I've noticed a lot of people are accidentally hitting one or the other and are uncertain as to how they got there and how to correct their problem. Remember to try those. Rebind them if frequent toggling becomes an issue.
Also, I've heard one claim it's alt-z, but that's not what my controls menu shows. It should still work since you still hit z.
