I've seen so many people in comments or in entire threads react as if Riot announced nothing but some TFT news for the anniversary. I think the Riot Pls is going to be a lot more important than people seem to think, we already have a pretty good idea of what some potential announcements could be after leaks like League Mobile (not saying this should be the only thing given but it's one we already know of), maybe this Riot Pls will serve as a Nintendo Direct type string of exciting news. After all the segment is named after us begging Riot for things, it would be the perfect time to announce a bunch of things people want. Of course big gameplay updates for both of the major game modes would be a (hopefully small) part of that and that's the least spoiler-y thing they could tease. I know it's been a tough year for a lot of things in this game but don't just open the article, find "TFT" and decide what's happening

As a member of the smash community you should’ve seen the rage and conspiracy theories that accompanied each and every character reveal in the lead-up to ultimate. That community is nuts lol
