So I'm a noob. My account is level 40 and most of that is vs AI because honestly I'm too afraid to go back into solo queue. I make dumb mistakes and don't have a good grasp of the game but it feels like regardless of how I do there Is a good chance I'm gonna get flamed anyway. Recently I played a match as Syndra and in the beginning I did pretty good. I went 2&0 took the turret and I was playing against another Syndra. It all went down hill after that though. I'll admit I don't really know how to team fight but my Xayah and Evelyn proceeded to flame me for the rest of the match. I went 3/5/3 and we lost about 35min in. Funny thing is they blamed me for everything rather than the 24and 6 master Yi on the enemy team. They said I should just afk in spawn cause I'm not even good enough to be bait and that being new isn't an excuse because riot games designed bot mode for new player. I play a lot of bot mode but you can't really learn how to team fight there because team fights dont really happen there. This type of experience is honestly why I'm so anxious when I go into pvp. I've never been a very mentally healthy person but the constant bullsh*t really pushes me over the edge sometimes. I don't have friends and I don't know how to make any new once to play with. Im not a very internet savvy person, I don't have a mic or a discord. Is there somewhere that a new player like me can go to get better at the game that is less stressful.

If I’m playing a game and I make a mistake, then see a teammate is going to flame or be disruptive in chat, then I’ll mute them and do my best to shake it off and focus.

The other thing is if you play with friends, make sure you choose friends that are more focused on having fun than winning.

Playing League is all about having a good time and peeling away at that never ending onion of mechanics, strategy, and game knowledge. Try to be a positive force for change in your games and mute when it’s getting to your head.
