This is the dumbest sh*t ever, literally taking pre-generated Minecraft region files and selling them for thousands of dollars.

They didn't even bother taking the time to create their own game or software to generate, render or build, what a joke.

This is why I am vocal about it: if you are into NFT, you are part of the problem. Don't try to convince yourself you are not.

This kind of processus are not new, and always existed in the domain of "Art". quaks selling their crap pretending it was masterpieces. It is all speculation. What is new tho, is the indecent scale it is taking with crypto, and the dramatic impact it has on CO2 release.

If you are a famous artist into NFT, quit the "look how amazing for Artists it is" speech, you are not fooling anyone. Just admit that you're just greedy and interested by the money you could make in your bubble of rich and privileged friends. When did capitalism started caring ?

I’m sure it’s great money/tech for the people involved.

I have no strong opinion other than I’m not interested or excited about it all.

I’m aware I could make lots of money given the platform I have.

Tip for ppl starting out in #gameaudio / #sounddesign - find FX list's from commercial libraries you like, but that you don't own. Analyze them. Some spreadsheets detail mics, formats, metadata, descriptions. It's a good start for generating ideas in your own content creation.
