From disabling the chemtech drake way sooner than any of us expected, to reverting the event pass nerf, to attempting to address the insane level of tankiness bruisers came to have, among other stuff like the recent copyright claim, I feel they are really trying to listen to players :) . I used to be a t500(challenger equivalent, I guess) player in overwatch, and I loved that game with my whole heart but I had to watch it slowly die from the company genuinely just not caring. No new content, very few balance patches, etc. Before that, I played TF2 years ago when that game was active and also watched it die from neglect despite having a dedicated player base. Ever since I started playing league I feel spoiled in comparison lol.

At the end of the day, they are a big company and their end goal is to maximize profits and just like any other company there are people there whose sole jobs is to figure out how to squeeze money out of our pockets, which is why Lux has 100 skins while some champs are forgotten and things like that.

They also don’t always hit their intended mark with changes but recently I feel they are owning up to that more.

tldr As far as big videogame companies go, they are some of the best I’ve seen at communication and genuinely wanting to keep their player base happy, which is impressive considering how large and diverse said player base is.

We won’t always get everything right 100% of the time, but we do care deeply and are willing to admit when something isn’t working as intended.

Messages like this help our teams re-up from a motivational perspective, thank you for taking the time to write it.

As another person who moved from OW as a gm, I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to start league (spring 2020). The learning experience was far more difficult than any other game and thus that much more rewarding, and to actually have patches like every 2 weeks and frequent new champs just bewildered me. Thank you and your team(s) for your hard work <3

Better late than never. Welcome to League. :)

I have friends who never tried League, and they shit on me for playing this game for a decade and not moving on. They fail to understand how it is possible for me or anyone to still be interested.

This game gave me an escape from watching my favorite shooter of all time(Halo) being ruined by a company who didn't care. So thanks for all the hard work.

Thanks for sticking with us. Here’s hoping the next decade is just as good as the last. :)

Thank you for your hard work, I’m sorry for all the negative comments you guys get, that shouldn’t be part of anybody’s job description.

Feedback is an essential part of any healthy relationship, though the anonymity of the internet allows people to be a bit more direct or less empathetic than they’d be in normal every day life. Regardless we know people only deliver feedback when they care enough about a game to do something about it.

Thanks again for all your support. Means a lot to us, truly does.
