With the LEC being broadcasted on their own lec twitch channel what does this mean for the viewership of the european league? Currently no news if LCS will also have to stream on their own channel but it seems a questionable decision at best. Further dividing viewers, is this going to mean less viewers for the lec? Who knows, absolutely no context regarding this decision, just a tweet from a caster, no other official announcement or anything.

The riot games channel is gonna host the lec channel. I really dont think there will be a big loss in viewership.

True, I just dont think it will be a big impact on total viewer numbers, especially past the first few days. But I guess we will see how it turns out.

They already did this once and the viewership drop was huge
