I hate this so much. When you complete an item, it will always go into the first available slot in your inventory, regardless of where it's components were. Currently, ironspike whip, stopwatch, and qss are the active components in the game. If I go out of my way to move one of these to a particular key, it's probably because I expect that ability to occur when I press that key. Why, when I upgrade the component, do I now have to move it back to that button again? Especially when most of the active abilities are ones which encourage tight, in-combat timing (goredrinker, qss, zhonyas). Having something which has already been bound to a specific button suddenly switch a few minutes later is super unintuitive and can totally get you killed if you don't notice. This seems like a trivial thing to fix which should've been in the game since the start.

Boy howdy this does sound annoying. Would be a shame if someone were to write a ticket proposing a fix for it right now. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

No promises on timeline, etc etc but this sounds like a nice little QoL update we could reasonably make when there's a quiet period.
