so i just encountered a pretty annoying bug, i've been playing in offline mode so i'm not sure if this has anything to do with it.
i had a power outage while i was playing and when i got back on, that character was completely gone, 2 days of progress completely gone, i know in the grand scheme of things it really isn't all that long but it's still really annoying, i was wondering if there was anything i could do to get the character back or do i just need to start a new one?

it was an offline character and since it was an offline character i'd imagine there isn't much to be done about it outside of using a backup. but it's cool, i've enjoyed this game so i don't mind all that much.
Yea offline character data is stored locally so unless there was a steam cloud save there’s not much that can be done about that. Hate to hear when someone loses a character that way though. Glad you’re enjoying the game!
Is the game not saving the character data every few minutes ?
Or say on zone change ?
Save events happen very frequently. Item pickup, transition, item change, etc.
