Outside the arena with the massive crowd in the cold night air was a genuinely magical experience. Me and my best friend screamed our lungs out that night.

I don't think any place with that amount of homeless people and 1%ers can be close to the best place in the world. Climate wise it's fantastic, the public transit is... serviceable (bad compared to the rest of the developed world), food scene is pretty good. But from my experience IMO it's basically just a worse version of the greater Sydney area
Agreed that we need to provide the people with affordable (better yet, public) housing. But that’s a national issue, not just a city issue.
