I actually just saw you other post talking about the bundle deal vs getting the items you want. where you could pay 60 buck for your void items but if you want it all a bundle deal could be available. I think that is a pretty good way to go. You please the collectors and please the people who want just the one item because it looks cool and they don't have to go all in. I do think this is a great idea and also means you don't have to do the whole path of exile future packs get discounted with the price you spent on the previous packs. (Not really discounted you still spend the same but its more manageable for the people who want it over a longer period of time.)
I understand that the higher tier packs cost more because they have more practical effects and are flashier. And probably take more dev time to make as well. I Don't think the packs are over priced for the cosmetics they give but over priced for the "perceived value"
I really think for me is that the 60$ pack that does come with some cool cosmetics also only comes with 15$ worth of currency when the 20$ pack also comes with 15$ worth of currency. I think that's the number one thing that makes me go "man these higher value packs are not really worth it for me" The few friends I play with share this view as well but I cant speak for more then us 3 lol.
Edit: From a player and buyer standpoint I just want more for my money but from a business standpoint I think you may have made the smaller pack look too valuable. For 20$ you get 3 cosmetics and 15$ worth of points. imagine if that was 3 cosmetics and only 5$ worth of points so now your training the buyer to say ok the company values these cosmetics at 15$
Now if we go to the 60$ pack and we provide 3 better cosmetics and 25$ worth of points you are saying you value those cosmetics at 35$ That's not a huge jump from the 15$ worth of cosmetics from earlier. Its all how the buyer looks at and sees the pricing and compares it to the cheaper options.
That's some of my beta feedback for the cosmetic store anyways. Thanks for taking the time to read the feedback!
