[2019] In the wake of Riot Game becoming Riot Games, let's create an archive of all the nostalgic League boomer references.

Basically, it's almost inevitable that with all of the new games and media Riot is producing that the community will be swelled by a lot of normies who don't even remember how back in the day we used to have to log into the client twice, through 300 ping, and play a cyberspace space invaders minigame with mordekaiser bugs just to get into queue.

Well, that's still kind of the case but you get the idea :⁾

The community growing is of course welcome but we now get to rightfully take our place as the hipster grandpas who knew Riot before they were cool (like someone who played in the beta now).

Any League references are welcome, preferably phrased as a story you would tell newcomers, as opposed to just "remember boot enchantments?"
