[2021] What happened to series 2 eternals?

I know a lot of people here dont really like them but there are also a lot that are excited about them. Last year they announced that we would have a new series by January 1st. They were understandably delayed because of COVID. Series 2 eternals were leaked 6 months ago. I believe they have said that the programming around certain parts of series 2 was a bit more intensive than series 1 which is also understandable. But the season is almost over and we have been told literally nothing. It would be nice to get some communication about the future of eternals. If people really dont like them, they should atleast say that they wont be continuing them.
