The League of Legends Twitter account just posted this, announcing a new event around the Ruination called Rise of the Sentinels that will be coming July 8th. What exactly it entails has not been revealed yet, but from the sound of it will likely include the new Sentinel champion, and we'll likely see them on the PBE this week given the timeframe if true.

It’s a traditional mage rather then burst. She will be out later this year but expect to see her cast a heavy shadow over this event

She won’t be released, no. But she will be a part of the event ;)
About time to be honest. The hype kind of simmered down considering the introduction videos you guys pump out at the start of a season made it seem that this Ruination thing and the champions associated would generate way more content. But I guess great things take time.
Yeah well the ruined king game and the Yordle getting moved kind of killed the momentum a bit. Both were originally meant to come out in-between Season Start and this event and be beats in the campaign. COVID kind of messed that up a little but it’s all good
You guys had better be giving love to Yorick in this storyline or there will be hell to pay.
