Whether it's on some Rioter's next to no followers twitter account or buried deep in a comment section on Reddit.
You might just stumble upon a rioter that is shedding light on a given situation.
But for the rest of the playerbase that isn't carefully combing through every comment section of every post on this sub or any of the over 160 champion subreddits and isn't checking every single Riot employee's twitter account to see if they've posted anything league related.
We are left sitting in the dark...
EDIT: To all of the people who think that i have a problem with Riot employees posting on their Twitter or Reddit accounts allow me to make this clear:
I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH RIOTERS MAKING POSTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR POSTING COMMENTS ON REDDIT!
I am grateful that those Rioters take time off their day to try and shed light on whatever situation is either worrying or bothering the community.
The problem that i have is that unless someone decides to make a post directly quoting a Rioter and that post reaches the top of the sub like u/Macaulyn did here: Riot Reav3 on the community sentiment that League is in "Maintenance Mode"
Most people would have no idea what's going on...
That specific post is a quote where Reav3 the lead gameplay producer, says that the game modes team has moved to the skin team and that Riot has staffing issues.
Those are two very important pieces of information that were buried in a comment section on a now two day old post...
EDIT 2: I just found out from reading the comments that there is a way to track what LoL devs are saying on twitter and reddit.
This is for Twitter: @LoLDev and this is for Reddit: r/leagueofriot
Thank you to the people that pointed these Dev trackers out.
