[2021] Eternals were such a bad idea, Riot just stopped monetizing from it

Have you noticed that they've done ZERO updates to eternals?
That aside, isn't it a little interesting that paid Eternals are thrown into everything as bloat rewards?
Event Passes, certain orbs, clash rewards, ranked rewards, etc.
I just realized I literally have 50 of the paid eternals and I've not once wasted my money on it.

Along with the soon coming challenge accolades, I think we all know Eternals are a complete waste of everyone's time- and are basically the equal of sprays in shooters. Useless and unwanted, even for a cosmetic.

This is correct. Last update we gave was "need to hire more designers before we can resume work on them". This has since happened.

This is unfortunately the reality of game development and the trade off of transparency. The options are basically give an update of how things are at that moment in time with the knowledge it could change, or say nothing. I prefer the former, but it can be frustrating either way.

This is a thing that does suck about the current setup - context is hard to recognize. We have a couple ideas on how to improve this in the future, e.g. normalizing the callout to something that is universally interesting like milestones.

You can do that, for what it’s worth. Check your settings and go to UI. You’re looking for the Eternals Milestone Display option. Set to “None”.
