I need a man for a panel. Does anyone know any men?
That feel when Chrome recommends a WandaVision spoiler as a news article, but you manage to look away fast enough and then mark it as "Don't show me this article".....and then it shows you the article again the next time you open a tab. WTF Chrome. #f*ckGoogle

Impromptu leak from Hypixel Studios Devchat's community content channel and @oscastyle about this analysis video that @KweebecCorner and @Slammaaa made
Stuff like this is our motivation fuel - tysm!

Enormous shoutout to @Slammaaa for helping me spot all those Motifs! I managed to catch a few myself so hopefully you're proud of me lo-fi master! :)
Next, I will certainly refine legs + reflection on shell again, and push some areas (leaves?) a bit further. I like the sketchy / handpainted style, but sometimes it hurts a bit the readability of the overall piece - I need to find the right balance. Thoughts?
Centipede still felt off - like if it was smashes over the art, not properly integrated in the environment. I had to make many light adjustment, and spend quite some time working on subsurface of legs + reflection of environment + contrast adjustment on roots. Now a bit better.
However, something felt of with composition. The strength lines where not helping eye of spectator to travel through the art - and tell the story in the order. I wanted the eyes to first see: centipede > Plush > Kid . I remade the centipede, rotated it draws a line toward kid
So here am I, going back brainstorming - and wondering, in this specific environment, earthy, moist, and gnarled place. What would be THE THING coming right from my nightmares, predating on this little kid? I stumbled upon pictures of giant centipedes - it was it!
I wasn't convinced with this creature. I felt its design was something I already explored, and it didn't convey the "terror" I wanted to express. But I kept refining the details - even tho I was feeling it was not the right direction. I hovewer loved the bottom part of the art.
I liked the sketch, and thought I should iterate on it. I always loved to tell stories through my drawings and to build a context around it. A recurrent thematic you'll see in my stuff is the pure"fear from monsters". So here I am, adding this hairy yeti guy, and a terrified kid.
Very first sketch for this one originated from a speedpainting session - the theme was "Root maze", we had 30 min to make something and this is what I came up with - I was happy!
It's been a while I've been working on a personal piece and I thought it would be helpful to share some ongoing process! "The Hunt" is still WIP, there are some parts I'd like to refine - Breakdown thread underneath! (and no, it's NOT from Hytale 😏 ) #conceptart
Is it too late to cash in on the cryptoart hype with some cheap cubical shader fx?
Your daily dose of cursed #Hytale content - enjoy :)
