@flash_canadian @Hytale Various phases of internal testing is definitely part of the plan for the next foreseeable, but we don't want people to get themselves hyped for some kind of big public launch before 2023 at the earliest.

@restmeinesleben @LogadoPolina Happy to answer: The previous approach we had to releasing on PC would have made it pretty much impossible to THEN release it on consoles / mobile without having to more-or-less restart the entire project. Which wasn't feasible for us.
@InTheLittleWood Understand your sadness, but contest strongly the idea that it won't 'survive'.
It's not a game that's out yet, we've not sold any copies or taken any early access money etc.
This decision was made with full context and care around what we think would be best for the game
