Greetings Summoners!

Look, I'm not super keen on the new numbering set up for patches either, but we're all just gonna have to suck it up and re-adjust.

With every new patch Riot introduces to balance out champions and items there are some unforeseen issues that creep up and cause disruption during gameplay. We have noticed that these issues which eventually get fixed clutter up the subreddit immediately following the patch.

We want to avoid this by having a single Megathread which will be posted after every patch so that you guys can report the various issues in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered.

Note only bugs caused by the 25.S1.1 Patch should be reported below.

Prerequisites to be noted before reporting a bug


  1. A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
  3. The bug must have been caused by the latest patch.

Format when reporting a bug: When reporting a bug, please provide as much information as you can about your computer.

Server: The server you encountered the bug (NA, EUW, EUNE, TR, RU, BR, LAS, LAN etc)

Type of Bug: Client Bug, In Game Bug etc

Description: Describe what was the bug that occurred.

Video / Screenshot: Insert screenshot (F12 in game) or Video of the bug occurring.

Steps to reproduce: Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug.

Expected result: What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above.

Observed result: What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above?

Reproduction rate: If you try to recreate the bug how successful are you in causing it to occur? (1/10: Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10: Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10: Happens every single time)

System specs: Processor, Video card, Ram, HDD/SSD, everything you can provide, even drivers.


Example Bug:

• Server: EUW

• Type of Bug: In-Game Bug etc

• Description: Zed's R (Death Mark) does not apply secondary damage

• Insert Video / Screenshot of the incident

• Reproduction rate: 2/10 (happened 2 out of 10 times)

• Steps to reproduce:

Launch a game after selecting Zed as your champion. Attempt to use Death Mark. Observe the result.

• Expected result: The damage should apply after a short delay, amplified by damage dealt during the effect.

• Observed result: The damage will not apply properly.

• System Specs: Intel i5 Processor, Windows 7, Nvidia Graphics card (insert model number) etc.

  • Steps to reproduce: Buy hubris, it will show the AD gain as 10+1/champ kill. Randomly it will change to 15+2/champ kill. Then it will randomly swap between them.
  • Observed result: It seems to swap between two formulas randomly

Note this was on ARAM.

I see you are playing as Jayce, it is swapping between the formula for melee and when you are ranged, depending on what form you are currently in.

  • Steps to reproduce: Open a Rune Page after updating the client, select the Domination Tree and choose the runes. Go into a practice game to confirm whether runes are there. The middle row will be missing.
  • Expected result: Should be the new row of runes added in 15.1 and then visible in game.
  • Observed result: The season 14 runes are available in the client and then you have 1 rune less in-game.
  • Reproduction rate: 10/10

Investigating this - we've narrowed down the issue to be a Swiftplay-specific one. Certain missions aren't properly progressing in Swiftplay. Thanks for the report!

Description: I have a quest to do 10,000 DoT damage to champions. I have just played a game as Brand, where I brought Blackfire Torch and Liandry's Torment. However, despite doing 22,092 damage to champions in total, no progress on the quest was recorded.

Steps to reproduce: Play Brand. Buy Blackfire Torch, Liandry's Torment. Do damage to champions

Expected result: I expected to see substantial progress on the DoT quest. It's almost impossible not to do DoT damage with Brand due to his passive.

Observed result: No quest progress made.

Edit: Looking at my quests I am also seeing 0/10 in "Build legendary items" - which is odd because I was full build in my Brand game.

Hi there - was this in a Swiftplay match? There is a known issue where certain missions aren't tracking in Swiftplay queues (bots is included in that), those two missions are on the list.

Missions were in the old pop-up view initially, I did some and none of them counted. Now they're in the new WELCOEME TO NOXUS Objectives tab, but the only Weekly mission that seems to be tracking is the Earn 175 point sby playing games one. My Get 5 ward Takedowns, Deal 7500 dmg to champs with items, and play 1 game with Inspiration Keystone are not updating after I've tried both Swiftplay and Bot games to finish them. Note that I believe different accounts have different weekly missions and I don't think multiple accounts saw progress in this area.

Edit: Update -- "Takedown Atakhan 2 times on Summoner's Rift" is also not registering progress. I assume the new game mode (SwiftPlay) counts as SR.

Also, it'd be nice to have a refresh timer on the WEEKLY missions, like the DAILY has. I assume Weekly reset will coincide with patch time (Early AM Wednesday mornings), but it'd be nice to be sure.

We're tracking down a issue with certain missions not working on Swiftplay queues (which includes bots) - these missions are on that list. Hopefully will have a fix in ASAP. Thanks for the info!

EDIT 1/10/2025 5:10PM PST A micropatch was deployed in the last hour that fixes the bug with Swiftplay queues not granting progress towards certain missions. All missions possible in Swiftplay queues should now be functional.

There is a separate issue with a single specific mission - Takedown 30 enemies in a single game of ARAM - that a fix is still ongoing for. Thank you everyone for your reports, they helped me track down the core issue very well.

Now! A micropatch went out for it about 20 minutes ago; ran a swiftplay on live and saw progress.

Totally agree on it being frustrating. I wanted to do my OWN missions in swiftplay too
