So for those who have forgotten last year worlds had some of the worst Observers ever.

For reference look at these comparisons.

Really hype sequence from G2 vs Sun the observers were almost jittery in the way that they would focus on the plays. Like how someone would play with a locked cam in league. - https://youtu.be/kedHaPEaQQI?t=3077 (Especially here https://youtu.be/kedHaPEaQQI?t=3196)

Now here is a really similar sequence from this worlds. MAD vs LNG its soo buttery smooth and everything is focused perfectly these observers are soooo good. - https://youtu.be/FXMK3PUjUd0?t=2973

Anyhow these are just the games I am remembering now and I also remember there were a lot of posts on this sub about people not being happy with the observers from last worlds. I even remember I think it was Raz casting a game and there was a Syndra who got caught and as they were going to kill her they started showing a replay or something and Raz was not happy and even shouted HE IS DEAD! But I cant remember what game that was.

So here is some much-deserved and honestly overdue praise for our awesome observers for this worlds.

TL:DR

Thank you so much for the praise! We don't usually get the positive kind of praise, so this really means a lot <3

It was a mix of LEC and LCS observers. 1 live observer from each and then 2 NA and 1 EU for replays and such rotation. (Same as MSI) Awesome people to work with, love them to bits!

Don't think he has observed for a couple of years now.

tho sometimes it felt like there were too many replays

Guess it's hard to get a middle ground since there were also people complaining about us doing too few :(
