In Patch 13.14, the rank thresholds for some Clash challenges were lowered, probably in an effort to compensate for the reduced Clash frequency.

However, these changes were not nearly enough (except for Coordinated Clash). The current requirement to get Challenger in Clash Champion is winning 300 brackets. Considering that about 99.8% of players haven't even won 3 brackets since Challenges came out, this is ridiculous. As far as DarkIntaqt can tell, the highest rank anyone has reached so far is Gold in Clash Contenders and Silver in Clash Champion.

With two Clash days per month, i.e. 24 Clashes per year, getting to Master (not even Challenger) in

- Clash Champion takes 150/24 = over 6 years,

- Clash Contenders takes 480/(24*3) = over 6 years.

That is, if you play every Clash and win every game.

Now, in case someone who can do something reads this, let me use the opportunity to suggest better thresholds for the ranks:

Clash Contenders: 2-5-10-18-30-45-70-100-150

Clash Champion: 1-2-4-6-9-12-15-20-25

Also, there's a bug with Dream Team where you only get the points if you play consecutive Clashes with the same team. If you play with another team, you lose your points and go back to 1.

While we're at it, why not make Scoreboard have GM/Challenger rank with an API-supported leaderboard? Clash Champion and Clash Contenders have it, so there's no reason why Scoreboard shouldn't, right? (Please.)

I've had 2 succesful attempts that did not achieve the challenge, and multiple people on Reddit have made posts about it aswell.

Adding on /u/BarackProbama's comment on this to say "we're looking into this, expect them to change!" We want challenges to take several years, but with a challenge that's triple-stacked against you (requires you to win games AND you can't progress it consistently on your own schedule), it's a bit unfair to ask for this much perfection.

/u/Levinant- we totally agree with you that these are too difficult. The intention was to capture the effort people had already put into Clash, and make sure that they didn't get an unfair advantage, but what we changed the values to didn't exactly match up to that intent. My intention is to significantly lower both challenges. Making progress into the middle tiers will be a lot easier, and the harder tiers will be possible with perfect records after 2-3 years.

Most of these are on my watch-list :) Not sure if/when they might get updates, but I know that some challenges need both a balance pass and their descriptions updated to reflect what we're actually asking you to do. Farm Champs is one of those examples - it's presently set to need you to do that many kills in one game, rather than adding up progress over separate games. We don't want to make challenges' requirements harder, so if that one gets changed, we'll likely lower the values and make it clear that it has to be done in one game.
