Top: Nite (LPL Import (?) Can't really find too much info on him. Formerly known as Eclipse1, from Mirage Oasis an NA amateur team and Team E turner, runners up of the Tyler1 Championship Series in 2018.)

Jungle: Dragonminkin (Played for NA Amateur team Hyper Nova, won the Tyler1 Championship Series in 2018, thanks u/dyzl_wyzl!)

Mid: Palafox (NA, formerly of GGS Academy)

Bot: k1ng (OPL Mammoth Player, went to worlds)

Support: Diamond (NA, Played for TF Blade's team)

Coach: Reignover

An interesting team overall. I'm a bit low on details for Nite, as far as I can tell, he doesn't have a gamepedia page.

Edit: I was wrong on Nite, he's not an LPL import, he's an NA resident, also from an NA amateur team, Mirage Oasis.

Palafox is someone who I think could one day be an LCS caliber mid (probably would be just fine if they put him in LCS right now, tbh). He's legitimately talented, but has been hamstrung by having really bad teams around him.

Pala defs improved a lot and was absolutely one of, if not the strongest piece of GGSA last split, but not a Top 3 mid in Summer IMO. Personally I think GoldenGlue, Olive and Yusui were all better than him but he was still good. Mid is generally a pretty top heavy role (at least in NA) so his continued improvement and now moving to the talent moulding machine of C9 bodes well for his future.

And the Oceanian exodus continues. Man I'm so sad for OCE, there's gonna be no one left there soon, Shernfire, k1ng, Destiny, Lost, FBI, ry0ma already all gone...

You lost Lost in there!

They are players who have proven that they are suited for the pro player life. But they can still improve (NA is still better than OCE lol), no language barrier, and cheap.

Also the import rule improved for smaller regions and OCE is the most obvious one to draw talent from based on the reasons you mentioned, so good players that fall under the 'Inero rule' (unofficial name) are generally pretty valuable and a safe investment.

I listed the advantages, but yeah

Sorry, was more adding onto your post to the original poster, wasn't trying to hijack your already great ideas!

Definitely. Yusui and Olive both should have made the leap to LCS either last split or into 2020. They're both easily LCS caliber mid laners who would fare well in LCS if given legitimate, extended opportunities. Palafox/Insanity as a tier below them need a bit more time to round out.

Sad none of the LCS orgs care about these players and they just wither away through the years! Sucks!

I care about Academy AccomplishedCamel, I CARE.
