There is absolutely no situation in which I would want to cast an ability at a fence or a pile of wood instead of a distant enemy. Nor is there any conceivable situation in which I would want to use a travel skill to hit the barrels next to me instead of actually travelling.

Meanwhile, targeting enemies is finicky. Targeting seems to vanish for enemies in melee range and projectile abilities don't lock on properly, so your projectiles can just slide past the legs of a spider, and targeting enemies when kiting is unreliable at best, while my character apparently has Soldier 76's auto-aim for every inanimate object on the screen.

Please EHG, it makes controller play maddening
