External link →There is! I play mainly with a gamepad but there are some things, like entering text or lots of moving things around in the inventory that I’ll quickly swap over to keyboard and mouse for. We’re continuing to improve it and make things more fluid and fast.
The game currently offers partial controller support, but full controller support is still the end goal and will be available by launch. Partial support means that not every action in game can be performed using a controller. This is what's been implemented for controller thus far:

It's certainly not perfect yet and there's still plenty of functionality missing but I've played the game for a long time now using only the controller, with some additional mouse input for actions I can't yet do with controller, and it's worked quite well.
