I'm sure, based on the posts, that we've all been hit with Rank Reset Syndrome.

It's been a few days, and I'll admit, I was in my Gold 3 Promos for Gold 2, about halfway through them, and I woke up the next day in Bronze 2 after losing my first placement game to some trolls.

regardless, I know it's a sh*t elo and whatever, but I feel the same as everyone else does. Just remember that you are a human.

you have a family, you need to eat, you need to exercise, you need to go outside.

as much as we all want to climb back to our normal ranks, don't forget to be human. if you're truly as good as you were 2 weeks ago, you'll climb back up there no problem, and you've got 12 months to do it.

there is no need to no-life this game into oblivion for the next few weeks/months until you restore your rank.

It's a solid message, one that some of us just need to be nudged with from time to time.

If you feel like you or someone you care about needs help maintaining balance in their life, I encourage you to read and share the resources that were made in collaboration with mental health orgs headspace and Le Va down here in OCE.

Help people be informed of what they can do to improve their physical and mental health, and help them feel empowered to take small steps in getting there. Also, congratulate yourself or others for taking a bunch of small steps over time. It is better than demanding yourself or others make drastic changes and then being too scared of failure to take a step at all. At least, I've found myself and others to be more responsive to this approach of encouragement.
