s can play changes we've added tennis what
s are new in this update
s yeah so uh we're gonna talk about first
s off uh compact ammo for rifles
s um so this is something as part of our
s one boarding strategy a little bit like
s doing some some of the bouncing changes
s that we've been kind of discussing for a
s while now and one of the things you want
s to do is want to ensure that um
s specifically the compact ammo rifle so
s this is specifically excluding the
s handguns
s um have a slightly higher effective
s range which means a higher headshot
s range so that you can kind of use some
s of them a bit more competitively and it
s also helps to kind of Bring Down The
s Long ammo meta which we still see as
s being a dominant strategy in loadouts
s which is okay people can play whatever
s they like but this gives like some of
s the players who don't play long are more
s a bit more of a Competitive Edge so
s don't expect this to go up like to 2-300
s meters right but it's going to be
s sitting roughly below that little bit
s um I think for the regular wind field
s we're talking about like roughly um 150
s meters with the new changes so you get
s like 50 boost on top roughly a bit more
s and with FMJ it can kind of go a little
s bit higher so maybe time to dust off
s that Winfield Marksman or the aperture
s and just try them out on a test server
s so I'll get a feeling for them there's
s no other changes to the compact ammo
s like so in terms of how they hit or the
s damage it's just specifically on the
s headshot side of things which we refer
s to as effective range in the stats
s if you do have some changes to the
s explosive customer move for the uppercut
s as well yeah so this is also more of a
s minor change
s um I mean most people know that
s explosive upper cup uppercut elimination
s isn't really a fan favorite and that is
s perfectly fine we also had to do like a
s lot of changes to it a long time ago
s when it comes to making sure that
s explosive ammunition is not a problem
s for example on consoles where Precision
s aim is a bit harder and the splash
s damage actually gave you a bit of an
s advantage so no changes to Splash damage
s this is just that you finally have a
s chance as it is in line with for example
s the Martin Henry explosive or the spring
s fit explosive that are to a fraction of
s their normal effective range you can
s also do no headshots so in a compound if
s you have that loaded in maybe you can do
s that headshot now but I can tell if
s meters is not a lot so you really have
s to be close but at least you do not need
s to like hit them two or three times in
s the Torso in order to kill them there is
s a chance we do that will that make this
s thing become meta no we don't think so
s it's just a small consistency change
s quality of life just to bring a little
s bit more to the foreground as an option
s yeah I yeah I barely ever faced
s explosive uppercuts so I think it's
s gonna be cool to see a bit more of those
s in the bio but we still have some other
s gameplay changes and yeah then um just a
s minor thing as well the the Pax claw has
s received a similar treatment as we've
s been doing with the officer brawler like
s in one of the latest updates where we
s basically say now we treat this as being
s a knife attachment that does the same
s damage as a knife
s um it consumes a little bit more stamina
s still has the knife so there's a
s trade-off
s um but you can now more reliably use
s this as if you were to use a knife so if
s you want to leave your knife at home and
s you think it's fine with the uh for
s example some air consumption I just want
s to bring dussels alongside it's just an
s option for you minor thing again a bit
s of quality life for you guys
