Runemaster is amazing work. It has a range of flexibility and customizability that puts other ARPGs to shame, and its abilities have a level of oomph and feel of visceral power I really didn't think we'd get with Last Epoch. Runic Invocation is far and away one of the coolest things I've ever seen in an ARPG.

The problem is how half-baked many of the other classes now seem. After Runemaster, the fact that I have such limited flexibility in choosing damage types with my Sentinel or Forge Guard feels arbitrary, and I don't know why my Hammer Throw and Shield Throw and melee skills have to feel so non-impactful when Runemaster proves Eleventh Hour know how to make hard-hitting skill animations.

I know the team has other priorities for 1.0, but as it stands the existence of Runemaster makes other masteries feel like they're still stuck in the early part of early access.

We’re definitely getting better at designing these classes and have a larger and more experienced team than we used to. We’ll continue going back to bring other classes, skills, enemies, visuals, etc. up in quality. We certainly agree that there’s plenty of opportunity to make lots of improvements in content we’ve been implementing over the years and we’ll balance those efforts with brand new content additions. The goal is to make the game bigger and better every few months which will include a wide variety of updates
