Feeling like a drug dealer as I’m bulk prepping for socially distant Halloween candy
Gonna be using a sliding chute and also aerial drone deliveries for neighbourhood kids that are isolating.
Always wanted to be the ‘one who gives out the good stuff ‘ for Halloween lol. http://pbs.twimg.com/media/EkneJCzXIAEHef2.jpg
@NiclasOlofsson It’s really novel , it has a light sensor which detects when they manually triggered aux led flicks on and off 3 times it activates a deploy mechanism.
Halloween candy drone delivery (for self isolating kids) test 1.
Drone worked perfectly but the sides of the bag ripped on impact with the ground causing two sweets to spill.
We tried it again and it worked but need to revisit / improve bag strength.
Any ideas folks? http://pbs.twimg.com/ext_tw_video_thumb/1317849668643135490/pu/img/b0MYfWTj6Tt-wAus.jpg
@Marc_IRL 5km but signals responsive at 1km , theres many considerations however. Height, line of sight etc. Here in the UK you need to keep a line of sight at all times.
