Controller support still has a lot of issues that are yet to be resolved. I was going to report a visual bug with the Nemesis system, where it's impossible to view the description of the incoming reward items without switching to the mouse. But as far as I can see, there's no button combination to open the bug reporting tool with the controller, and the bindings for it in the input menu are outright disabled. So the only thing you can do is press the Home button (or equivalent for your controller) to open the main menu, which then lets you click on the reporting tool...
...except when you first press it, it gets rid of whatever menu you're in. So you can't report any menu-related visual bugs on the controller, not with a screenshot. There is a binding for opening the tool when using mouse and keyboard (F8 by default), but that doesn't work for me. Changing it to a different key doesn't seem to fix it either. So you can't report the interface bugs that do happen with mouse and keyboard, either.
It's not even clear to me when is the screenshot for the bug report made. Is it right when you click the button? Or is it made afterwards? Because if it is made afterwards, that's already too late for a lot of temporary visual bugs to be captured on screen before they're gone. And the controller layout disappears whenever you're writing anything in the bug description, so if it's controller related, that's also impossible to report. The screenshot should be taken as soon as the reporting tool button is pressed, and we should be able to see it to make sure we managed to capture the bug in question.
This is a very serious issue that should be addressed asap, and I'm honestly a bit shocked it's been like this for so long. If we can't even report the bugs, how are they going to be squashed?
