Karthus was performing very well in mid too, just not as insanely as his other roles.

For those that dont know, her current max bonus damage from her ult execute for the last FIVE MONTHS has been 375 (which is the supposed JG monster cap, which has been missing all this time, which is why her ult can now often outdamage smite), basically if you werent ulting ppl above half hp her ult was almost always dealing less damage than intended (specially more as you rank up, at rank 2/3 even against squishies at above 50% it would do less damage than intended).

Which is why it was doing close to no damage to anything remotely tanky, glad thats being fixed, on the other hand i dont think it'll make jinx useable in high elo sadly (she needs bigger changes for that, like a passive rework or reverts of tons of nerfs she got in season 5) hope they have some plans for her though because diamond and above shes just a worse version of aphelios and having a champ that is only good in low elo is horrible (which is why i think her passive should be changed, most of her power being locked behind kills is of course great in low elo since there ppl will just int for anything but bad in high elo/competitive).

While it wasn't the case 2 years ago, Jinx's ability to win games currently doesn't decrease with MMR. She's certainly weak in pro play, but she wins quite a bit in high mmr (D2+).

Reducing his Q monster dmg to 80% wouldn't have made him bad for sure and it hits his jungle without hitting lanes harder.

Because this is a fairly substantial nerf to his primary DPS tool and we didn't want to nerf just Jungle (note that the patch notes say that his botlane was similarly OP [it was even stronger than jungle]) and mid was very very strong as noted above
