[2019] Riot Jatt on Patch 9.14

Seeing alot of noise about patch 9.14 Wanted to share some thoughts: For years, pro teams have been asking for big patches to not be playoffs/worlds patch. This patch hits LCS during week 8 (two weeks before playoffs) leaving some time to stabilize before playoffs. 1/4

Mechanics changes are mostly off the table until after worlds patch, the earliest it has ever happened. Most of this patch is about thinking long term -- towards trying to create a strong Worlds meta. 2/4

9.14 changes are definitely on the risky side -- which is why they are being done now instead of during playoffs patch, or in the time between playoffs and worlds. Things that buff or nerf too much in 9.14 will be toned down or up in 9.15 or 9.16 (with numbers) 3/4

I’m personally very excited to see how this patch shakes out, also posted some thoughts about Galio since everyone seems to think it’s a nerf. It’s meant to be a nerf to his pro-shape but a buff to his solo Q Win-Rate
