[2023] Unclear about damage scaling

Hi all,

Enjoying the game so far!

I found these two items on my necromancer and i was wondering about something. Do the traits of these items work with my summons if i make my summons fire based with the special fire nodes in the skills? Like fire golem, fire wraith, fire skellie mage etc? Or do i specifally need + MINION fire damage?

If i change i.e. golem to FIRE golem, does it become a fire spell and does it thereby scale with +1 level of fire spell skills and xxx% increase in fire damage and the on hit procs?
