[2023] An ode to awesome developers

I am a long-time lurker on this sub because I was hooked on the game the moment I saw it. Sadly, I couldn’t afford it for the longest time.

Having put a few hundred hours into the game now, I can, with 100% certainty, say that this game has blown me away. It has the potential to revolutionize the very genre that has been dead since its start in the late 90s early 2000s. (and would have been even more without Path of Exile).

Exploring a good part of available content, and the myriad of builds, with the intimidating amount of classes and masteries it has to offer. The sheer amount of builds and combinations out there is awe-inspiring. I haven't even scratched the surface of everything there is to see. The future possibilities that are coming are endless and the devs are only going to add more and more.

The community that it created always tries to help newbies and make their experience better. The multiplayer is only going to get better over time. I really can’t see an end to it and it will for sure become my new Diablo 2, giving me the possibility to enter the five digit play time numbers.

ARPGs are my heart and soul and there isn’t one on the market that I haven’t sunk hundreds if not thousands of hours in. (looking at you Diablo, my childhood destroyer). But Last Epoch really encompasses my favorite aspects of all the other games in a symphony of grinding, death, and destruction. And for that I only have you to thank dear devs.

Thank you for enriching this amazing genre and thank you for being engaged in the community and listening to the feedback your fans have to offer.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this awesome journey.
