I have been reading chat messages (not just one person, at least five or ten different people) like this since hours and unlike any other game, they don't get deleted. I can't even find an option to report them.
Is this type of speech allowed in this game?

This is a pretty disappointing response. The comment in question has a slur and is joking about the murder of school children. Surely you can do better than "we're not sure whether this needs moderation yet"
That's not what I said at all. I'm not someone who sets those rules. Personally I don't think that was appropriate at all. I can't speak for the whole team on this but I don't think it will be a hard sell to convince anyone else that it was inappropriate. I can't do anything about it myself. Especially while I'm on vacation. I want it dealt with so I directed them to the method by which they could report it. Please do not try to read into what I'm saying. Please read what I'm actually saying.
Edit: and I see several other replies to this effect now so this was probably unnecessary.
