So, as we all know G2 choked yesterday in Finals against FPX. This is not a post to make a cry, it is a fair tournament and wins the better team, I just feel like I have 0 interest on watching esports next year, why should I? Every year when I stick on EU teams and cheer them at the end I only get disappointment and just a "we'll get better and get them next year" message everytime when deep in you know that it's very hard to be at the same spot and have the same or better chances. Yes, you are going to get better and try your best, but there are several other teams that will get better as well.
And now I just wonder why should I stick at esports? How do people cheer for a team that always loses? Why should I cheer for any EU/NA team if I know at the end they are going to lose against a LPL or LCK team?
Well yes they can always win the typical spring and summer split but let's be honest, who cares that? In the end what people remember is the World champions, and that can be reflected even ingame with the skins, that's what truly matter to make history and I know EU and NA won't make it.
I'm very proud of my region, they did it to Finals, but this is just not enough and now I'm like... Now what?
