Hello, I have been playing this game for over 8 years straight, as a human i have an eye handicap that I was born with which makes my sight on both eyes very bad especially one of the eye more than the other. On my windows PC i have zoom in 150% in order to see icons and applications. I have a friend with almost the same eye issue but his is worse with a glasses strong as 7.8 (for those who don't know this he can not ever take driver license and is consider as half blind" we both play with a minimal scale of 3 respective 4.5 in order to even see jungle camps and pings. After the patch we can't change those settings anymore.
My friend told me he had to leave a game right away because he hear pings but can't see them. His team mates are getting attacked by enemy and he is right beside but missed it because he couldn't see it on the map. He got axienty and left the game. For me I have stopped playing after 1 game because this gives me anxiety as well..
We are a minority and i agree some people used this function as an advantage but it was never illegal to use, i got this suggestion from riot games support themselves 7 years ago. But the impact this function had for us helped us play the game, i don't care about if others used this function as an advantage, for me this is the only way to see.
I contacted riot games 7 years ago and they said to me to use it on your own risk since changing this scale could cause bugs, for me I don't care if it causes bugs. It is my way to play.
The only way for me to ask help is from the support by the community, the way i was born is not my fault and should not impact my ability to play the game, it is so unfair, i know life is unfair but please..
Do the blind community really deserve this?
