[2022] LEC is quite interesting this split

My mate is one of the 12 Astralis Fans whild im one of the endless number of G2 Fans. I ofc wish G2 would be in a better spot in the standings, butci still 100% believe in this roster and the team behind it.

But what inspired me to make this post is: my mate just wrote in Discord "today astralis is vs MSF and G2 vs XL. Gonna be thrilling matches" and out of habit i at first thought, it doesn't sound special at all. But then i remembered the current standings etc and he's right.

We're 5 games away from regular season ending and every game still matters a lot and i could see every game going either way. And while theres not much hope for BDS, them upsetting one game can still have a huge impact on the standings and therefore the playoffs.

The quality of league in the LEC might have been better in precious seasons. But it hasn't been this openendes in a long time, and as a sports fan, i enjoy this scenario so so much.

In theory Even SK on 9th place could still get 2nd place with "only a 60% winrate in the remaining games". And all of the top 8 could theoretically contesr for top1. Ofc i dont think that it is likely to happen, but the fact that it could is huge.
