Open/Roll all loot?

I did not really follow all the changes to the loot system, which are coming up.

From reading a few posts & articles and watching a few videos i understood that there wont be any free chests going forward. Only the pass.

And something was mentioned about the reroll system. But i did not quiet understand it. Are they removing the rerolling entirely or adjusting it somehow, so that the whales cant just roll all new loot?

I haven’t opened my loot since i don’t really need any more skins, but i sure as hell don’t want to be scammed by the new system.

I appreciate any answers that give me clarity about whether or not to open all my saved loot before the new season. My friends would certainly appreciate it if i opened my loot, since they have been going crazy for years that i don’t open it ^{^}

I could never have this level of self restraint. I decide to open a box in any game in the first .03 seconds it hits my inventory.

Real talk: None of our changes for this year should impact the contents of the chests you showed here nor the content in your inventory at all. There's also no changes to what is currently in the reroll pool before or after season start. (Remember to always check /dev articles and patch notes for any specific callouts on content eligibility in the reroll pool)

As for what exactly we changed I'd recommend reading the article that we published here.

What's probably most important to you though is Masterwork Chests since you have a few of those. We're no longer offering those going forward but they'll stay in your inventory if you still have them. Which means we're going to eventually delete the track. I'd recommend opening those asap and claiming the bonuses on the track cause if you don't before the track goes away you won't be able to progress/claim those rewards. (We plan on running an auto claim for all players who forgot to claim the track rewards when we remove it)

You should be safe to open everything else at any time without worry that the contents inside will be changing, alongside no plans to change rerolling anytime. Just make sure to open those Masterwork chests before we remove the track so you get some bonus Mythic Essence.
