@BeyhiveBoss @Hytale We are working on the game. That's what we are doing :P
There is no need to keep the hype trusters to 110%, we can do that before release :)
@BeyhiveBoss @Hytale Does not matter at all to us to keep the "hype" levels 100% for months, we are dedicated to making a good game and it's where our focus is.
A lot of people signed up for beta and are just waiting, that's ok.
As we get closer to beta we will ramp up trailer production and such.
@BeyhiveBoss @Hytale If you lookup any video games announcement - it's always like that. When it first gets announced people are excited, sign up and the hype is high. Then there's a waiting time while the people work hard on the game for players to enjoy :)
It's just normal.
@BeyhiveBoss @Hytale That's why the release date is "when it's ready!" :)
We have funds, support and the people to make it happen. We just need the community to be patient and enjoy the journey with us!
@itsnevertene I don't think you are going to gather valuable data from this tbh.
From my experience, almost every single false ban claims I've seen on Twitter ended up being real bans. Sometimes caused by them hacking on an alt, or someone stealing their account, etc.
@itsnevertene Also, you tend to attract a demographic that has a higher chance of being involved in pvp (and hacking) - so the statistics are going to be screwed.
If we were to ask a broader audience at random, it would show a totally different result.
@AciDicGamerz Trying something different to see if people like this more than buying mystery boxes, because they literally dont sell at all anymore except in bundles.
Its cheaper and gives back ton of free stuff, kinda need to try things out for server to break even and grow the team tbh
@AciDicGamerz If people are upset about a few cosmetics sold in a different way, then idk, I dont want to scale down the team for MC. My goal isnt to make profits with the server, its to have its own growth and experiment with ideas.
@SamitoFPS @AciDicGamerz No wonder why so many servers closes, its really hard to get income up under the current rules and game restrictions.
That’s why you see new servers poping up and closing every months by the same people.
@itsnevertene Every single time we release a paid feature it’s like this tbh.
I don’t think people understand how expensive it is to run a server with a dedicated team + DDoS protection and all the other stuff.
Its literally a necessity but people think we here to make big $ lol
@itsnevertene Its a weird graph because MC kinda peaked in 2014/2015 CCU wise across the board. Maybe younger audiance uses less google searches and the addition of recipes in-game killed the high search? Forums/wiki were literally required to even play MC in early days
Was looking at our Hytale YouTube stats and noticed Brazil is #1 in the views and has tons of cool channels related to Hytale :O
You guys are awesome! :D
@Pikaclicks @SamitoFPS @Mojang Pretty sure hack makers dont give a crap about these others servers. Major difference.
f*cking annoyed by these comments tbh.
@Pikaclicks @SamitoFPS @Mojang The amount of alts and issues going on with MC makes it a never ending battle that we spent and still spends hundreds of thousands of $ to fight for.
It’s never going to be perfect because of how the client is made. Its logic.
@Pikaclicks @Kuovay @SamitoFPS @Mojang There is no absolute perfect solution here and everyone is f*cking annoyed Noah.
I keep investing in this sh*t, we have good weeks/months and then some bad ones.
It’s just how it works for a high profile server dealing with client authoritive game
@Pikaclicks @Kuovay @SamitoFPS @Mojang That’s what you think, we tried that as well on a small sample years ago and it backfired hard, imagine it catching accidentally a high profile player and then huge drama against server? Yeah people expect perfection in an imperfect client world
@Pikaclicks @P0WNS @Kuovay @SamitoFPS @Mojang Because it takes 5 seconds to change your IP.
Because imagine playing on college wifi and then getting banned.
Family member hacking etc.
List goes on and on.
@itsnevertene I randomly checked a few names of those so-called "legit players" and the ones I checked were 100% cheating and are extremely vocal about not cheating.
New detection methods added past week, do we really need to warn players when we add methods so they turn off their hacks?
@itsnevertene Manual bans or WD bans?
I can launch an investigation but I wouldn't be surprised some of them are using alts to hack on or something of that nature.
@itsnevertene @awnugamingLLC every one and their moms are playing on 2000 different clients
use clients at own risk im not going to spend thousands of hours on reviewing clients
reality is, no one is getting banned on vanilla client or badlion
how hard it is for people to understand lol
@itsnevertene @TNTShawn @Im2Nty Some clients/mods aren't properly shown, its a mess to work with tbh
Anyway, lots of changes coming and we will be making a post in the future
going back to my things now, bbl
@ItsTenebrous @RapidPixelsMC @calthekidftw @HypixelNetwork Would be funny if he didn’t use a client, but he did (or someone logged on his account with it) rip
@KeaganXD @ItsTenebrous @RapidPixelsMC @calthekidftw @HypixelNetwork Yes but your account security is your own responsibility, otherwise people would use this as an excuse all the time and use vpn
Noticed a large amount of Minecraft players getting their account stolen and used to hack with - please remember to change your password on a monthly basis and never use that password elsewhere.
Unfortunately, you will not be unbanned if the account is caught hacking on Hypixel.
