As some of you may know, Riot has been raising money for COVID19 relief through their Riot Games Social Impact Fund so they auctioned some digital experiences and collector's items like this one. Thus if you ever wondered what a League server looks like? This was one of the first and, after powering countless hours of fun, it now sits on my desk.

Specs:

2x Intel Xeon 5430 4 core CPUs

8x 1GB PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM

1x Western Digital 256GB Hard Drive

Hey, I'm glad it arrived! Thanks so much for your support for COVID relief and I hope you're doing well and staying healthy.

Given it's age, I think you need to smash two rocks together near an outlet to turn it on...

I think they don't sell EU servers because they still use them.

As a member of the data center team this comment cuts deep, lol. I can tell you confidently all of the original EU servers are in a farm upstate enjoying their retirement.

You use American terminology to portray the death of EU servers. I am suspicious..

Would it help if I told you the EU DC team put them out of their misery personally after the refresh?
