473s and two for them for heritage pork and
3476s they're now with this new system
3479s basically the new system makes it that
3481s these spawns are not problematic because
3483s otherwise they would be way too close if
3485s they wouldn't cancel each other out out
3486s there would be way too close and this is
3488s only a first
3489s set
3490s of spawn points that we introduced with
3492s this new system that we have
3494s um
3495s we're looking at uh also the other maps
3498s and also other spawn points on this map
3501s but also on the old maps we're looking
3503s at new locations that this new system
3505s now would allow us to put spawn points
3507s in and um yeah this is something
3510s we are currently looking at for the next
3513s bigger update yeah and before we look at
3515s the three new spawn points uh some
3517s people said like oh but they love spawn
3519s fights we also love spam fights even if
3522s it's like three teams but uh sometimes
3524s they were not fair like on the west side
3525s on some of the west side of the cell so
3528s we just want to make sure that they are
3529s fair uh that was the main goal with this
3532s change so uh right
3534s yeah so more already mentioned this but
3536s i still get them yeah you still get the
3538s blanched ones ellen and sonsfish
3540s although i hate this one actually
3543s they're still there they're not changed
3545s uh salted pork really good one devon
3547s really good one they still happen uh
3549s catfish still happens nothing nothing
3552s has been changed there it's really this
3554s change really only affects the west and
3556s east
3557s on the cell and a little bit of the
3559s spawn points in the south as well i
3560s believe but it's mainly for it only
3562s affects dissolve right now but it allows
3564s us to add more spawn points also to the
3567s other maps
3568s in locations where they would have been
3570s too close to others uh with the old
3572s system but with the new system and they
3574s canceling the next one over out
3576s basically we can put two spawns right
3578s next to each other and just have a
3579s little bit of a variation
3581s between them
3583s and the new system would never allow to
3585s be for both of them to be active at the
3587s same time so it would take either or
3589s this is really cool for us to
3591s to shake up the whole spawn point
3593s situation a little bit
3594s because it can make a difference even if
3596s it's just
3597s 10 meters this way and looking another
3599s direction it can already make you want
3601s to go
3602s to this compound rather than to that one
3604s that you'd always go to from that spawn
3605s position so uh right it allows us to do
3608s some cool stuff when you play a lot you
3609s get so used to some of the pawn points
3611s so it's i think it's really cool to see
3612s new ones and yeah let's take a look at
3614s the three new that we've added
3617s so this is one of these
3619s these are the heritage pork ones so this
3621s one is basically the one it's kind of
3624s already been there but it's been moved
3625s more towards heritage pork now you can
3627s still go if you go to the left from
3629s where this camera is looking right now
3631s you're in pearl plantation so you can
3633s still choose but i think there's more of
3635s an incentive to go to heritage park from
3638s here
3639s here's the other park
3641s it would be this this one could be
3644s active at the same time as the one as
3646s we've seen before so these two would so
3648s basically the one we've seen before
3650s would arrive at the watchtower roughly
3653s at the same time that this spawn point
3654s would arrive at this little barn so you
3656s get this nice spawn fight over the
3659s fields back there between the two
3660s buildings
3661s uh which which i thought would would be
3664s really interesting
3665s so again like this one taking you more
3667s towards there and then this one is the
3669s one i moved more towards per plantation

3742s some technical features and it's gonna
3745s be stefan of guiding us through of uh
3748s three bigger one of these so let's just
3751s dive into these
3752s uh
3753s starting with the server stability
3755s improvements that we've added in 1.9
3758s correct so first i want to mention um so
3761s we are listening to the feedback and we
3763s are aware of the
3764s server issues we are facing at the
3766s moment
3767s so we're really totally aware of this
3769s but you also need to understand what
3771s issues we are facing at the moment and
3772s that's the reason
3774s for this first light we want to go um
3776s through it please
3778s yeah so the first one is that we're
3780s challenging the challenges with a
3781s globally open game
3783s as you know
3784s from the beginning we had an open game
3786s that means someone from australia can
3788s connect to the server and us if
3790s everything is possible if you have a
3791s ping of one hundred thousand for example
3793s in theory right you can play wherever
3795s you want with all the friends you have
3797s or just alone and that is of course also
3800s also
3801s very challenging for us now because
3803s we're getting a higher player base we
3805s face now over 30 000 players
3808s sometimes at the same time
3809s and that means um yeah we need to make
3812s some little restrictions in this regards
3814s i tell you later why but um it's fair
3816s and you will understand what we are
3818s changing at the end
3819s okay the second point is because of the
3822s a lot of data going through one channel
3824s that means everyone is connecting to one
3826s server maybe the the latency is very
3828s high at the end from the player and then
3830s he's also downloading uploading data
3833s through that one channel that means that
3835s we'll be coming delays and now i
3836s mentioned with 30 000 people connecting
3838s to one channel and it's getting stacking
3841s to each other and at the end some people
3843s experience some likes maybe on the
3844s server and that is also one of the
3847s reasons
3848s yep globally high traffic
3851s it's known that many people are now um
3853s home office for example the globally
3855s high traffic is much higher compared to
3857s two years ago
3859s and we cannot break any physics right
3861s that means if someone's connecting from
3863s one continent to the other one the
3865s latency is high um
3867s yeah that we do not own an own pipeline
3870s of internet yes yes sorry just to
3872s interrupt you for a second any chance
3874s you could turn your own volume up
3875s because i actually maxed you out but uh
3878s i think you are audible but it maybe
3880s could be a bit louder for
3882s people maximum steph yeah i i you are
3885s 200 percent on my discord now so
3887s the more the better you know uh
3889s some people say it's fine
3892s over 9000 that's exactly the hand
3894s setting so
3897s okay is it better now
3898s i think so uh i'll monitor the check
3900s thank you yeah uh sans okay sounds good
3903s yep so um and because of all the reasons
3906s i have mentioned of course also our back
3908s end is overloaded so it's a domino
3910s effect of all these um
3912s things i have mentioned now in this
3913s presentation and we have also made
3915s improvements which i will also come in
3917s later on this point and on the last
3919s point ben's please we also have face
3921s malicious attacks um sadly um but there
3924s was also one of the reasons we need to
3926s take care in the past a few months and
3929s these are the issues we're facing at the
3930s moment but
3932s good news is we have solutions in place
3934s and you will um know them very quickly
3937s in that stream here
3938s yep so the goals are of course improving
3940s overall service ability i know it's very
3943s easy just to mention over improving
3944s server performance but we have made a
3947s lot of work in this regards
3949s and we we really looked with the team
3951s with the full network team also in the
3953s back end team together with the
3954s performance team together in all the
3956s areas which we could uh whichever we
3958s could improve into the game also in a
3960s lot of work with the qa together to
3962s profile everything so with one line you
3964s will see a little got a lot of good
3966s improvements regarding these two points
3968s yeah just to mention here uh since
3971s obviously we already talked about server
3972s related issues in the last updates we
3974s have already implemented some of these
3976s and we are adding more to this update
3978s and obviously in the future as well but
3980s it's an ongoing process and uh some
3982s things take a longer time so please bear
3984s with us we are working on this is a very
3986s high priority uh with big part of the
3989s team uh so the improvements are coming
3991s and yeah stefanos said this update also
3993s has some good improvements for you in
3995s store and yeah let's take a look at
3997s those
4000s yes so we have seen that
4002s multiple dedicated server crashes
4005s appeared in the past we have fixed
4008s many of them really many of them so i
4010s hope you should not face them anymore in
4012s the game of course then on the second
4014s point please lens
4015s yeah improvements made when dedicated
4017s server lose connection to server gateway
4019s so that was also one of the reasons
4021s which i mentioned before with the domino
4022s effect that if the if you're having a
4024s big delay um between server and you
4027s you're just getting a connection timer
4029s for example and you're kicked out of the
4030s game so we made a lot of improvements
4032s and also we increase the tolerance which
4034s you can see in the last point here now
4036s that you have a you can so the
4038s connection between you and the server
4039s could take longer a little bit so you'll
4041s still connect to the server
4044s exactly so you will disconnect likes
4046s basically uh
4047s if you experienced like many disconnects
4049s in the past it should be uh
4051s they're more tolerance on a server so
4053s you won't get disconnected that easily
4055s anymore
4056s correct
4057s but as i mentioned yes with the next
4059s points i will tell you how we will fight
4061s against it a little bit to improve also
4063s your experience of the hunt game
4066s yes so we have new we have now a new
4068s system in place for stability
4070s that means also if yeah if we're getting
4072s some capacity issues at peaks um that we
4075s have this system in place now which can
4078s um just intercept all the
4080s um capacity issues
4082s and we hope then with the next new peaks
4085s we should not run into any issues
4086s anymore it doesn't matter how much
4087s players will play hunt it should
4090s hopefully be then safe and we should not
4091s see any server downside then yeah some
4094s of people uh just to uh make them
4096s understand what it means when you had
4098s the message that servers are currently
4099s or occupied and searching for servers
4102s that issue should be very quickly solved
4104s now because we can scale up the servers
4106s very quickly and uh actually in 1.8.1 uh
4110s we created a test run of it in the asia
4113s region
4114s but now with 1.9 it is coming to us as
4117s well as europe
4119s correct so asia was our let's say test
4122s pilot but now with one line we have also
4124s added for us and europe and then we
4126s should um should be fine with that
4130s and uh obviously this is always a work
4132s in progress and uh more improvements are
4134s coming over time as i mentioned uh
4136s earlier as well
4138s yep
4140s okay
4141s reduction
4142s that's a big one i know a lot of people
4144s are excited for this one so uh let's
4147s talk about it
4148s yeah i've seen a lot of comments already
4150s about it so it's nice that we're getting
4151s lots of clarification out of it why are
4153s we changing it so please spend let's go
4156s let's see yep so we have reduced the
4159s time from 60 to 45 minutes and we will
4161s tell you now why in the next slides so
4164s only really less than one percent
4167s maybe every fifth hundred or thousands
4169s of game right is just longer than 40
4171s minutes
4172s and
4173s because of the last point on here is
4175s light
4176s um it decreases server load if you
4178s reduce the time and enable also more
4179s sessions um for us of the servers and
4182s this
4183s again will increase the performance of
4185s servers and also reduce the
4187s load of hardware like cpu load or etc on
4190s the servers and because of this i mean
4192s we've seen the numbers here it's under
4194s one under one percent so we hope um the
4197s benefit is big by changing the the
4199s mission time and also the benefit is big
4201s for you because you should get a better
4203s server performance at the end and
4205s obviously we will monitor uh your
4207s feedback guys as well uh to see how you
4209s like this change but i know a lot of you
4211s are happy about it and uh we can make
4214s adjustments as needed but for now it is
4216s going to be 45 minutes
4218s correct
4221s and uh okay now let's talk about the big
4223s one that i know people have been waiting
4226s for a long time and asking for it
4228s constantly
4229s let's talk about the ping limits that we
4232s are adding and don't worry chad don't go
4234s crazy just now uh it's gonna be fine so
4237s let's take a look

4240s yep so first
4242s um as i mentioned we have a globally
4244s open game what you can do in other games
4246s for example um you can restrict areas
4248s you can only play in us you can only
4250s play and you can only play in asia
4252s you're not able to switch
4254s between these
4256s areas right but we would like to still
4258s give you the chance to play globally but
4260s there's some restriction now and that's
4262s also one of the reasons why we
4264s introduced the pick name feature so the
4266s first one is
4267s so the ping limit is at the moment and
4269s set to 225 milliseconds that is the
4272s first start
4273s so based on the statistic we have seen
4275s there is a good number
4277s and
4278s very important point is that you are
4280s still allowed to play with your friends
4281s it doesn't matter if you have any ping
4283s of thousand one hundred thousand of or
4285s five
4285s you can still play with your friends
4287s globally worldwide if you play alone you
4290s are affected of this rule most likely
4291s but if you want to play with friends you
4293s can play with them it doesn't matter it
4295s doesn't matter in which region yep and
4297s because as i mentioned because we're
4299s getting some kind of a control in ryan
4300s right now with this new feature
4303s we're reducing the server related
4305s latency a lot and this also then the
4307s benefit for you that the server will run
4308s much better
4311s yeah i just wanted to mention that
4313s obviously uh when we were working on
4315s this feature we kept you guys in mind i
4317s we know that all of you or a lot of you
4319s like playing with friends from all
4321s around the world so this was very
4322s important to us that that should be
4324s still possible and we basically targeted
4326s the uh those players that are trying to
4329s exploit the system to gain an advantage
4331s uh by abusing the ping so
4334s we focusing on those people that are
4337s using it exploitatively and at the same
4339s time trying to keep everyone happy so
4341s you can still play the game as you like
4343s in the normal way
4345s absolutely
4347s and uh yeah so this was just the
4349s highlight of this but let's dive into
4351s the actual rules that exactly and also
4354s how the exceptions work let's see
4358s correct so as i mentioned you the new
4360s maximum ping limit is 225 milliseconds
4362s so as i mentioned that's the start point
4364s okay we've seen we're getting the
4365s feedback we can change the number um any
4368s time but for now that's a starting point
4370s we think that um it will benefit the
4373s servers which will also benefit you
4375s and will also benefit your gameplay
4377s experience if you see some people who
4379s lagging around the map right
4381s um so it's a starting point maybe in the
4384s future we will improve it to a lower
4386s number but for now it's 225 milliseconds
4389s yep and then also
4391s reforcing
4392s as i mentioned if you're playing a loan
4394s let's say you have a ping of 250
4396s you're from australia you want to play
4398s on the on the new server
4400s and you have a ping of 250 you are not
4402s allowed on the eu anymore so you can
4406s check the servers in the overview and
4408s you can only select the server which is
4411s under 225 milliseconds or the rule is
4414s the best server you can get even if you
4417s have ping of thousands on every server
4419s the server with the ping of let's say
4421s one thousand one and the other two
4422s thousand one thousand three you can
4423s still play on the server on one thousand
4425s one so you're not excluded off the game
4427s so only then defer
4428s the server with the best ping is
4430s possible for you
4432s yeah we will show some examples of these
4434s in a second in image form as well so you
4436s can actually see what happens in the
4437s game
4438s and we also made some changes to how the
4440s region selection is highlighted and how
4442s that works
4445s so uh there will be some different
4447s colors uh
4448s i can go through it as well uh so we
4451s will have the blue font available for
4453s all uh those regions with the golden
4454s background which are the best regions
4457s for you so optimal regions uh with the
4459s best being available then with an orange
4461s font and greyback baron these will be
4463s the regions where your
4465s ping is medium or not super optimal but
4468s still very playable so you can easily
4470s select those and then obviously red one
4472s that uh
4473s stefan already mentioned like you can
4475s see on the asia one up there it will be
4477s grayed out and you will be logged out of
4479s that region
4482s and and here is the screen so you can
4484s also see an image example
4487s uh and as you can see it even warns you
4489s that some of the regions are blocked out
4491s for you because your latency is too high
4493s so you have to select from very slower
4495s and in this example you can see that the
4497s two u.s servers are too high
4500s asia is in the middle and europe uh is
4503s where you can
4504s optimally play with the best experience
4507s correct and also if you click on the
4509s play button and you have a higher ping
4511s this screen will appear automatically
4513s and will tell you please change your
4514s region
4516s so don't worry you don't need to do
4518s something manually then even if you
4520s click on play you will get reminded
4522s please use the server with the best
4524s thing here
4525s but the exceptions exactly let's see uh
4529s like as we establish the base rule is a
4531s 225 ping
4534s but there are some exceptions which are
4536s the following
4537s correct i touched a little bit two
4539s slides before so the first one is
4541s the best person reading has higher thing
4543s that
4544s 22 uh 222 milliseconds blood player can
4548s still select the best ping region as i
4549s mentioned so don't worry you can play
4551s anytime yeah just to again uh uh tell
4555s people what it is if let's say you're
4557s playing from
4558s uh the antarctica and uh
4560s your ping is everywhere higher than 225
4563s then technically you wouldn't be able to
4565s play anywhere but
4567s obviously we want to ensure that
4568s everyone can still play hunt so we will
4571s allow you to choose the server that has
4572s the lowest ping out of all the other
4574s servers and you can continue playing on
4576s that server
4578s and then let's look at the second uh
4581s exception
4582s yep so that is of course very important
4584s for you
4585s um invite from a brand to region where
4587s your ping it sees the threshold
4589s but you're still allowed to play it but
4592s you're getting warming uh warning pop-up
4594s that means
4595s yes you can play with your friend but it
4597s could affect the gameplay experience
4599s because of the high latency
4601s but that's the only pop-up he um just
4603s providing at the moment but you can play
4605s with your friends yeah so this was for
4607s duels when you get invited by one friend
4609s and obviously you are also able to play
4611s in teams as usual uh and in both of
4614s these cases actually the one that
4616s invites the others is the host lobby so
4619s the numbers uh the ping numbers will be
4621s calculated based on his location
4625s correct
4626s yeah as you already mentioned yes yeah
4629s and it's the same same thing and yeah
4631s let's just see at some screenshots which
4633s shows what happens
4635s so this is the
4637s first exception where your ping is uh
4640s higher in every region than the allowed
4642s one and as you can see you can still
4644s select the lowest one to play on
4648s and then
4650s here you can change uh see that uh when
4653s you get invited into a game the game
4655s will warn you that your region uh has
4657s changed and that uh you may uh it may
4660s impact your gameplay if your ping is too
4661s high
4664s and yeah i believe that's it for the
4666s region look uh
4669s if you guys have any questions regarding
4671s the uh uh any of the three topics so
4673s match timer regional log or the server
4676s uh fixes ask it now until stefan is here
4679s and uh after that we are going to move
4682s over with dennis to all the gameplay
4684s related changes
4687s gameplay just one thing i want to add
4688s like specifically about the ping limit
4691s discussion i mean obviously like the 225
4693s that might sound very large in the
4695s beginning but i mean rest assured there
4696s has been some telemetry gathering in the
4698s background so we've kind of
4700s taken a more careful step here because
4702s we also don't want this to be too
4703s intrusive right away like so this is a
4704s starting point that we nudge it closer
4706s to other numbers from there so don't
4708s freak out yet this will be step by step
4710s getting closer but we also want to make
4711s sure that this is becoming too intrusive
4713s right away and locking people out which
4714s we don't want to lock out
4716s so
4716s let this feature get refined a little
4719s bit along the way and give us the
4720s feedback please yeah feedback is always
4723s very important especially to features
4725s like this that affect the community and
4726s how you interact with the game uh so
4728s that's why task server is also a very
4730s good place to test this out and let us
4732s know how you feel if it impacted you in
4734s any shape player form
4736s uh by the way stuff and there was a
4737s question uh which
4739s yeah a very specific case like what
4741s happens if you start a game on the
4743s region that you're fine with but like
4745s during the game your ping goes over 250
4747s can you are you still uh able to finish
4749s that game or what happens then
4751s yes you're still able to finish the game
4753s there's not like a in-game check all the
4755s time that means if you
4757s starting to download something to abuse
4759s something yes it's not the case but um
4764s so there's no check in game
4766s all right thank you uh trying to look if
4768s there's any
4770s i just wanna wanna stress it out uh
4773s because i think it's important we might
4774s just be said it a couple times but i
4776s really want to make sure this hits home
4777s like
4778s it's important that we can always play
4781s at least in one server right so even if
4783s you're let's say you're you're a player
4785s from south africa right you want to play
4787s on a server
4789s you can still do that it will be still
4791s the same experience as before it's just
4793s that you might be limited in your choice
4794s of where left and right you might look
4796s for other servers but there will always
4798s be one region at least available to you
4800s and whether you play with someone it's
4802s always going to be the case that whoever
4804s is doing the invites is the one the
4806s calculation is based from so you can
4808s still play with your friends from across
4809s the atlantic that's perfectly fine you
4811s just then cannot just go there with your
4814s let's say european friends to play on
4815s maybe some us west server for example in
4818s case your ping is
4820s too high for the threshold
4822s yeah that's uh very important
4824s i also would like to add um to dennis
4826s point
4827s in our statistic we have seen with this
4829s kind of number at the moment you should
4830s not be
4831s afraid that you're not getting much
4834s players on one region right you should
4836s there's still enough player base in each
4838s region with that threshold number that
4840s means you should find the games very
4841s easily every time
4844s we will monitor and we will adjust from
4846s there obviously this being a thing that
4848s will go on to the live environment and
4849s once once it goes to the test server
4851s which obviously has bigger exposure also
4854s means you'll see data clearer there and
4856s then we will also adjust further from
4857s there like this this is something we're
4859s monitoring very closely rest assured
4862s yeah awesome uh someone asked if uh the
4865s handle or reward for the reused match
4867s time will that be affected by that or do
4870s you still get the same early
4872s extraction bonus uh but i believe it
4875s will be exactly the same so it won't be
4877s changed
4880s i'm not aware of any change there yeah
4882s uh but obviously uh
4884s we will have a detailed patch notes up
4886s as soon as the update hits test server
4888s so you will be able to read through all
4890s the changes in detail as well there

4950s details uh screen after the games
4952s i must say like i'm really amazed uh
4955s just like i mean this being mostly a
4956s service update has been like discussed
4958s in the past right like um getting
4960s stability back and getting performed
4962s seven we still had a chance to put quite
4963s a lot of gameplay stuff and i'm really
4964s happy about all the level changes that
4966s tom was presenting for level designers
4968s and hopefully we can add a couple more
4969s now in this part
4971s yeah and there's some very exciting
4972s stuff in there i can
4973s absolutely absolutely i mean this is
4975s mostly again also like thematically what
4977s you can expect today is thematically
4979s close to like the
4980s the service nature of things so expect
4982s lots of balancing lots of like
4983s improvements
4984s uh rather than completing new features
4987s but that's what we announced before so
4989s let's first talk about the team details
4991s changes so just to recap the team
4993s details that's the screen that you can
4994s access at the end of a match to kind of
4997s see what team consolations have been in
4999s that last match of yours like what's the
5001s mmr ratings or was it a fair match or
5003s not of the information that you can kind
5005s of like take from that screen
5007s but so far uh we've only ever seen the
5010s information next to each of the players
5012s this is there in relation to yourself so
5015s you couldn't really understand like how
5016s this guy might have interacted for
5017s example with one of your partners
5019s and that's what we're adding to the
5021s screen now to give you a better full
5023s picture or closer to a full picture of
5024s what was happening during the round in
5026s order to make draw conclusions and kind
5028s of replay it around a little bit in your
5030s head and see like okay what is this guy
5032s i had problems with or
5033s was this that guy that killed me
5035s so you can kind of like see the yeah the
5038s missing pieces
5039s and the yeah so uh
5041s this also introduced some new uh color
5044s for this so people can understand
5046s exactly what you said so how it relates
5048s to your partner how it relates to you
5050s and everything is color coded now and
5052s actually danny's prepared a really
5054s really cool scenario which we'll go
5056s through in a second
5057s really cool i mean yeah it's like a very
5060s specific gameplay scenario and then
5061s after uh game detail screen and we'll be
5064s able to explain everything on that so
5065s thank you for preparing that dennis as
5067s well yeah
5068s we thought that maybe it's just better
5070s to quickly run through an actual example
5072s um um so
5074s uh we'll have a look at it in a second
5075s then part of that will also be that we
5077s now have timestamps on the different
5079s actions so you can kind of like better
5081s remember okay was this at minute 13 was
5083s it many minutes um
5084s 45 like you will know from that um by
5088s looking at the timestamps which will
5090s appear if you just hover over each of
5091s these items it will be really cool like
5093s you can kind of recap the whole game in
5095s your head that way and see what happens
5097s when exactly but let's look at our uh
5100s sorry i forgot the very important icons
5103s yeah the last one is we also added one
5106s uh so we had one already for bounty
5107s possession in there like so you could
5109s see which player had a bounty in the
5112s position but he didn't know whether they
5113s actually made it out or not
5115s that's a difference we've now added as
5116s well so you can see who actually took
5117s the bounty out in case you were still in
5119s the match when that happened obviously
5120s because everything in that list is only
5122s to the point you leave the session
5123s yourself
5124s but it can help you differentiate a
5126s little bit who was a team that extracted
5128s who was a team that maybe had the bounty
5129s but then lost it along the way
5132s sounds awesome so yeah let's look at our
5134s scenario
5135s our example that you created exactly so
5138s so bear with me on this one for a bit uh
5140s obviously so we have an example here
5142s this is like a contract with two bosses
5145s in that contract you've had one duel
5147s players a and b a solo player c and
5149s another solo player d
5151s now what happened
5153s so um a and b the duo they killed the
5156s bosses and took the bounty so they won
5157s around with four bounty tokens
5159s now b of that team is being snapped by d
5162s but gets revived without further
5164s interaction so like
5165s long range shot maybe um guys being
5167s revived they move away the other guy the
5170s sniper b cannot follow them no further
5172s interactions between the two teams
5174s however on the way out c also ambushes a
5177s and b
5178s kills them and takes two of the tokens
5180s keep in mind with two bosses four tokens
5182s as a solo he can only bring two token
5184s like tokens out of the mission so
5186s obviously he takes what he can get
5187s leaving some behind then c leaves the
5190s mission uh um
5192s basically taking the bounty home without
5193s encountering d so it's a very very basic
5196s a very very um straightforward scenario
5199s and let's have a look and what this
5200s would look like afterwards in the team
5201s details and the question is is what
5202s happened to x
5205s and how many apples he had yeah
5209s so yeah this will become much clearer
5212s but i think it's important to run
5213s through this because you guys will need
5215s some context as the screen usually is
5217s only really readable to you based on
5219s your own session experience so i have to
5221s kind of build a little bit of a fake
5222s session with your hands so we can talk
5224s about it now in this particular case
5226s what you see is this is the perspective
5227s from player b
5229s um
5229s so his teammate player a you will now
5231s have a marked in in the color blue so
5234s kind of like to note that this is your
5235s teammate this is also relevant because
5238s on the right hand side you see how icons
5240s with a blue background are now basically
5242s or from the perspective of your teammate
5244s so what happened in this particular
5246s scenario here is is that
5248s player b
5250s got killed by player d so that was the
5252s sniper in the beginning he was then
5254s picked up probably like a red scar

5279s killed you there might have been some
5280s revives going on there and he then took
5283s the bounty and left so just gives you a
5285s bit more detail give a bit more context
5287s and we can look at this now from
5288s different angles as well yeah but just
5290s to
5291s explain again the blue color is always
5294s related to your partner and the white
5296s exactly as always yeah exactly so so
5298s player c has downed your partner and has
5300s killed you
5302s so
5303s what else expired like transpired there
5305s we don't know but that's the key
5306s information now now we look at this from
5307s the perspective of player c that's the
5309s killer like the one that that ambushed
5310s so
5311s he sees basically the the duel and he
5315s sees that um
5316s he killed one of the duo so this is a
5318s new variant of the skull icon you see
5320s little headshot icon little little
5322s bullet impact on the top there so
5323s whenever it's affected that player that
5325s that you see
5327s in the list then it is um with a little
5329s skull it can be blue if it was a
5331s teammate for example or it can be white
5332s if it was you the same for the death one
5334s you see right underneath that and if
5337s it's a normal icon the one that you're
5338s familiar with because you see it when
5340s your partner is down or you see it on
5341s the map that is when someone did
5344s something to your partner so it's
5345s important to differentiate between these
5347s two but obviously the tooltips we will
5349s see in a second they'll put context to
5350s it so what we see here is that uh play a
5353s got downed player b got killed
5356s um and both of these guys had two tokens
5358s at one point but since there isn't a
5360s little extraction icon to the side they
5362s apparently didn't make it out of the
5363s mission and then with player d there was
5366s no interaction
5368s and now looking from player d's
5369s perspective again
5371s he also had some interaction with player
5373s b like he sniped him from a distance he
5375s didn't have any interaction with player
5377s a and both of those had like bounty
5379s tokens but again they didn't make it out
5381s but player c the one he didn't have any
5383s interaction with um actually took the
5385s bounty and extracted with it but they
5387s didn't meet at all so rather
5390s straightforward just gives you a bit
5391s more information and we'll see that with
5393s the tooltips now and i think in the next
5394s one what actually means so like if you
5397s if you take a look now at player c's
5399s line um the blue one here is that uh
5402s basically this hunter downed your
5403s teammate and then you see the timestamp
5405s and when exactly it happened
5406s and then with the next one
5409s you can see actually multiple events
5410s here and this is something which is a
5412s little bit of a bug at the moment
5413s because normally if there's multiple
5414s events you would see little yellow icon
5417s on the bottom right corner
5419s of each of those just to denote that
5420s there's more things that that occur
5422s there in case there's multiple actions
5423s that wasn't in this example where we
5425s took the screenshots from but still you
5426s see he kind of downed you at one point
5428s and then he killed you a little bit
5430s later so probably that guy got killed
5431s during the revive or right after uh
5433s since it was so close to one another and
5434s then the last one here is the bounty uh
5437s point so he kind of took two bounty
5438s tokens here
5439s and then he extracted with a bound a
5441s little bit later down the line so again
5443s just gives you a bit more context of
5444s what's going on adding now the
5446s information of the teammate into this as
5448s the primary thing but also giving you a
5450s bit more context to what happens with
5451s the bounty in terms of possession and
5453s extraction yeah exactly and uh
5455s i saw that some people think this was
5457s confusing it's because we looked at from
5459s three different teams perspective but
5461s when you have the two tips and when you
5462s get used to it it's quite
5464s straightforward and uh you get much more
5466s information out of the game actually
5467s than before so i think it's a great
5469s change yeah so it was important to just
5471s run through this example now because
5473s people want to probably rewind a little
5474s bit afterwards and just like take notice
5476s and and dissect it but this will be so
5478s clear the moment you will be on the
5479s tester and actually try it out
5480s yourselves it just adds more information
5482s to the rules that you already have it
5483s just refines a little bit more
5485s and also please check on the the patchy
5488s notes then later on where you can see
5490s this all written down a little bit more
5491s in detail as well so that was the
5493s complicated part let's go to the easy
5495s stuff
5496s okay so uh let's get into weapon related
5500s stuff and uh starting with off with some
5502s audio improvements that were made in
5504s this update and uh this is uh mainly
5507s done to uh distance gunshot sounds
5510s suddenly we can't give you the exact
5512s distance but it's about a compound
5514s distance from you where you hear a shot
5517s and they will have a different sound
5518s effect for you to better understand what
5521s is really happening and their distance
5523s so better readability audio wise and in
5526s a second we also show you some examples
5528s of this
5530s so yeah as i mentioned this applies over
5531s long distance shot and you will be able
5534s to differentiate very well between shots
5536s that happened outside in an open area
5539s and between shots that happen inside a
5541s compound or underground and such there
5543s will be a very different audio to this
5545s and you will be able to tell the
5547s difference so
5549s uh yeah but before we get started with
5551s the videos um so there's this one thing
5553s that um
5554s you guys are probably very familiar with
5556s is that at a distance right now in life
5558s it's very hard to differentiate whether
5560s a shot was from indoors or outdoor so
5562s you really only get that difference now
5564s if you're very close by let's say i
5565s think within 200 meters but anything at
5567s a distance there was no no noticeable
5569s difference whatsoever so you couldn't
5571s really tell if like a shot came from the
5572s southeast if that was like maybe from an
5574s underground section or if there was like
5576s from
5576s from from from an indoor area so that is
5579s what changes primarily now that you can
5580s have a better chance of understanding
5582s where the shot originates from even at
5584s longer distances
5586s exactly and it's actually very very
5587s audible and we have two different
5589s examples for you
5591s so we will shush up a bit and uh let's
5594s watch uh the video
5597s so uh on the map you can see the
5598s distance between the four players
5603s this is how it stands in first person
5605s when you shoot
5607s obviously yeah
5619s just pause here for a second so in the
5621s first example you should uh could hear
5623s the two shots in the distance and they
5625s had this tail after the audio so there
5627s was a longer sound that that is very new
5630s and when it was inside you could hear
5632s that it's much much more muffled and
5634s let's just listen to it a bit more

5674s so yeah what you could hear here
5676s basically is really the tail right that
5678s gave it away um if it's if it's more
5680s more kind of muffled a little bit then
5682s usually it's an indoor sound if it has a
5684s long echoing tail then that's the
5687s outsole zone and before like what's
5689s currently on live this was only really a
5690s thing up to a certain range but not over
5693s long distances and now the new system
5695s allows for that level of granularity
5696s even at distance and that just makes the
5698s whole thing feel a lot nicer and
5699s actually gives you a chance to kind of
5701s like tell from that a little bit more
5702s where the shot might be originating from
5705s exactly and by the way dennis meanwhile
5707s i figured out why there's so many
5708s first-person shots i think it signals to
5710s the other player to shoot so they you
5712s know
5713s i'm pretty sure that's why but we have
5715s one more example to look at make sense
5717s yeah
5718s so uh yeah uh let's see
5723s i think it will be an uh uppercut and
5726s the sparks
5727s i think so
5742s so these were the shots outside and you
5744s can even see them moving inside on the
5745s screen if you have a very good eye
5770s and now it's gonna be the uppercut
5799s all right
5800s yeah so obviously if you listen to it or
5802s you can just go back and check it out
5803s again the changes are fairly obvious
5805s actually uh but you will also experience
5808s it in game when it will be much easier
5810s to tell
5812s if it's inside or outside and the
5813s distance of the shots
5815s listen for the tail
5817s and um if you don't hear it if it's a
5819s very short zone it's there's a high
5820s chance it was somehow indoors and that
5822s could have been in a boss arena it could
5823s have been in a small shack other
5825s buildings that generate this underground
5827s sections so um i think it can tell quite
5830s a bit in terms of where maybe the shot
5831s might actually originating from like are
5833s they fighting the boss well if it's an
5834s indoor zone there's a higher chance
5836s probably for that to be the case
5837s so it just gives you more information if
5839s you know how to listen to it exactly
5841s like a hunt is so audio-based everything
5843s makes a sound so it's just more info for
5845s you and i think it's just creates more
5847s immersion too in general it's like i i
5849s find it really cool all the little audio
5851s changes we've been adding lately
5853s with the horses as well in the distance
5855s so it's awesome uh but uh yeah that's
5858s about the audio weapon changes so that
5860s is i think now we getting to your
5862s favorite parts of the stream
5865s yeah so we talked a bit about about some
5866s of the weapons and how we how we're
5868s tuning them so let's start with the
5869s centennial um so centennial i personally
5872s use it a lot and uh i always get so much
5874s flack for it like this you should go why
5875s you use it you just you just use it to
5877s show us that people can actually use it
5880s fair enough but so um i was kind of
5883s happy with it but it was always a bit
5885s pressed for for its place there was
5887s always some pressure on the gun and we
5888s just want to make sure that it has a bit
5890s of an easier time you know compares to
5892s the rest so a couple things we did um
5894s the primary thing is that increasing the
5896s rate of fire across the board by 20
5898s so this basically means that like uh
5900s shooting uh ads shooting from from the
5902s shoulders as well as uh the levering
5905s overall will be a little bit faster i
5907s mean the as you know leveling was always
5908s kind of bit on the on the slow side of
5911s it and it's still 20 of slow is still
5913s kind of slow but it is a little bit
5915s better so don't expect this thing to
5917s rapid fire like the like the winfield c
5919s or or any of the other like smaller
5920s caliber ones um but still it will it
5923s will be able to just fire just a little
5925s bit better a little bit faster and that
5927s should just make the whole thing feel a
5928s bit more like as you control of what's
5930s going on
5932s yeah and it's across the board so it inc
5935s includes all the aiming types so aiming
5937s down downside shoulder aim
5939s and also the traits that you can use so
5941s iron repeater or levering as well
5944s exactly and uh
5946s let's look at some example videos then
5948s how it was before and after uh starting
5951s with adia singing iron sight
5954s the old version first
5978s yes so that was the old one and let's
5980s look at the change with the increased
5981s rate of fire
6000s yeah so i think the change on that is
6001s quite obvious and uh it just feels
6003s better especially if you shoot that much
6005s like in the video
6006s that 20 really adds up
6010s uh but let's uh look at uh hipfire or
6013s shoulder aim
6015s uh and the old version

6076s quite a lot of ammunition in that weapon

6081s example

6090s here is the new one
6096s okay i think this is really cool yeah
6098s it's like like the 20 on top it really
6099s makes difference like it before it kind
6101s of felt like so why is it not doing
6103s anything now for like split second right
6104s before it continues it felt a bit
6106s robotic
6107s um and now it feels a bit smoother
6109s because of that obviously still same off
6111s of control issues as before and it's
6113s still not the i guess most reliable of
6116s leverings um i still prefer to when you
6117s see when it comes to that
6119s but it does have uh more of a it does
6122s give more of a fighting chance now
6124s all right so uh again make sure to like
6126s play around with the centennial on test
6128s servers and let us know how you feel
6129s with all the changes regarding it rate
6132s of fire uh yeah so i seen people asking
6134s about this rof as daddy's mentioned it's
6136s rate of fire and after the videos it
6138s should be quite obvious as well
6141s but uh let's move on to the terminus
6144s changes dennis let's see what's there
6146s yeah so same treatment there but
6148s differently
6150s um so with the terminus we've been
6151s focusing primarily on the reload rather
6154s than the shooting because um the reload
6156s was actually what made the whole thing
6157s feel very slow hard to control it was
6159s like taking ages to put like a new shell
6161s in even with a cycling mechanism not
6163s being the most modern right like it has
6165s its flaws like it still felt like it
6167s could be just like speeding up a little
6169s bit because it's like a live and death
6170s thing here and now by increasing the
6172s reload speed by 20 which makes the whole
6174s thing a little bit better to to kind of
6177s top up and it doesn't feel like you're
6178s losing so much time between shots and
6180s actually gives you a bit of chance to
6181s respond and we also at the same time did
6183s a little bit of a smoothing pass across
6185s the firing animations and and the
6187s timings there and that resulted in
6189s roughly five percent of a fire rate
6190s increase as well
6192s uh exactly and uh we have some all the
6194s new examples for this as well uh so
6198s let's look at uh some of the old version
6201s and this will show a bunch of stuff
6202s actually
6205s so this is the fire
6215s and then the reload obviously this is
6218s currently on live
6219s yeah the old one slow one takes you ages
6222s it was always so slow that's why i
6225s it was not my favorite i shot again to
6227s use actually
6230s so like it gets it eventually but you're
6232s probably dead two times over already
6234s exactly
6236s and this is the 80s
6243s and let's see how it's uh changed in 1.9
6247s so
6248s hit fire
6253s so you can see like this very very minor
6255s increase in the rate of fire so it's
6257s just a little bit more of a cleanup but
6260s here this is where the magic starts so
6262s this is where you actually reload this
6263s thing and actually have a chance it
6264s still takes a long time obviously to put
6266s the rounds in just like with any weapon
6267s we reload one around after the other but
6269s overall feels so much smoother like he
6270s feels like the air weapon is actually
6271s doing what you want
6273s and that helps quite a lot
6276s exactly i think in general it just feels
6278s a bit smoother and
6280s not
6281s that super mega clunky when you reload
6286s and let's look at the examples with the
6289s levering as well for this weapon
6291s so the old version alive like as in live
6296s as you can see here like it uh kind of
6299s fired slow but felt fire steady it was
6301s more about aiming which was the issue
6303s like getting the target back on back on
6304s on your sides
6306s and there isn't too much of a change
6308s here against like the five percent
6309s change roughly that translates into it
6313s and uh obviously the last
6315s uh trade that affects it is the iron
6318s repeater
6320s i can also show here
6326s this is the old version again
6333s and here is the new on 1.9
6341s it just slightly little change feels a
6344s bit snappier right like just a little
6345s bit i think you can actually tell like
6347s uh
6348s i know it's just around five percent
6350s change but you can still feel it a bit
6352s smoother in general so i really like it
6356s yeah so like between the the the um
6358s centennial and the terminus i mean both
6360s weapons uh that i really enjoy playing
6362s but like they have always had a bit of a
6364s like they were always like like one step
6366s below some of their competitors and that
6368s hopefully just evens the playing field a
6370s little bit
6371s brings them back up more as as well as
6372s choices for some people
6374s awesome and but that's not all the
6376s balance changes we have and we have a
6379s very big one actually i guess in terms
6382s of excitement
6384s which is
6385s a change to the long ammo pistol balance
6391s yeah so
6392s for what we will talk about now it will
6394s only affect the uppercut
6396s for the moment
6397s for now yes
6399s that might mean there might be other
6400s things up in uh
6403s coming out eventually or soon or maybe a
6405s bit later we don't know we'll talk about
6407s it more in the future but this is in
6409s preparation of that but obviously also
6411s will affect the uppercut
6413s we think for the better
6417s exactly so this is this is basically i
6419s mean just show the next one already as
6420s well we're going to talk about them
6421s together so this is going to be shifting
6423s side side shifting the weapon slightly
6426s about reducing the damage at close range
6428s just a notch just a little bit while
6430s retaining actually a bit more damage
6431s than it does right now um um yeah over
6434s distance so the idea behind this is is
6436s that um we would like the uppercut to no
6439s longer down someone at
6442s hit points at the same range it does at
6444s the moment it will still be able to do
6445s it just like 10 meters less than it can
6447s do right now so right now this is i
6449s think 30 meters it can do that and it
6451s will be around 20 meters now so just a
6453s small reduction in in its base damage in
6456s order to achieve that a goal so it is
6458s below 125.
6459s on the other hand however it retains a
6461s lot more of the damage over distance
6463s which means you can actually kill people
6464s on their last 50 even further out than
6467s before and it has some knock-on effects
6468s also obviously for the headshot range so
6471s effective range in order to snipe people
6472s at distance so let's have a look at that
6475s in the graphs
6477s um so this is that i think people will
6479s be kind of split whether they called as
6481s a buff or nerf we don't think it's
6483s either we think it's it's a side change
6485s that kind of shifts the weapon just a
6486s little bit so if you take a look at the
6488s old one the orange one you see it's
6490s starting point is just a little bit
6491s higher than that and that meant that you
6492s could get to 126 damage
6495s like at 30 meters and uh with the with a
6498s changed version it's going to be around
6500s 20 meters so that's where like a bit of
6502s a nerf is happening in the short range
6504s then again over distance you can see the
6505s long ammo actually retains that damage a
6508s little bit further out so you see it's
6510s staying over 50 damage for quite some
6512s time
6513s before dropping down and then eventually
6514s obviously whether it's 19 or 12 at that
6516s long distance doesn't matter that much
6518s but there is a knock on effect if you go
6520s to the next one
6521s which is the headshot range is that
6523s because of the way the curve is adjusted
6525s and obviously headshot damage is being
6527s higher and it has an effect on the
6528s effective range effective range is
6530s basically the stat that tells you at
6532s which range can you do a headshot like
6533s one that kill 150 head points dead and
6536s you can see right now is that you are
6537s gaining quite a few meters with that's
6539s 215 so that's basically the weapon
6541s becomes more of a pocket rifle further
6543s even because it actually extends the
6545s range of the weapon quite quite a bit
6547s but it is becoming a bit less flexible
6550s less of an all-rounder up close where
6552s maybe some of the other pistols will be
6553s better choice for you you have to make
6555s that your choice yourself obviously
6557s because you can't just easily kill that
6559s dude that you downed earlier maybe just
6561s down one more time just with a body shot
6563s um because it might do now less than 125
6565s damage rather than being reliably above
6568s before again this is only for this very
6570s short distance of 20 meters we're
6572s talking about uh so so within that
6574s everything is fine as before only after
6576s that um
6578s will it not be enough anymore to to down
6580s the guy that has lost already a small
6582s chunk yeah and again just to mention it
6584s slightly it is basically to give place
6586s maybe for something that will come
6590s maybe one point
6592s so so the preparation of this you can
6594s already see like it's it's about like
6596s moving the uppercut into a specific
6599s direction moving it into what it should
6601s what it shouldn't do etc and yes as
6603s pence was saying like this is in
6605s preparation for something that's that we
6606s can talk about more in one of the next
6608s streams i guess exactly yeah awesome and
6611s uh again just test it out on that server
6613s and let us know how you feel about this
6615s change as well
6617s uh and i've seen people already
6618s mentioning are asking for this in chat
6621s but uh let's see what happens to the
6624s slugs so the slug balance pass
6627s yes slacks big big an important topic so
6630s first thing we're doing for slugs is we
6632s reduce the effective range for medium
6633s barrel length variants now what does
6635s that mean
6636s um primarily like for the shotguns when
6639s you shoot shot for example um there is a
6641s clear distinction between the different
6643s barrel lengths of shotguns we have in
6644s the game so like the sawn offs being
6646s being uh like short barrels then we have
6649s the the rival the the slate as well as
6651s the um
6653s the sp specter with the bionet being
6655s medium barrel length and then we have
6656s the romero the full length spectre as
6659s well as the auto five being long barrel
6661s and that has an effect on the choke it
6662s has an effect on how the weapon spreads
6664s when you fire shot however it did not
6667s really have so much of a difference uh
6669s when it comes to slacks and that's
6670s something we're changing now be so until
6672s now
6673s slugs have only been separated between
6675s the sawn offs and the others which means
6677s in practice the slugs are fired from
6680s let's say a specter with a bayonet and
6682s the specter without a buying it has been
6684s pretty much the same there was no clear
6686s distinction between that the only
6687s difference was that obviously the
6688s bayonet gave you a stronger sway for
6690s aiming which actually mattered for slugs
6692s but the actual projectile was identical
6695s now by introducing this difference is
6697s that we can now bring a bit more balance
6699s into the weapons that we think on the
6701s slack range they kind of need that the
6703s most so primarily the slate and the
6705s rival
6706s and obviously has a knock-on effect for
6708s the inspector buying it as well for
6709s consistency now those will have um just
6713s slightly less damage
6716s that means less one-hit kill damage um
6719s at a distance so you will have just chop
6721s off like a meter two or three depending
6724s on the weapon compared to their
6725s full-sized versions so that means they
6727s kind of sit like two-thirds i would say
6729s roughly from the saw knobs towards the
6731s the full-sized ones when they should
6732s definitely be a noticeable difference
6734s for how slugs will then operate with
6736s these weapons
6738s um we also adjusted the damage
6740s multipliers to require more precision to
6741s hit the upper torso now that means
6743s basically that you can't score so easily
6745s anymore a kill by hitting the lower
6747s torso
6748s um so you will have to be a bit more
6750s precise you will have to hit the upper
6751s torso keep in mind that if an arm is
6753s blocking it still counts as torso hit
6755s right system we have for a couple years
6756s now
6757s but the lower torso hit zone alone is
6760s meant to no longer do this at the same
6762s range so obviously if you're close
6764s enough fair enough but at a distance at
6766s one point you will have to hit the upper
6767s torso in order to to get the reliable
6769s one and kill so precision matters a
6771s little bit more for them it's less easy
6773s to just like like hip shoot and then
6774s hope for any torso hit to do the job
6777s you now need to be a bit more precise
6780s i see a lot of happy people in the chat
6781s for you so yeah
6783s i like i like people we do like them
6786s and the last thing is actually a
6788s reduction in the spare ammo count as
6790s well where we drop down the extra
6791s ammunition for when you carry slugs by
6794s 30 to 40 percent so that means depending
6797s on the weapon it's rounded up um you
6798s might lose like two or three extra
6800s shells of slugs uh compared to what you
6803s have on life so in combination we feel
6806s that this will be quite a nice balancing
6808s approach of getting those lacks a bit
6809s under control they're still powerful
6811s they're meant to be powerful it's
6812s basically like a caliber 50 or more like
6814s like musket shot coming down your range
6817s it's it's quite a big thing
6819s um and it's powerful and it's meant to
6820s kill if you were to build realistic
6823s slacks you basically wouldn't see
6824s different two rifles i guess in the game
6826s at the distances that you fight with
6828s except for precision maybe being being
6829s different
6830s um but uh since it's a game and we want
6833s to make sure that shotguns and rifles
6834s each have their own place and the slacks
6836s kind of kind of cannibalize in kind of
6838s like in in both camps a little bit
6841s this approach of how we establish slacks
6843s in hunts uh something we still want to
6844s hold on to but there was some balancing
6846s needed in order to make sure this whole
6847s thing is just
6849s better distributed and fairly
6850s distributed and overall more
6852s consistently applied
6854s so yeah tell us what you think about
6855s that one again on the test server then
6858s once once once it goes there
6860s it's easy for us to do further
6862s adjustments but first we want to see how
6863s this one goes and then if there's if
6865s there's any feedback from your side that
6867s we should move in one or the other
6868s direction with it so this one time we
6870s ask everyone to play with us live
6872s and uh yeah just see the changes let us
6874s know how you feel and uh obviously we
6876s always read your feedback on all
6877s platforms uh and we can make changes
6880s according to how you feel about it as
6881s well but uh i i think and
6884s i think a lot of people can agree with
6886s it that this is a good direction for
6887s sure and it has its own place now a bit
6889s better
6891s yeah give it a try
6894s yep and let's look at the poison changes
6897s uh that we're adding
6899s i like that this is the only slide in
6900s the presentation with a with a like a
6902s green header we have to go for the style
6904s then
6908s um so for poison it's it's basically a
6911s similar changes we've been doing to
6912s incendiary bullets in the past is that
6914s for poison bullets so that excludes for
6917s example crossbow or any area effect
6919s stuff
6920s they just use the same damage as the
6921s normal ammunition does so you still have
6923s the handicap of not being able to
6924s penetrate walls because they kind of
6925s like
6926s burst on impact right
6929s but it gives you a chance to kind of
6931s play with the silenced weapon as if you
6932s had the normal one just as you can do
6934s with the incendiary versus the normal
6936s one as well so makes the whole thing
6938s hopefully a little bit more interesting
6939s for pvp specifically since some of the

6957s special emission types so i think this
6959s is just a very small change but it's
6961s also a good and healthy one i i really
6963s like it because now i will play uh
6965s sparks not a lot more with custom memos
6967s so i i
6970s uh
6971s that was it for the poison change so
6973s again yeah just one thing so
6976s systemically obviously since they have
6977s more damage it also means ai might die a
6979s few meters further out right um so as
6982s it uses multipliers to
6985s uh kind of like calculate the total
6986s damage based hit location distance etc
6988s right so if there's higher base damage
6990s it also means that you might kill things
6992s at a further damage out like further
6994s range a little bit easier but we're
6996s talking just about a few meters so
6997s so someone has together so if it can't
6999s penetrate how does it deal the same
7001s damage maybe just like explaining that
7004s like the poison it's the poison that
7005s does the damage
7007s exactly
7009s it's just from a gameplay balancing
7010s perspective we wanted this to be a pve
7012s ammunition in the beginning right and we
7015s never really had a chance to really push
7016s this into the middle because people
7017s always eventually will fight other
7019s players and then they are disadvantaged
7020s if they commit to any of the poisoned
7022s weapons so what might be very good
7023s against ai i mean i think like like
7025s nagan silencer with poison ammo is just
7027s just such a bless when you just
7028s basically slice like through butter
7031s as you move forward like playing solo
7033s like having dual silence and against
7035s with poison ammo for me just means i can
7037s remove almost any ai with ease that's
7040s getting my way which allows me to move
7041s fast quickly relocate however
7044s at pvp it's in areas like major
7046s disadvantage and at least that is now
7048s from a damage output perspective is gone
7050s now
7052s yeah sounds good uh and also we are also
7054s looking for feedback regarding this but
7056s uh since we already on this side we also
7059s have some melee weapon changes uh and we
7062s actually have them in two different
7064s categories so the first pump would be
7066s the stamina based changes uh meaning the
7069s changes were
7070s based on the stamina consumption of
7072s those weapons and uh yeah so one more
7076s heavier pep is now possible with a few
7079s uh weapons such as the heavy knife
7082s and the saber
7084s yes let's talk about them one after the
7085s other so the heavy knife um one of the
7088s balancing things that we have been
7090s always trying to keep and maintain was
7092s the balance between the heavy knife and
7094s the regular knife and
7095s one of the things that's that's um
7098s we used to kind of differentiate them
7100s with is that the normal knife can always
7101s do four heavy attacks while the heavy
7104s knife could not
7105s and
7106s while in general that approach was okay
7108s it didn't really reflect the reality of
7110s how these weapons are being used because
7112s the heavy knife actually is more
7113s effective against normal ei if you just
7115s use a regular attack so you can just
7116s easily kill them with it with like um
7118s slashes to like the upper dosa head area
7120s uh while the heavy attack is more used
7122s against like like bigger threats now
7124s that left you to severe disadvantage for
7126s example when you went up against like a
7128s pack of hellhounds with a heavy knife
7130s like especially since we introduced like
7132s the throwing axe which is kind of
7134s overlapping a little bit with a heavy
7135s knife as well
7136s well takes more stamina and but you can
7139s throw it like it overall felt like the
7140s heavy knife is getting a lot of pressure
7142s from from multiple directions now so
7144s giving it one more heavy attack so
7146s reducing the stamina consumption so that
7148s you can do one more heavy attack
7150s um felt like we're actually opening a
7152s bit more room for that weapon and
7153s hopefully we also see the numbers go up
7155s a little bit in terms of usage with it
7158s compared to how it is being played on
7160s right now for the saber it's a similar
7163s thing however
7164s the saber is more about like that we
7166s felt most people usually bring bayonets
7169s if they want to have that type of
7170s gameplay and that means you can get gun
7171s you can get a gets get get the step
7173s attack usually like two or so steps is
7175s enough to deal with most things coming
7177s your way so the dedicated saver felt
7180s sometimes as if it's a little bit out of
7181s place like like why sacrifice that one
7183s slot that you could use for a pistol
7185s just for this edit melee option so at
7187s least we want to make it sure that like
7188s it's a bit more worthwhile even even
7190s though it wasn't probably the biggest of
7191s an issue by just giving you also one
7193s more heavy attack you can do with it
7194s just over making the zebra a bit more of
7196s a flexible choice yeah i think those uh
7199s will be appreciated by especially those
7201s that love the heavy knife like myself so
7204s uh great stuff
7205s but as mentioned earlier we also have a
7207s different category of melee weapon
7209s changes which were based on damage and
7212s uh
7213s this will affect the machete
7216s first of all so let's talk about the
7218s machete first um so the
7220s um thing here is like we we didn't want
7222s to do anything with stamina on this one
7224s because we felt like machete already is
7226s pretty economic when it comes to stamina
7227s consumption specifically the regular
7228s attacks you can just like kill them
7230s almost like any eye coming your way
7231s easily within two strikes and don't run
7233s out of semi not easily so was the
7235s problem and uh instead we felt like the
7238s weapon is just a bit underperforming so
7240s what we did is increase the heavy bass
7242s heavy attack base damage slightly um
7245s it's not gonna insta kill players so we
7247s didn't take it that far up remember some
7249s people have been with us for some time
7250s and you know how the machete was in past
7253s days um so we didn't want to go directly
7255s back to that
7256s however like before it was like 110 120
7259s damage to torso now it's like 135 it
7261s does the heavy bleeding stuff so it's
7263s putting all more pressure on the players
7265s but it also adds another change here to
7267s it which is that you can now kill an
7270s armored into heavy strikes so this is
7272s similar to what you can do with a step
7275s of a saber that kind of means that the
7276s saber and the machete become a bit
7278s closer just like the heavy knife and the
7280s knife are biting a bit closer so it's
7281s more of a style question do you want the
7283s precision of the stab which i think many
7285s people will agree is was like the the
7287s thing that really makes the knife stand
7289s out over the heavy knife for them the
7290s reliability of the attack or uh do you
7293s want uh um like in this case like the
7296s option to to um
7298s just to slash and hit multiple enemies
7299s at the same time for example like like
7301s doing heavy attacks against uh like a
7303s group by fel hounds usually means you
7304s can easily kill two of them at the same
7306s time
7307s yeah this is awesome and it really
7310s reminds me of this one guy named fisk
7312s who always run around the mashita so
7315s hope we can see him back in the valley
7316s too
7318s yeah i mean it also means like so for
7320s example i i i have to admit to myself i
7323s haven't been using the the sickle for
7325s quite a while and what used to be like a
7327s heavy knife option for example i haven't
7329s used used in in i have used quite a lot
7331s back then but since the throwing axe
7333s came out i've not used it i really like
7335s that one just because of just how
7337s awesome it feels to be using that signal
7339s um in in malay but i haven't been doing
7341s that for a while so for me for example
7343s the changes on the heavy knife will
7344s definitely mean i'll i'll try that one
7346s out and with a machete as well i
7348s definitely want to try out a couple of
7349s things with a machete more because i
7350s haven't honestly been using it quite a
7352s lot recently either so i think it just
7354s adds a little bit more space to them and
7357s rather than always going for the saber
7358s which is what i did when i when i chose
7360s a melee weapon i will definitely go and
7361s try out the machete more as well now
7364s yeah that sounds really nice and but
7366s dennis it was not the only thing that
7367s got changed based on damage but
7369s yeah all the talon variants
7372s so the talent that's more of a more of a
7374s bigger change because we are kind of re
7376s re-envisioning the talent a little bit
7378s so what what is the talent right now
7380s let's maybe recap that so the talent
7382s right now um allows you to do i think
7385s roughly five or so heavy melee attacks
7387s and it's a little bit more powerful than
7388s the machete but it's usually not enough
7390s to kill ai
7391s uh easily like it kind of underperforms
7394s and it doesn't really do the trick for
7396s for for warranty to bring it along sure
7398s it's not a bad attachment to have um but
7401s um
7402s its role has never been really clear
7403s right they tried to do like multiple
7405s things like trigger mobs uh but then
7407s again also like try to take on the
7409s bigger enemies killing players sure that
7411s was possible with it you could want to
7412s kill the players but against the ai was
7414s kind of like luster
7415s so instead of of trying to just tune a
7418s little bit with it we have reenvisioned
7419s a little bit what it means so
7421s it now acts exactly like a strike from
7424s the combat x or like the x you can find
7426s in the world
7427s um however it only has two heavy attacks
7430s possible now that means that you can
7433s basically bring it into a boss fight for
7435s example uh without having to look for an
7438s axe which is i think probably going to
7439s be very handsome for for for if you
7442s uh fight scrapbook for example who stole
7444s all the all the stuff right but you can
7445s only do two attacks so normally normal
7448s combat x allows you to do three strikes
7450s before you run out of stamina so if you
7452s didn't bring a stamina shot that one
7454s definitely gives you options but it is
7456s kind of limited so what you do with it
7458s is now you can try to prime the attack
7460s which you know is very slow and
7461s cumbersome so it never really leaned
7463s itself very well to these like combo
7464s successive strikes you you prime it you
7467s you do your ambush as before it still
7469s can can kill players but it does a
7470s little bit more reliably now even
7472s but you use that to like one strike an
7474s armor to use that to to go against the
7476s boss like you don't use it against
7478s groups of enemies this is where you go
7479s for your tool or your machete now or
7481s whatever so it has a specific purpose
7483s can i re-envision it a little bit to be
7485s your pocket combat x uh someone else
7487s different now the talon can break down
7489s reinforce doorstone like the combat x
7491s with uh two heavy hits
7493s try it out on tessera
7495s good answer it does more damage which
7497s means door receives more damage
7500s so yeah try it out guys uh i think
7502s that's a lot of really cool changes to
7504s many of the weapons and melee weapons as
7506s well and don't forget about poison so
7508s check all that out and let us know how

8635s for example just to tease you a little
8637s bit more of what's coming actually for
8639s example um with this update one nine you
8642s will see the weapons now in the hands
8644s when you look at your partner's outlines
8646s so no longer have your partner awkwardly
8648s without a weapon as hand aiming and
8649s horizon but he actually now has an
8651s outline around his weapons a very minor
8653s thing but actually something which helps
8655s quite a bit for the atmosphere and just
8656s feels a bit more consistent overall so
8659s look out for the patch notes for small
8660s things like that here and there as well
8662s another thing is interactions um
8664s for example we we have it right now on
8666s live that you can when you have a live
8668s hand grenade in your hand you can only
8670s open like doors and windows right most
8672s of the other interactions are kind of
8674s like not possible during that time this
8675s is something we've changed as well which
8677s means you can now operate like for
8678s example a lift
8680s like an elevator of some sort you can do
8681s a couple other interactions you couldn't
8682s do before in order to make best use of
8685s your explosive so a couple of things
8687s like that uh have a look at the patch
8689s notes once they are available to you and
8691s then try things out in test server i'm
8693s pretty sure there's gonna be quite a lot
8694s of bug fixes on the list as well that
8696s will make you guys very happy
8698s yeah and since you mentioned the test
8700s server i also seen a bunch of people
8701s asking vanities uh we can say that we
8703s hope to speak but uh please just keep an
8705s eye out for announcements uh we
8707s obviously always announce uh
8709s when the servers are coming back and you
8711s will be able to see it on all our
8712s socials and stuff
