@not_mynes I think at this point it's not even about the "what if Twitter goes down?!" scenario. Instead, I think people have discovered a Twitter-esque platform that isn't run by a megalomaniac who posts Harambe memes in 2022 and then thinks they're 'sofunnyKEK'. lol

@reddoons I have my own personal feelings about the situation. I agree with some things ppl are saying about the Twitter shutdown possibilities, but there are things I definitely overall disagree with (eg. The likelihood of Twitter actually shutting down, for one lol).

@reddoons It's a complicated situation, and I think ppl need to first identify and define what 'shut down' actually means. I think the moment Twitter becomes not mainstream is the moment it 'dies' (ie. Twitter not being what it used to be)

@reddoons Honestly, it's a waiting game. And I think ppl are wise to claim stake in other platforms until we see the final outcome lol.
