Hello guys, so i recently got into this game, and so far i really like it overall, the combat feels great, the builds feel great and i also think this game is one of those few games that show it was made by people who actually play games like the one they're making, they should get a lot of credit for making the player experience as smooth as possible and i appreciate that a lot.
However, i'm that kind of player who likes to explore the whole map, i don't care about the question mark telling me where i have to go, i NEED to walk around, clear everything and see every little corner of the maps.
And in this game i never feel rewarded for that. Aside from finding more normal monsters to kill and therefore getting more exp than if i was just going straight to the objective, i usually get nothing more than that for all my exploration.
I don't get any unique encounters, i don't get any kind of events, i don't get any kind of hiddens dungeons, i don't find any extra side quests (all of these things kept me really engaged in the Diablo 4 beta), i don't find any lore pieces, i don't find anything really, all we get from exploring is killing more normal monsters and finding some of those little chests, that almost never have anything useful at all in them. Now, before i continue my little rant, i have to state that i only got to lvl 30 so far, so i don't know if the lategame areas have more content, if they do, please let me know.
But anyway, even knowing that i won't get rewarded, i still walk around and do everything, because that's just how i'm wired and because i enjoy the combat enough to just enjoy running around killing things, but i just feel i'll get tired quickly if that's all there is.
Now, i know this is early access and that the devs are still constantly adding things, i made this post here just to give feedback really, and also to know what everyone else thinks about this? Also, since i haven't been here for long, i don't know if this is an issue that the devs already touched upon and are aware of, is that the case?
